Clan literally means a group of people with similar interests in the case of none family meaning. Joining a clan in wows is about being part of a group of people who you share similar interests in. A way of keeping in contact and or doing stuff together. Updating each other on events in the game. Working together to gain knowledge and resources. It’s working exactly as intended.

Playing in a division is about the only thing keeping me sane in the game currently. Even then we have to carry hard. That and being a DD myself so I can guarantee at least 1 DD will be around late game.

You’re entire THREAD is saying that flambass has no skill. The WE all have no skill. That we ONLY win or lose because of the magic MM machine in WG secret evil lair that has decided that you are so special that you should be personally punished by the MM maker. This entire thread and those like it are nothing but an insult to the player base. The 1000’s upon 1000’s of us who have put effort into learning the game. Those that practiced in the lower tiers first before rushing. Those that watch YouTube vids and tutorials. Those that learned from playing with more experience players. Those who came to these forums and asked for advice and help. You are telling us all that our efforts are for nothing. That we have wasted out time because big evil WG is out to get us all. That the 1000’s of hours we’ve invested and the skills we’ve learned are clearly lies and worthless. You are insulting us all with every whine post you make about it. We get called elitist for even daring to show statistics and factual numbers that prove right over confirmation bias and personal feeling. You're not even a bad player! We all have ships or classes we don’t excel in. We all have good and bad runs. Nearly everyone struggles at the same points. We all get upteired. We’ve all had to start from scratch. If MM is rigged... why do I win so much and do well solo overall?? If MM is rigged... why when I'm in division do I have a 60% and up WR consistently??? Ohhh that's right. Skill and experience. Funny how when other players come on the forum, ask for advice, learn from others here and division up to see how to do things better their stats suddenly continue to improve... it's almost like they have learned, got consistent with what they have learned and improved their skills, thus have given themselves a better chance of winning... hummmm

First thing off the bat. This is not a rant at any player or players. I need to make that crystal clear. Now, onto my point. 3 games tonight. 3 separate question from 3 separate players who didn’t know or understand what ship mechanics they had or their opponents had. 1st example. Cleveland player who honestly did not know his ship had a radar consumable. It was his first game in his new ship. Never played a T8 game in any other line. Never knew Cleveland had a radar. How had he been allowed to get to that point? It wasn’t his fault, it would be easy to blame him and call him a noob. But that would be wrong. When there was a lull mid game he asked where to find info on that. Clearly there is a gap missing in, in game communication for new players. 2nd example, T10 DM didn’t know if Asashio torps could hit him. Again, he admitted with grace that he’s still kinda new. Second T10 but has only come across an Asashio once before didn’t know about DW torps. Why would he? He doesn’t have one. Said he doesn’t play DD’s. So where in port which as far as this player ever goes does he get that info?? 3rd example. Player who didn’t understand that he can be spotted on smoke when a ship gets close enough. T6 game. Again newish player. Never had anything explained to him in game about the finer points of smoke use and pros and cons. Myself and a few player recommended CC channels on YouTube and the mechanic videos on the WG main site but they never knew or noticed they are there. Please WG. Help the newbs. Make the links real big and real obvious. Anyone got any other suggestions to help new players find out about how the game works?

You asked, the forum will deliver. Read @Saltface thread. You’ll get a lot of tips there. Post replays and we’ll break down what you did well, not so well and what you could do differently. Watch others replays. I highly recommend it and not just the YouTube CC’s who only put up the best of the best but from us. The standard player base.
