Hi Leo, I managed to download a version yesterday but cannot find the link. It works.... but differently. I will explain. It shows the ships damage in the panels as the last one did but once sunk the ship and player is removed completely from the panel. The small regular icons at the top of the screen remain untouched though, a question of getting used to it. If you want a copy please PM me (unless I can find the source again!). To be honest, if you cannot see (by the funnel smoke) whether a ship is static or moving etc than you need glasses not a mod. I believe the mod author says it conflicts with the damage count on the results screen and I know I want that more than damn traffic lights on my screen!

The film review on BBC of this film showed that very poster, how come you say it is a fake?

For offers it should be all or nothing in fairness. To give communities differing offers leads to resentment and bitterness. I do agree with the OP, sell them to us or do not sell them to other communities.

Karma? FFS why bother? If it worries you so much quit playing. My concern is the quality of players, took my new Schoors out to be confronted with a battle full of Tirpitzs. Of course my paper ship got melted by Tirpitz lasers but on spectating found one of my teams Tirpitz had all of 14 battles under their belt. Sod karma stop selling children sweets........

Just a heads up. Installing Training Room enabler breaks the crosshair choice button. You will not be able to select the other crosshair available. Other than that it works but be aware of this issue.

No subs here........ The weather is a nice touch which affects everybody one way or another. Maybe one day a more animated sea will appear to top it off.

1. It would have been nice if you had included a 'placeholder' to drop a crosshair of your choice to replace the stock crosshair. Looking in the swf files I see there is another crosshair design (unsure of the author but recognise it). 2. I do like the carousel and currently have it set to 4 rows with which I appreciate. Favourites? Yes another plus but have the same concern as von below. 3. Really? Fire? Looks like some poor attempt for flames to put on a custom car rather than give a dramatic effect, thank goodness you put in the option to disable it.

+1 to the OP. Now the stats are changed on torps and some captain skills are based on torps either reset those captains skill points or give gold to retrain those captains that are affected.

My net speed and PC is far inferior to yours (as you describe) and downloads are fine and installation is always done measured in minutes and not hours. I would look at your own rig and connection before laying the blame with WG. Oh, and as others have said the next update is large so I suggest going away for the weekend to see the sites and hopefully on your return 5.5 will be done!

This is always the case when it comes to updates due to time differences between the regions. This time tomorrow you should be able to connect.

Quite simply no, backed up by 75% of the votes. The OPs thread is misguided and needed to be more like can WG please readdress balance between certain premium content against the stock content. But like Ishiro I care not for ranked due to its inherent weaknesses (botting, AFK etc) and not overwhelmed by team battles but segregation is so wrong. Balance not segregation.

Knowing how easy it is to unpack the new game files I am sure the current mod makers will have their respective mods altered to suit the new update very soon. The res_mods folder will still have the same structure so no problems there. I tested some mods on the test server and they worked well (extended zoom and sixth sense icons).

The weather implementation is a positive one. Some have decried it as not 'realistic' (planes not being able to land for instance) but the way it has been used mirrors the arcade style of the game. I personally like the droplets of water running down the scope lens, and whilst we cannot have large waves at the moment, it would be good to have the scope drenched in water as though a large wave had crashed across the bow. A great addition for all maps and all tiers.

I know this is nerdy but I was on the bridge of the Belfast last Saturday with friends from WoWs. The guide said although the Belfast was supposed to have fired the first shots it was indeed another ship that beat the Belfast by around a minute. Apart from that statistic, she was indeed upon her return to active service after the mining, to be the most powerful British cruiser in active service at that time. A true tier 8 cruiser if ever I saw one, a great ship indeed and worthy of seeing.
