True, I see your point. As I now have 50 or so crews with 4 skills+ I forgot how long it took to train them. I do like the way you can transfer skill from commanders you have retired

Thanks for the info, I was wondering where the sweet spot might be and where to stop. I can play at all tiers in WOT and hold my own but in WOW I'm a beginner, rushing up the tiers will do two things. Get killed quick and let your team down. This is a big problem in WOT with the matchmaker balancing the teams on tank type only, but you can have one team vastly more skilled leading to 5 min steamroller battles. Enjoying the game so far and not spending any money.

Yep I'm sure you are correct. When I saw that subs were in the game I had a feeling they could go down like wheeled vehicles did in WOT.

I'm a WOT player of 8 years with 26k battles and have starting playing WOW lately, only up to tier 5 but its been fun. All I can say from what has happened in WOT is "you haven't seen nothing yet"
