Yubari and Sims back on sale in Premium Shop

That is bad news though. No more bullying/roasting/melting tier 6 BBs with Kuma and Phoenix....

The British BC line effectively evolves into a Fast BB line with Hood. J3, G3 etc. have 12"-14" belts. Which is comparable to, and probably better than Iowa. But I guess with people creating their own Tech Trees, it is probably an excuse for me to roll out the fancy graphics. Just a note, Dreadnought & Bellerophon are interchangeable. M2 is iffy at tier 8. Canada is more ideal as a premium, and I could move the mini-Nelson 9x 12" to the tier V slow BB slot instead.

I haven't read about an Italian ship coming, that I can remember of anyway, but I would suspect that fairly soon we will see one. Well, in game, British BCs would play similarly to how the BCs already in game play out. (Kongo, etc.) Imagine a line of Kongo's to start, then after Hood at tier 7, Iowa's (in terms of firepower and armour). South Dakota herself would in a second BB tree anyway, although 2 of her preserved sisters could make it to premium status. I really don't want Hood as a premium, because then that is the only way you can then get the Admirals (Lead ship in tech tree etc.) and I do not feel like shelving out £30+ for Hood as a premium. I will definitely keep her if she is a tech tree ship, not so much as a premium. Ark Royal is a decent bet, since Illustrious & Implacable take the spot she would fill in a RN CV tree. And Ark Royal would not fit in the CVL tree. BC Tree: And premiums:

In a Q&A, Hood and South Dakota (1939) were mentioned as not even begun the process of being modeled. Since a ship model takes 6-7 months to complete, Hood coming 2016 is pretty unlikely, and 2017 is even doubtful. Due to the lack of work, WG could be holding her back for a BC line. Which is the much better solution in my opinion. (Who knows, WG could even release a British BC tree before a BB tree).

Links when I get home and dig them up from what the devs posted on NA. Nevermind then, TAP has complied them and Wildar has posted it above. Plus, just look at the ships data. H39 gets the options for the 16" of H39, and the 16.5" H41 as an upgrade. H42 at tier 10 is a no. The Germans never even seriously considered it. H42 is in the same realm as H44 if you get what I mean. Taking triple turret designs and sticking them on a BB that would hold them, similar to H41, is just as plausible, if not more plausible than H42.

They did say that, but it is off limits in terms of an original design. Basically, since H41 as seen in the archives was not good enough, but a viable and more historical design showed itself, and it left Yamato with the biggest guns in the game, the H41 with Triple turrets was chosen.

H42 is effectively off limits. Basically anything past H-41 is in the realm of fantasy. Hence, H-42 will not appear. And the source is simply looking at the leaks for the tier 9 and 10 German BBs. The Designs WG found in the German archives for H-41 was basically H-39 with different guns, which is not good enough for tier 10 in all honesty, if H39 is a tier 9.

HMS Warspite - A Beauty and a Beast

You have to take into account the playerbase of the ships as well though. As a premium Warspite and Arizona usually get a higher quality of captains, unless they are very popular. Warspite suffers a little from Tirpitz/Lowe syndrome, being the first RN ship in the game, a famous one at that. Arizona is similar to New Mexico, and generally should attract fewer poor quality captains.
  10. How are we going to have any historical battles without the historical hull.... Really WG, that it is pretty disappointing if we don't have them. At least Bayern's appearance isn't ruined immediately. I have to agree, Myogi is a fine looking ship, but Kaiser just looks unwieldy and awkward with that refit.

Baltiless - Des Moines. Your advice please

You are right, I am getting a little confused with New Orleans. /derp The historical Rate of fire is 3-4. To compete, 5 should really do, maybe 5.5, but anything else seems a little over the top, given that Baltimore is probably the best hull at tier 9 for a cruiser.

Baltiless - Des Moines. Your advice please

I would give Balti somewhere in the region of 4.5 to 5 RPM on her gun options, to make her feel a bit more of an upgrade in firepower from New Orleans, and a bit more like an intermediate between NO and DM.
  13. Found ColonelPete (Blyska-Blyska) while sailing in a dvision with Thor (North Carolina), myself in a Fubuki. Unfortunately, I did shamefur dispray and failed the torpedobeat test. And the rest of the team did not exactly feel like moving up. Was defeat. And my Fubuki stats suffered accordingly.

Yes, but I think WG have decided Jet aircraft is a no, after they were removed from Midway. So while in theory it could work, I don't think WG would allow it...

Baltiless - Des Moines. Your advice please

Please don't go down the line that people on NA are suggesting. Which is move Pensacola, New Orleans and Baltimore all down a tier. Based solely on the statistics. Which is a horrible idea.
  16. Trainspite

    Prince of Wales

Yep, Audacious as orginally designed is a bigger Implacable. So 60 more modern aircraft, or about 100 or so smaller WW2 era aircraft.

    Prince of Wales

I am not a supertester (But maybe soon ™ ) so, I can't give you the stats, but just looking at Kaiser, Konig, & Bayern's little avatars shows that they receive a fictional modernisation. Plus, their historical AA would just be woeful at their tiers. It really pissed 1majorkoenig off, he has a thread about them.
  18. Trainspite

    Prince of Wales

A lot of ships are going to have to have a fictional upgrade to their AA. I mean look at Amagi and Izumo. And Myogi. And Yorck. And the German Battleships through tier 4 and 6, which has annoyed a certain 1majorkoenig. It is nothing special or new to the game, and is no reason N3 can't make it into the game.
  19. Trainspite

    Prince of Wales

Not really. Tiger/Blake sits at tier 7 as a premium if you look at the updated trees. You are probably looking at the first attempt, which I did not spoiler. Hood should not be a premium, in which I have detailed why in a few threads. Like this one. tl:dr version: Hood is the lead ship of her class, and henceforth if the Admiral ever gets into the tech tree, which it should, then Hood takes that name. Not using N3 is a complete waste. Plus a lot of players may have heard of the design, and would then demand it be added.

    Prince of Wales

Tiger? As completed with her 2 dual 6" turrets? I have her down as a premium tier 7 under the name Blake, though I doubt she could turn up, since she is awkward to balance and relies heavily on her impressive RoF to carry her, but that is the only thing, aside from the murderous 3" secondaries.
  21. Trainspite

    Prince of Wales

Ark Royal can be made a regular if need be, though she wouldn't fit into a CVL tree, and Illustrious and Implacable have the capability spread for Ark Royal covered. I have her down as a tier 7 premium, though a tier 8 premium could easily work. Audacious carries 60 in the hangar, but you forget that the RN count only those that can be stored in the hangar, and no deck park, due to the rough conditions in the RN usually operate. With a deck park, Audacious can easily accommodate more aircraft to bring her capacity up to scratch. Just like how you see with Illustrious being quoted as 36 in the hangar, but 55 when operating in the calmer waters of the Pacific. And you have to take into account Audacious basically being a bigger Implacable in terms of design, but aircraft got bigger, like the Corsair not fitting in some RN carriers due to their size, while earlier aircraft like the Seafire fitted. Audacious is a mid-point between Implacable and Malta. Next please.

Shocking! Brits Speak With Colonial Accent!

Annoying I know, I think the only mention of it was that it was quite far away from the main battle site, and therefore would be awkward to cover during those expeditions.

Poor you. I'm not exactly ignoring any of yours though, since I can prove it all wrong, all day. Care to say anything else that is wrong with my tech tree though? I'm intrigued.
