    Blyskawica in the Premium Shop

And yet the smaller bundle, which consists of the ship (and it's respective port slot), 2'000 doubloons, & 7 days of premium is cheaper than than a standalone tier 7 premium ship and it's port slot. Effectively, from the 2 tier 7 premiums we have, you can see the price range for a standalone tier 7 ship. (£20 to £25) So what you get by buying the £21 bundle is the ship, and free doubloons and free premium time. And people still complain. What logic are you running on?

    Royal Navy Tech tree Proposal

Except that the term "Battlecruiser" doesn't exactly describe these ships very well beyond Tier 6. In effect, it would be better if they were called "Fast Battleships" as soon as the British get to Hood, considering that their armour is basically equal to comparative tier battleships (Definitely in the case of the British - unsure for other nations).

    New Supertesters.

Hmm, I wonder, - testing the ships is definitely a fun thing to do, and report writing is no problem for me (I tend to overdo things and go into far too much detail when that is concerned), as well as the nice new Supertester badge.- On the other hand, I don't have the time to spend much time testing new features and game versions. *Internal Debate Intensifies*

    Royal Navy Tech tree Proposal

Well, personally I would think that the German & British Battlecruiser line would go like this: (only up to tier 7 for the Germans as I would need to research some more) III - Von Der Tann Invincible (Indefatigable - Premium & Furious - Premium) IV - Moltke (Seydlitz - premium) Lion-1910 (Queen Mary - Premium & Courageous(Glorious) - Premium) V - Derfflinger Tiger VI - Mackensen Renown VII - Ersatz Yorck Hood (Anson* - Premium) VIII J3 or F2/F3 IX G3 X K3 or I3 or H3 *= Anson is basically a what if modernised Hood/Admiral - To please those who want a premium Hood/Admiral, like with Tirpitz & Bismarck. Regarding wether the E.Yorck can compete with the Hood, they are very similar, though not all ships are created equal, so Hood will probably be better in-game, However since there are a lot ships in the game like E.Yorck which never received upgrades later on, or were never set afloat, I would presume they would all get a 'what if' upgrade/modernisation. The high and low tier British battleships, will definitely need one. In fact, I think we already have one with Myogi if I'm not mistaken.

As far as I'm aware, Yorck in game is the Entwurf I/10 design, a preliminary for the Deutschland. But Hood is definitely on par with the Ersatz-Yorck - both should be tier 7 battlecruisers.

What we know about Ships: Updated 05/04/2017

I'm not exactly an expert on the matter, although I would think that Capitani Romani is more likely to be the tier 10 destroyer considering that Konigsberg(1927) is the tier 5 German Cruiser. My specialty doesn't exactly lie with Italian ships!

    Comically embarassing - Mikhail Kutuzov

Well of course, I think having Sea Cats would be a little unfair to World war 2 era planes. As built should do though. I keep a fair distance away thankfully. Not taking my chances with it.

    Royal Navy Tech tree Proposal

The problem with putting G3 at tier 8 is that it would outclass it's rivals quite significantly. Amagi only just has the edge in gunnery, with only 1 more gun. Turrets are a little bit more awkward, to use than Amagi. But G3 should have better accuracy. Yet G3 is incredibly strongly armoured compared to Amagi. This armour is what sets the 2 ships apart effectively. G3 has the armour of an equivalent battleship like the North Carolina or Iowa. This combined with her speed of 32 knots and competitive guns, means that G3 would outclass Amagi in most ways. North Carolina would struggle to compete as well, the only advantage they really get is in the turret arrangement being more practical.

