When CV’s first came out I was rocking up in Gearing and Shima constantly so I could get the LM mods. That was before all the hot fixes also. So if you’re all going to base what I’ve said on only 3 weeks worth of playing time. I’m going to assume you’re all asshats. -

... ... Show me on the hull where the big bad CV touched you. And considering your top 10 most played ships are 9, yes 9 are premium I would suggest not throwing stones in glass houses. I suggest getting good before trying to stat bash better players. Unless you’re aiming to be the new Beast of the forum. Also I’ve played 3 times more games in DD’s alone than you have in total. Unless your account is a poor attempt at a re-roll account. -

Considering potato’s still dribble on the keyboard when CV’s aren’t in a match frankly no. Change hasn’t affected quality of players or teams. Or fun. I like being the CV. I like the challenge of going up against CV’s. Coz you know... I don’t need spoon fed easy mode matches. -

Player kicked is probably better of without the clan. All because the clan leaders who should no better don’t understand there is a WG approved mod pack. This “hack” shows what can already be seen. Frankly it seems a farce. However the OP didn’t kick him and now knows there is a WG approved mod pack. Also so respect is earned. The clan leaders rightly lost any respect the moment they went nuclear due to their own ignorance. Mod, close the thread. It’s over. It’s done. -

There are plenty of times being not close/in front of your team is more beneficial for the team in a DD. There isn't a one tactic fits all for DD’s or individual games. I’ve won or been the reason my team have won playing a solo role in DD in many a game. -

Big E is stronger than lex. Played both equally. The results I’ve had speak for themselves. Lex is solid. Big E is just better in all ways. Saipan is the dark horse of all the USN CV’s though. I like Saipan a lot. -

It's not just DD's that get picked on. CV's show lots of love to BB's also -
Easy pickings in CV’s. AA gets some planes but still dropping on them no issues. I have seen them spank cruisers and BB’s who have got to close to them however. Saw one half HP a North Cal that thought it could brawl a Vladistock.

I’ve managed consistent numbers equal to that in Lexington the silver USN ship. Use DB’s and rockets on DD’s. Rockets on cruisers and DB’s and a torps on BB’s. Saipan is a different beast. It has far less reserves but they are T10 planes at T8. So they hit hard! A full torp salvo can hit for 15k. It’s DB’s can easily do 10-15k in a drop depending on how many you land and it’s rockets are solid. Usually get more damage than the others overall but you have to be way more careful with ship selection or you’ll be deplaned very quick. -

Enterprise has some nasty AP bombs. Very effective against well armoured BB's, especially KM BB's. Not so effective against small cruisers. But the rockets make up for it. Overall it's a well rounded workhorse of a CV. -

This morning was all about rockets. Tonight was all about the AP DB's
