WG and the prices of space (and other) texture changing perma camos

We had real issues coming up with and agreeing on a price for these camos. We were looking at our regular tier 10 permanent camos that are currently priced at 5K doubloons and offer a significant bonus to the ship and make it much more comfortable to play from an economic point of view. While 5K doubloons is not cheap, we always felt it was a good price for what it offers. Now we have these gorgeous space skins that required a lot of work and offer not just visual- but also geometric variety. And as they also provide the same bonuses as the regular tier 10 perma camouflages (anything else didn't make sense to us) we did not feel we could sell them for the same price. We did the same when it comes to Richelieu by the way, the "Maid of Orleans" and "Republic" camos cost 5k doubloons, compared to the Type 18 (standard permanent) at 3K. I will make sure to let the developers know your opinions as well as the poll results from this thread, as this is our first time doing these kind of skins the feedback is very appreciated and will be taken into account for how we proceed with this in future. -

They were actually intended to have access to this all along, but we unfortunately forgot to enable it for the ships when they were implemented. It provides an interesting choice due to their already very high speed, but at the cost of a potential Damage Control System Modification. I probably would not slot it. -

This would lead to matchmaking issues and force battleship players to wait quite a while for games unfortunately. There is not an easy solution, people simply like playing battleships ;) -

Before submitting your report please check if the bug is listed in our known issues already, in which case no report is necessary. 1. Description Clear and substantial description containing all necessary details. Example: the cruiser Aoba: scout is inoperable. 2. Reproduction steps A sequence of the player's actions which triggered the bug. Example: 1. Select the cruiser Aoba 2. Enter the battle (Training or Random Battle). 3. Try to launch the scout. 3. Result In-game experience resulting from the bug. Example: When you press the scout activation button, you can hear the sound, but nothing actually happens. The aircraft stands still on the catapult. 4. Expected result In-game experience which should have occurred if no bug is present. Example: The scout has to be launched by the catapult. 5. Technical details Example: Bug time: about 19:30 (UTC).Replay (attempt at 01:00), python.log, DxDiag. If you encounter this error, please zip your ~\crashes\ folder, upload it to any online file storage and add the link to your report.

Yes, you should in fact keep playing, maybe try something different, or just go and try to cap. Running away and quitting is not the solution if you are getting your ass kicked. Send in a support ticket and get help getting those issues fixed. Its not your fault, but if it is your network it is your responsibility to get it fixed so it doesn't impact everyone else's enjoyment. Emergencies happen, but they should (by definition) not happen often. If they do you should probably play at times where you are sure you can commit 20 minutes to the game you joined. If you think that because someone spent money, he deserves to be allowed to break the rules, you are mistaken. You are approaching this with the wrong attitude. This is an online multiplayer team game. When you join a game that carries a certain commitment to actually play that game, while following our game rules. If you cannot do this, then coop is probably the place for you.

While I usually don't mind people discussing these kind of issues here, this post is a clear misrepresentation of the facts in the ticket as well as our conversation with you there. We are of course willing to delete accounts on request, but are less happy to do so when it is abused by requesting multiple deletions and then roll-backs of said deletions - we really have more important things to do. /closed

Captains, since we introduced the new forum themes, many of you have complained about issues with bad readability of forum posts, where players are writing their text in a different color than the default one (for example black or blue when using the dark theme or yellow or light grey when using the light theme). To give you an example of what this can look like: TestTestTestTestTest We have therefore decided to disable the usage of color for all users apart from staff for now. There are still plenty of options to style and structure your text like underlining, italic, bold and different options for headlines, different text sizes and fonts, as well as tables, horizontal lines, spoilers and more. Thank you for your understanding. Action Stations!

Captains, As you know, many of you were experiencing FPS issues following update 0.7.2, especially when playing for several hours. After burning midnight oil for a week, our devs finally managed to track down the bug that caused this and a fix was deployed this morning. Please let us know if this helped you and whether you are still experiencing any FPS issues, especially if this was not the case before update 0.7.2. Thanks for the help - and our apologies for the inconvenience!

Beschreibung Klar und deutliche Beschreibung des Problems Beispiel: Das Aufklärungsflugzeug der Aoba funktioniert nicht mehr. 2. Schritte um den Fehler zu reproduzieren Alle Schritte, die unternommen müssen, um den Fehler zu reproduzieren. Beispiel: 1. Wähle die Aoba aus. 2. Gehe ins Gefecht (Zufallsgefecht). 3. Versuche das Aufklärungsflugzeug zu starten. 3. Ergebnis Was passiert genau im Spiel, wenn der Fehler auftritt? Beispiel: Wenn man den Button drückt, um das Aufklärungsflugzeug zu starten, wird nur ein Sound abgespielt, aber nichts passiert und das Flugzeug bleibt auf dem Katapult stehen. 4. The scenario sounds way too hypothetical for me to be honest, but in general you miss 100% of the shots you don't take ;) The video is indeed an interesting application that I have not seen in this form yet, I'll make sure to forward it. I do however want to point out that there were far better shots for him to take there that would have likely yielded more than 4,5k damage. -
Glad to hear you say it! We now have a dedicated community team and our devs are a bunch of awesome guys, so things should keep being hunky-dory :P

Premium Ships - Camo "layers" bug - Rust etc removed when camo added.

The lack of rust when having camouflage applied is an intended feature of premium ships, being premium they are "more shiny" I am not sure how feasible it would be to implement a toggle for this, but if there is enough demand I will gladly forward the idea to our devs! -
Stealth changes wouldn't even work in a game like ours. There is simply too much statistical and subjective evidence for changes to the ships or mechanics to go unnoticed. Many people that got Missouri supported us financially by doing so, screwing them over would be stupid at best. I'll let you guys know when we have some conclusions! ;)