    Royal Navy Tech tree Proposal

G3 was designed to make 32 knots, (while she is in the Battlecruiser tree, she is more of a fast battleship like Hood, but KGV(1939) leads to Lion.) But has the armour of a comparative tier american battleship, as well as a short citadel. This ship will be incredibly tough to sink, much like Nelson, but it's a lot faster, and not restrained by the Washington naval treaty, which restricted Nelson to what she was. Nelson is among her compatriots at tier 7, that is were she belongs. Timescale-wise and ability-wise. Similar guns to Colorado & Nagato. 1 more gun, but awkward turret layout. Better armour than Nagato, comparable to Colorado. Faster than Colorado, but slower than Nagato. Nelson might also have fairly poor mobility. She will be strong at tier 7, but she just doesn't belong at tier 8 against the more modern treaty battleships like Littorio, KGV(1939), Bismarck, NoCar, SoDak & Richelieu. Pre-Nelson designs are the N3, M3, L3, and the G3, K3, I3, H3, J3 etc. All of which are better than Nelson (O3) on paper because they were not cut down by the Washington Naval Treaty. KGV(1939)s guns were perfectly good, probably one of if not the finest 14 inch guns ever built. They were not unreliable guns, it was the quadruple turrets that caused various mechanical issues up until 1943. They will perform similar the 15 inch guns on Vanguard (also tier 8 by me). The 16 inch guns were on the other hand a pain, as the shells they fired differed from the tried and tested Heavy Shell-Low Velocity in the 15 inch, and these are considered as unsatisfactory, the accuracy was not good, the gun barrels wore down extremely fast, which was one reason why the RN decided to use the previous technique of a heavy shell with the 14 inch on KGV(1939).

    Royal Navy Tech tree Proposal

I think G3 at tier 8 is quite a bit of a stretch, personally tier 9 is better I think. she's not exactly a battlecruiser of sorts, but more of a fast battleship following on from what started with Hood. 9x 16inch with excellent protection and speed. Compared to Amagi, G3 has the speed, the guns but has a lot more armour. Ahh Incomparable. Yeah, I don't we will be seeing her for many years. Revenge is tier 6 in the slow battleship tree for me. Basically an un-updated QE. However I would expect WG to give Revenge some advantages over QE or even give her a what if upgrade, as she has no place at tier 5. I'm also expecting Arkhangelsk (Royal Sovereign) to be a tier 6 Premium Russian, so there is that.

Warspite is the worst premium I have purchased from WG

If you are getting destroyed by torpedoes, you are doing something wrong. Warspite is the best Battleship in the game for avoiding torpedoes, thanks to her excellent turning circle. I have gone on record before for saying that the guns on the ship, while powerful, are incredibly RNG dependent, and I still stand by that, it is luck whether you do get hits, but you have to expect that when playing a Battleship. It just hurts more to miss in Warspite as she only has 8 main guns compared to her compatriots 12. The optimal range for Warspite is about 14km and below, as you can reliably hit shots if aimed well from this range. Hitting faster Cruisers can be a pain if they move well, and Cleveland's are just a pain in the proverbial. I find the armour reliable, and don't get citadelled often in it at all. So I don't know what you are doing that prevents this.

    Royal Navy Tech tree Proposal

This has been discussed earlier in the thread. The KGV(1939)s 14 inch guns were very comparable to the 15 inch guns used by most other royal navy capital ships of the time. They fired a very heavy 14 inch shell, compared to the comparatively light 16 inch shell fired by Nelson. All 3 guns are relatively on par with each other. - Vanguard is a tier 9 ship, in every aspect but the guns, which are about tier 7. This creates a decently balanced tier 8 ship, an ideal for a premium considering she is unique, and KGV(1939), J3 & M2? take precedence over her in the Fast and Slow Battleship & Battlecruiser lines I have drawn up. - Nelson is among her counterparts, Colorado & Nagato at tier 7. They all have similar armament 8 or 9 16 inch guns, with good armour, and varying speed. Nelson will be competitive at tier 7 considering her guns are likely to be slightly worse than the other two's. Tier 7 in the slow battleship line is the place for her. - KGV(1939) has the same as if not better armour than Nelson, is 5 knots faster, has comparable guns, and is generally better most aspects. There is no reason why KGV should go at tier 7. It's like Battledragons proposal of putting Vanguard at tier 7. You can't base a ships tier on it's guns alone. Tier 8 in the Fast Battleship line suits KGV(1939) fine. - KGV(1939) at tier 8 also presents the logical development to Lion at tier 9 and a refined Lion Design at tier 10. Lion is basically Vanguard with it's proposed armament of 9 16 inch guns, and is very comparable to Iowa. - N3 & G3 are tier 9 designs in the Slow Battleship and Battlecruiser lines respectively. There are better designs out there that suit tier 10, like L3 for the Slow Battleship line, while H3, I3 or K3 can top the Battlecruiser tree.

