A critical hit.

You deserved that troll. But Troublemaker explained perfectly, if you cannot understand how important to support your team mates you are best off to play single player games and not multiplayer games....

Managed to get extended camera view working and Sixth Sense mod working on the PT

Ability to hide port's interface for amazing screenshots?
OldGrandad replied to TankScrapper's topic in Archive
In port, right click and move the cursor and the port interface will disappear leaving the ship, port and the WoWs logo ready for that screenshot. -
Gee, a ship does not make a player. A player makes the ship. You cant buy skill........
-
On starting a battle (today) the minimap became transparent (which I prefer) but only the domination caps and ships were visible (no land masses).

No loss. I have found most of our RU comrades to be better mannered than quite a few EU players. We need cross border interaction to bolster player numbers during testing otherwise we would not accomplish much at all. Strangely enough the Tone model was in the PT update, who knows?

WarAngels was spot on in explaining what is needed to decompress the files and I appreciate that. Shame the PT ended before I could test any mods but it looks promising there will be a GUI interface for the unpacker prior to the release of the update, Thank you for the info MrConway.

You really are dense. I pointed out the obvious which as obvious as it was completely flew past you. Troll? Look in the mirror comes to mind...... Thank you for making it plain for those that missed what I originally pointed out.

What OS are you using and is it 32 or 64bit? 32bit version found in - "C:\Windows\System32" 64bit version found in - "C:\Windows\SysWOW64"
-
I think you mean poor gameplay........ [edit] To explain to those that missed the obvious - you get reported for poor play but complemented for good play[/edit]

Will appreciate a guide for very inexperienced mod makers (myself as an example) to use this.

Albany gun range bug - no benefit from AFT
OldGrandad replied to Trigger_Happy_Dad's topic in Archive
Hi Trigger, The Albany's main guns are 152mm so are out of the range for AFT, -
Since it was released I have kept it in a separate folder and installed it after each update and it works every time. No conflicts with any mod I use in Aslains.

Change win game to only "Kill all or Cap flags"
OldGrandad replied to DJ_Phoal's topic in General Discussion
Quite a strange request from someone who has played over half of their 239 battles in an Umikaze? No to draws.......... -
Back in '63 they taught punctuation and grammar better than they do today, you failed obviously,

This +1. @von_Boeg - The RU CA's are butter compared with similar tiered cruisers, they melt under fire. Oh, what drop of players? I am an infrequent player but always see the same amount of players online or as near as damnit! As much as I like the RU CA line grinding them is a bit of a curse for me.....

Toby is correct. The game is free so it is up to you whether you pay for Premium and you seem to forget currency conversion. In fact the price for 30 days has dropped 2p since your first post

Edited. SkybuckFlying, on 07 April 2016 - 11:46 PM, said: My complaint is not really about balancing with the enemy tier, it's more about lack of my skill or intentional grieving and so forth.

He may be referring to peasants from the 1515 revolt.....

Once basic testing has been carried out on the 'live' server the ships are then released to all players. From there on data is mined on how the ships are performing in respect of their counterparts (same class ships on the same tier). If a ship is found to be either over performing or under performing, certain ship parameters may be changed to further 'balance' the new ship(s). So, in a nutshell once ships are released to all all who play new ships then become 'testers' in their own right. Hope that helps.

Would have been a good joke only if Spartan had not complained about it a few days ago......

I have got the extra zoom out working (ones in the installer give you that distorted port view). This will mean a bit of editing of the consumersCamera.xml file in the res folder. Firstly copy the original file in res and drop it into res_mods\0.5.4.1. Now, for the editing and for this I wholly recommend Notepad++. If using Notepad++ scroll down to line 911 as below; The original lines of code look like this for non Notepad++ users; As you see, I have left a gap and that is where you need to insert the below lines of code (for Notepad++ users the lines that need to be added are from 912); Save. As you have copied the original camerasConsumer.xml you will have the relevant controller keys already in the newly edited file so will not get any issues in game. I am using the extra zoom out now without any issues whatsoever, Hope that helps those that want an extra zoom out.

Proximity/collision-alert for friendly ships
OldGrandad replied to DaWyrm's topic in General Discussion
This. Not only right click to come out of zoom for possible collision, but also to detect whether any other enemy is firing upon you.
