    But why ? And I am really curious here. Why take the slow ones when you can fire torpedo's well still hidden who travel a lot faster. Or did you fire a lot not on the closest target or something ?

    True again. Even I, not the worlds greatest captain, have great games in the Minekaze. Something was needed, I fully agree. But 1000m was a bit too much. I never used the 10k torpedo's due to their speed, so losing those isnt a problem. But the latest update says 300m detection increase. thats fine with me. Gives 700m to launch and hide again, a bit more exitement added. So a nice change. But the fact remains it will meet less skilled captains like you said and no matter how much you nerf things, that always stays.

    I fully agree with this. I sail my ships always solo so this ranking is nice and not stattable in divisions. Nice, I like it.

    300m I can live with and to be honest was needed. Happy they changed that so quickly.

    You got a point there. But if I get spotted every time I fire my torpedo's and have shitty guns in a Jap destroyer I might as well take a cruiser out for a sail. I would not mind a smaller area of detection, but making it almost equal to the torpedo range kinda sucks and isnt well thought imho.

    But they have usefull guns. Not that I want the Jap ships to have them also. The divercity in those ships is just what makes them fun to play. If you nerf the torpedo's or detectionrange on the Jap ships, you might as well play the USA ones.

    Almost 1k like it says on the official website isnt 1000m also. But it could very well be 950 or 900m. And who to trust a little more ... a supertester or the official website .... thats a hard one.

    Where do you find that 6.6 - 6.8 number ? On the asia site it says 'while the detection distance was increased by almost one kilometer. (http://worldofwarships.asia/en/news/announcements/announcement-public-test-041/' ) I don't see 700 to 900 being almost 1000m. In my book almost a kilometer is somewhere beteen 950 and 1000m.

    Why do they always overdue things. Why not start with 500m detection range increase and see the numbers and adjust it next patch a little higher or lower it. If that 1k is correct you have the same detection range and your torpedo range. What was that dev thinking that that would be a smart plan to have a destroyer spotted every time he fires his torpedo's ??? a lot of times when WG changes things they go to the totally oposed direction. To stealthy ... lets make it visible all the time, to powerfull ... lets make its useless. Almost never they adjust things little by little.

    I never used the 10k ones, but now the detection range is about equal to the 7k torpedos. so almost every time you get to fire them you get spotted. That kinda sucks also cause now you will have 100m to make your move with the detection range being 6.9km and the torpedo range being 7.0km .......... what genious thinks of that ....

    Ahhh ok, got it. To bad, would have liked to send my fighters after those destroyers. Even if it was for little damage and a lot of ammo.