    HMS Hood as a premium?

I'm firmly in the No camp. If you have "Admiral" in game, you would have "County", "Tribal" "J,K&N" or "A","B" and "C/D". I can't see that happening at all. It's as bad as not giving Myogi, Zao, Nicholas or Pheonix their respective names and giving them their design number specifications. Plus, in documents of the time, it is referred to as Hood class, after the lead ship. Admiral class is just a term that came up afterwards. I would expect that "Hood" would be the regular tier 7 in the battlecruiser line which can be researched from Renown & QE. Especially since Bismarck is the regular tier 8, I doubt Hood will be premium. For a premium tier 7 or 8 - I would have "Anson" - as an upgraded - what if with slightly different stats to an Upgraded Hood.

    Idea for Premium British Crussier

Most likely, there are several candidates for it - especially at the low tiers. This little tech tree is based on aircraft storage mostly. I would reckon that you could get: HMS Victorious as a slightly USN Flavoured carrier at tier 7. Centaur class at tier 8. Alongside the numerous low tier escort carriers below:

    Royal Navy Tech tree Proposal

HMS Belfast is likely to be a tier 8 Premium, due to her being relatively famous for being preserved on the River Thames. However, if you don't fancy dishing out £30 or so, then I would put my bets on HMS Edinburgh/Edinburgh sub-class being a tier 8 regular light cruiser. After all, Edinburgh & Belfast were sister ships.

    Idea for Premium British Crussier

The C class cruiser would be tier 3 usually, the modifications to Calcutta/Cario could put her at tier 4 though, as a Yubari-esque premium.

    Idea for Premium British Crussier

Personally, for a British Premium Cruiser - I would like the Abdiel Class Minelayers (maybe HMS Manxman?) I would expect them to be tier 4: 6x4-inch guns, no torps, but supremely fast at 40 knots. An alternative tier 4 premium could be HMS Delhi. I would put my bets on HMS Belfast being a Premium Tier 8, while a premium tier 7 could be HMS London, due to her modifications making her unique from the rest of the Counties. As well as this a Premium tier 5 could be HMS Scylla/HMS Charybdis. HMS Effingham could be interesting at tier 5 as well, with her 9 6-inch guns. If WG goes down the route of making preserved ships premium then you could expect HMS Caroline as a tier 3.

Warspite is the worst premium I have purchased from WG

I beat a Colorado on Hotspot in one of the channels at less than 2km in the Warspite. I had about 30k health, he had about 35k health. I still beat him. His 16 inch AP guns did him good there. Not. He even had the advantage on me as he had my flat side at first. And I still shrugged it off and sank him. The side armour when angled is pretty damn good. The only place have ever been citadel-ed in my Warspite is just by Turret B when I'm completely flat on to someone. Never happened when I have been at even a shallow angle.

    Royal Navy ships

The problem I have with that is that Wargaming use the lead ship of a class as the class name for the tech tree ship. They don't use the class name, unless the lead ship names the class. As the lead ship, Hood should be the regular. When I was referring to the tanks, I meant that its an Iconic ship, and while so arguably are Tirpitz and Warspite, you can play their classes in game eventually as Bismarck & QE. With Hood, it doesn't really make sense, you can't have "Admiral", but Naming the regular in game ship Anson, Howe or Rodney goes against WGs naming philosophy. As you are naming a class that existed after the ships that didn't exist for it, while there is one that did. While it would be a great money grabbing technique, I can't see Wargaming making Hood a premium while Bismarck is the tech tree game.

    Royal Navy ships

Honestly, why do people want Hood as a premium? It's like having the Tiger I, M4 Sherman or T-34 in WoT as a premium. Yes, it will make money from its fame, but it's going to receive a lot of flak from people having to pay real money to get one of the most famous ships that was afloat. There is a reason Bismarck is being left as a regular tier 8 Battleship. And no, the most logical place for Hood is tier 7 in a regular Battlecruiser tree. There are precious few battlecruisers that can fill Hood's spot at tier 7. And they are all on paper.

    IJN Tone - General Thread

+1 I don't think Tone is ideal for a premium, considering you can create a hybrid cruiser line quite easily... Taking Tone out of the equation effectively scraps that line.
