Chung Mu is now way better. Which kinda fits the fact all the T9 DD’s are better than the T10’s.

Anyone else had problems with battles not being registered? I double and triple checked it was enabled and it was certainly on. Played 5/6 games. In a class and nation starting from the bottom score and not a single game registered. All the games were 100k dmg games... yet no record of them in Naval Battles. Truly stumped unless I’ve missed something real obvious.

Once that Buff was taken care of, well... steamroll on that flank occurred.

3 years of this format and people still don't understand how and why damage scaling is the way it is. Hence we get whine threads daily from players who just don't learn or bother to understand the game and mechanics and ship class interactions.

Not at all. I’d argue that because you focus on the right target your effectiveness isn’t hampered. And when it is top tier... what it does to T6/7 ships is brutal. Utterly brutal. But that’s personal preference. For me it’s the dark horse of the bunch. Kinda want to see what Indomitable will offer now.

Saipan requires the most skill and plane management. One of the reasons I actually like it. You have to plan and think in advance. Where as Kaga for example, you just send out wave after wave. Or if you’re a real arsehole play a bit passive until the half way mark then unleash all hell on lone targets. I took a Missouri rushing my position from almost full HP to dead in less than 3 mins due to holding back a bit at the start then having full rotation of torps and DB’s. So lots of DOT and constant strikes. Poor bastard never stood a chance.

I fully recommend Saipan. It’s T8 Midway in effect.

That’s why I’ve tailed of playing Enterprise. To get a better feel for the other CV’s. Really really like Saipan, I even do better in it. Top tier Saipan shits on everything. When bottom tier at least it’s planes can dish it out but you have to pick the right target every time. Kaga is just torptastic. Shokaku is wonderful when you get that good MM. Just line up some BB’s then go on a torp run and rinse and repeat. Don’t like GZ, but it’s funny to AP bomb the ever loving out of cruisers who think they can dodge out the way to avoid it. Lex is good. Just not as good as the others. Don’t have any of the RN CV’s bar Furious, which is not a good CV.

I have used IJN DB’s on a DD once or twice if I’d finished of a nearby target and the DD has less than 1000 hp. Very satisfying sinking them and then watching the salt flow in chat 😂 Have you got round to the IJN line yet? I know I’ve seen you in ISN CV’s. Shokaku has very usable rockets and Kagas wreck modules. Can’t wait for Hak. Back to the topic. Frankly rockets will and still are very usable at snuffing DD’s... poor DD’s.

Can confirm this. One pass, triple cit. Ohhhhh, and a nice long ship for Kaga and Shokaku to torp with ease... also can confirm.

What @eliastion said sums it up perfectly. Also Tyrendian is also right. Learn in the lower tiers. Being a DD now is just... rough. Even I've left them in port far more than I ever thought I would have. And what i can do in CV's now? I feel bad for Every DD that I wipe away with ease. Not the BB's however. I'll farm those 's for all eternity. With pure joy and passion.

Have I said before how stupidly strong Shokaku is when top tier?? Well, lets just say I devastate all before me in her. 2 full torp passes.... nearly 80k... sure, not at all overwhelming for the red BB's. And frankly I just kept hammering away, their only real rest-bite was the torpedo planes cool down to get the squad numbers up again

Sounds like a waste of time when dealing as much damage as possible as quick as possible is the more effective option. One full squadron is enough to finish most DD's in Big E with her rockets meaning you can already move onto the next target, then the next.

Ohh I like HVARS on Lex. Big E’s hit harder with no re-aim reticle widening on a run up however.
