Update 22:40 (UTC +1) To resolve the issue we will be performing a full server restart at 04:00 UTC with an expected downtime of 30 minutes. If you cannot log in now the full server restart tomorrow morning should resolve that issue. Should you be affected by this, please contact customer support and let us know. We'll look into what we can do for you on Monday when we know the scope of the issue.

We are not willing to disclose the full drop chances and conditions, there is not much more we can say about it. We don't want this to be an incentive to idle in Twitch chat until you have collected the maximum number of containers, its supposed to be an encouragement and reward for those who help and support our streamers and community contributors by watching their streams. Just go watch some stream, there are some really good ones out there! :)

In order to enable players that did not manage to complete last Friday’s daily missions due to the server outage, those specific daily missions will be reactivated again this Friday 14th December. This should let you make up the difference if you would otherwise struggle to obtain Dreadnought. These missions will be active for anyone who did not complete them last week. Players that were stuck in division will also receive a small package of goodies in game from us. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this fault.

You get the new premium time for free once upon release of update 0.7.12, this compensation is only applied if you actually buy Warships premium time on top of any existing Wargaming premium time after 0.7.12. If you however only play World of Warships, then not having the premium account for those games will not affect you at all. We did not want to change the overall pricing and concept so opted for a slightly better bonus unstead.

Captains, As some of you might already have noticed, we have started trialing Twitch drops! What this means is that whenever you spend more than one hour watching a World of Warships Twitch stream, there is a chance that you will be rewarded with a Twitch container in game! To participate in this trial, you need to link your Twitch account to your Wargaming account: Log into your account Go to your Account Management Page Link your Twitch Account (Right hand side) So join us this weekend on Twitch for the King of the Sea finals and you might just get lucky! As we have received quite a few questions about how the drops work and when one can expect them, let me try to answer them with a quick FAQ. Upon linking your account for the first time, you will receive one container, it may take some time for this to appear in your port (this is due to the delay in API's between Twitch and WoWS) - If you do not receive the container within 24 hours, ensure you are linked correctly (You should have the Twitch Achievement) then contact Customer Support through the Ticket System. You will not get additional containers for unlinking and relinking accounts. You must be signed in to Twitch with your linked account and watching any World of Warships streamer (Does not need to be the official channel, the streamer just needs to have drops enabled - not sure? ask the streamer you're watching), to have a CHANCE to receive Twitch Containers. Every hour you have a CHANCE to earn a container, if you do not receive a container, your chance will be increased the next hour. Twitch Containers are automatically granted via the system. Drop rates have been adjusted since the previous soft launch trial period, they were intentionally higher during this period to gauge how the system worked and the interest in players for this. The Twitch Prime Port was a limited time offer during the Twitch Prime promotion, linking your account will not grant you this port. We will be monitoring the feedback from Containers and reviewing rates as well as contents going forward. Please let me know should you have any more questions!

The issue should be resolved with the restart in a few hours, but we won't be able to decide about potential compensation until Monday.

Log-ins should be working again. If you are stuck in division the full server restart tomorrow morning should resolve that issue. Please watch the portal for all news regarding PTS sessions, as the final date is usually subject to change until just prior to the test.

Those will be released prior to 0.7.12, it is not finalized yet. The values on PTS should always be treated as placeholders, as we are really just interested in testing the mechanics.

While we do check them for game breaking issues, sometimes things slip through as we do not make them ourself. Glad we could help! :)

We've had reports from some players that modifications can make the banner not show up - please remove the mods temporarily and check if it helps!

Unfortunately our hands are tied in this regard, we are bound by local regulations which mean that we cannot offer the containers in Belgium. This is due to the way we handed out the containers to the contributors, crediting 60 at once from 3 different types, rather than purchasing the packs separately from the premium shop. They were just opened back to front. Ships are never downgraded. The way it works is: You get lucky and a ship is dropped You don't have the ship -> ship is added to your port You have the ship -> the system checks if you have all the other Santa ships You don't have all the Santa ships -> one of the Santa ships is chosen and added to your port You have all the Santa ships -> the system switches to the super container ships (all possible ships that can drop from a super container) You don't have all the supercontainer ships -> the system chooses a ship and adds it to your port You have all the supercontainer ships -> the system gives you the doubloon value, port slot and captain of the ship originally contained in the container. I hope that makes sense :)
