As long as there is an option switch on random battles to turn off the modes you don't want to play I'm good, as these sound awful IMO

I like the idea that they have sorted out unequal sides in terms of the actual make up of the MM, but I'm still a bit concerned about ship attributes (radar) being a tad one sided at times

I would look at the game resolution and/or my PC's screen resolution too. Plus if you do get it bigger you can enable ships names for your map too

Takes a while to learn cruiser play properly and you are always learning... every game. But it is very rewarding to top the scoreboard in a tier 6 in a tier 8 game or derivatives of the MM. Map awareness and WASD hax combined with knowing your ships capabilities and your enemies ships foibles will help you overcome other classes and more importantly perhaps help you enjoy cruiser play, good luck!

In a nutshell.............no. I think you should learn your trade in the mid tiers and not free xp skip the boats. Just my two bobs worth but that's how most of us have got to grips with it

Just seen the pegleg skipper that is @Leo_Apollo11 sailing about in his Lyon, fun match, everyone played reasonably well (for a change), compliment given for your rousing speech

Hey OP, I'm not sure what you think you are gaining by this thread? It seems you wrote this post to have a discussion on what you were perusing in your mind. Why then when people voice their opinion (good or bad) you jump in on the attack? I looked at the first couple of pages then quickly ran through the next. Even when people were giving you sage advice you ignored it. Then I thought I'll have a butchers at this blokes stats, damn your bad You may have a lot of battles under your belt but it seems you haven't learned the game at all. Flaming people for their opinions is one thing but then griefing them for their play when it's obvious you really don't have a clue is the pits. My suggestion chief is to lay off the sauce and find another game that you won't whine so much.

Mine hovers around 30 I believe I once got it up to 38 but it quickly fell off that due to me obtaining a kraken and everyone on the enemy team reported me ..... yeah whatever

Can't say as I have no tier tens and after playing up to tier nine and seeing the clusterf*cks at tier ten I can't say that I ever will.

Just had a game where the DD on my flank hit reverse and went backwards to the rear of the battlefield, with those sorts of players random matches become a major chore to win.

That in itself is a bloody miracle, RNGesus was looking down on you and smiling

Had the same tonight, 15 battles 7 wins 8 losses, mainly due to team mates who weren't capable of playing tiddlywinks let alone WoWs
