Not gonna lie. I know a lot of players are unhappy. But not me. I don’t mind the extra challenge. After an initial dip in performance in DD’s. I’ve regained what I lost and learnt to play in the new meta with good results. I appreciate not everyone plays the same, has the same skill levels or experience. I’ve been in games where I decimated CV’s in DD’s. I’ve been in games when not in a DD and other DD’s players have been the difference for the team even with double CV’s. But WG are not going to change or back down on the rework. This is the game now. -

Belfast isn’t effected at all. Neither is Kutuzov. Frankly if you’re smoking that close to targets and they can spot you in smoke you’re doing it wrong. And certainly if you’re in Belfast and you’re spotted in smoke, you have hydro AND radar to deal with it. Neptune is the only ship in the RN line that suffers and she is still a very playable and capable ship. Second time round grinding her and she is a monster even in the new CV heavy meta. -

Ahhhh yes, on EU and RS there are enough players. However on SEA and NA servers there aren’t. That’s why WG have said they are sticking to their guns with 2/3 CV’s in T10 and below. -

Have to admit Ranger isn’t one I played. Do like Ryujo. Yet to give Furious a real outing.

T6 is a fun tier. Some great ships, in fact T6 overall has some of the most balanced ships Tier for Tier. Aoba, Leander, La Gal, Fuso, Ryujo, Icarus, Farragut, Fubuki, Budyonny and Nuremberg are just a few. And some of the prem ships are flat out great. Arizona, De Grasse, Duca D’Aosta, Anshan, Monaghan, Makarov and Perth are just a few also. Also T-61 is one of the strongest DD’s in game for its tier. Love playing Tier 6.

Ohhh I'm def liking Big E. 5 games in and yes, Against top teir I still have more to learn but at least try and give an account of myself. Low tiers... murder machine I am not one of you though CV's filth scrubs....well not yet....(internal monologue) *ohh god I can feel it... like Hulk when he's angry... must unleash the planes!!!* And I will not call you Senpai @El2aZeR for I am no weeb!! *Hides monthly crunchyroll payments*

Holy @El2aZeR I see why you like Big E! First game and won in 9 mins flat. Didn't even get a chance to start pilling on the damage farm but what I did hit... LOL! First drop of AP bombs on Balti... 19k then finished him off on the second run. First drop on Roma, massive damage, about 18k also, went back for more before the game ended... Damn... Now I kn wo it will be different against T10's... but are low tier really just fodder?

Gearing, Shimakaze and Z-52 need some love.

Don't agree personally. Gearing and Shima are both strong. Gearing is the ultimate utility DD. It can handle any situation thrown at it and either counter or disengage. It's also the choice DD for competitive and performs well there. Shima is a great boat. Shimas torps are powerful, has very good detection for her tier, now has decent guns for self defence and is also a viable choice for competitive. Those 2 have also been the most played DD's as they are the oldest. No other DD gets close to the games played in them so stats are just not a very good representation overall. Z-52 is also a strong DD. Great at cap contesting and control. Even has decent AA in the new meta. -

Took me 5 mins in a Lexington to whittle an almost full HP Yamato to death. 5 mins from a T8 CV on a T10 BB. And yet a CV survived the constant attack from 2 CV’s... yeah. Balanced... totally balanced... -

The sweet spot is to drop when both inner and outer ellipses meet. Also long as you’ve aimed so it drops in the middle you’ll get good results.

Noster. Not because he's great. But because he show games where he makes mistakes and explains why he made them and how to do better next time. I know a lot of people think poorly of him. But he's honest about his skills and abilities. Which help teach other. You can learn from his before you make them yourself.

"Comfortable and reliable" is how I'd describe her. But, we all have different play styles.

Kaga just seems to suit my style, so does Ryujo. Shokaku will be next and no doubt throw some curve balls my way.

Kaga is now my Waifu... ohhh my god, what the am I writing?? Waifu?? What have I become I need put down... there is no cure for this... I CURSE YOU WEEBS!! CURSE YOU ALL!! But seriously. Learning Ryujo helped my Kaga play massively. Both ships were down in the red zone. Like, deep tomato red. In only a week or 2 of learning and seeking advice it has become much better. My games are better, scores are better and I'm still learning. So,l I'd like to thank those who have given advice in the forum, and @El2aZeR for picking apart just one replay and giving me great feed back. May send more in the future. Here is just a quick glance in recent games.

I had great fun in Kaga this morning, 4 wins, 3 losses but in 2 they were so close and did well individually. and the last lose? Nothing could save the team I had. Trust me, this game is nothing, nothing to the stresses mentally and physically that my day job throws at me :)

I had a MASSIVE brain fart and confused Shira with Akizuki. However I still use shira as gun focused and the torps really to halt pushes on flanks.

£50 for pixels is better than thousands for things like cigarettes with far far less risk of negative consequence. Spending on luxuries is all relative to the person spending it.
