He doesn't know ANY of the game mechanics in any real detail. He refuses to believe anyone who tells him about them. And that's why I'm already a better CV player than you Beast. I actually have the knowledge and apply it properly. There is a reason I have 40k damage games yet top the leader board. I understand KEY targets and what it's worth for rewards but more importantly the team.

I’ve been playing CV’s for 3 weeks now ish... and I’m kinda already better than you. And you still have low stats so that’s still true... However I’m not perfect and still have lots to learn and I ADMIT that. I take advice onboard from better players rather than call them as many names under the sun that I can think of. I learn, you’re the Sisyphus of the forum.

Just because there are CV's in a match, doesn't mean all the surface ships should be able to get away with utterly potato play and licking bus windows at the same time.

Thinking about this thread. I am finding that snuffing out the DD’s over damage numbers first is leading to more wins. When the DD’s are gone then ship selection is key it seems. From a none CV perspective it worth learning what the ships your up against have as strength and weakness then pick targets accordingly. Certainly helped improve my awful Ryujo and Kaga game play and now they are respectable. In Big E I’m putting what El2aZer taught me but I don’t feel I have the right to tell you what to work on when I’m still so green to the rework CV’s. I wish you luck captain and hope those other CV players who haunt the forums can help better than my little bit of input o7

Having to carry this bunch over the line. Had 700 points, 3 caps and a 300/400 point lead at 1 point... then off they went to be harvested to the great potato realm in the sky. The fact the player with the kraken didn't make 1 or 2 says it all about my team.... Big E is great though. Bloody love it so far.

Bumped into @rnat again, this time on the same team :) After teaching the DD's the power of Big E rockets it was time for the big ships... but the reds crumbled away before I could get stuck in proper. GG all round.

What I said was BS huh? Which bit? The bit were I said DD’s need more skill than other classes? Becauses that’s true. Or was it the bit where I pointed out CV’s are staying? Coz that’s also true. So yeah, you being wrong on both accounts doesn’t make what I said BS.

Here’s the thing bub. I’ve had them played AGAINST me. They are strong. I’ve had players on my team play them. They are strong. Now. I suggest a good strong cheddar to match the Whine you have. And as you decided to bring a stats fight, sure... it’s totally the ship that’s “weak”...

Your secondaries should not be doing more than your main armament.

So, got board and combined my DD games from across both my EU accounts. 29 games played in the last 21 days, won 16 gives me a 55% WR. A little bit lower than normal but accounting for the fact that some teams just can't be carried my results on individual ship performance has been solid overall. While I have some poor WR's, the ships themselves have performed well in the CV meta. DD's have a place and a role. Frankly, players need to put the practice in. DD's are now a high skill class. So, it is clearly NOT impossible to play. It IS a case of players skill and learning how to play in the new meta. Proof is in the pudding I suppose.

And Leyte Gulf. 230 warships and 1996 aircraft took part in that battle. While DD’s were nipping at Yamato constantly aircraft were also being sent in at the same time. This is the battle Musashi, Fuso, Mogami and Zuiho were all sunk in. You know you really should learn about naval history before making silly blanket statements.

She’s near the end of testing and certainly doesn’t look weak from what I’ve seen.
