Not a stupid question and yes, it will give you the full 14 days regardless of when you activate it. We wanted to give some flexibility as we know people are impacted by the situation differently and starting from different times. Stay safe guys!

I don't think implementing a new class of ships with entirely new models for a set of limited game modes is a great use of resources to be honest. Sorry :)

The change was to address complaints from players that still had these camos kicking around and wanted to apply them to their CVs. I'm sure the camos will be for sale again at some point in the future, but I'm not sure when. I'll pass on the feedback!

I'm sorry that you didn't manage to make it, that is indeed very frustrating. You do need to understand that we will want people to play quite a bit to obtain a free Premium ship, but I still maintain that the level of grind needed, as well as the time investment was quite moderate this time around. When it comes to the rewards for completing individual missions you need to understand why the reward is small. When we set this up we have the choice of giving more rewards for completing stages, or more rewards for intermediate missions, if we load both of them quite heavily we would need to make the missions longer or more demanding to keep the economy in check. But your feedback has been noted, thanks for letting me know. -

We actually sat down and tested Atlanta specifically on PT to have a look at how she does, my recommendation is to give her a try without IFHE and going full into fire chance. Regarding the base fire chance in the client, you need to remember that ships also have a base fire resistance connected to their tier and you may have also gotten unlucky. Use the chance for the free respec this weekend and experiment. And should we see a decline in her overall performance, we will show her some love, as one of the first ever premiums she certainly deserves it! -
I share my opinions often, but it always depends on the topic and context whether that is something I want to do. News articles and the respective buttons are available in game :) We have multiple open lines of communication to our CCs, so I don't see why that would be happening. Anyone, including Steam players, can participate in public test. In either case you will have to download a new client and use a different account, so just install our launcher and you are good to go. Instructions can be found here: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/content/pt-guide/ I'll pass the feecback on the button on. As with all changes made to test ships: For balancing reasons and to test. For more details you will have to wait until closer to release. Sorry, those questions I cannot answer.

No, I see that there is a thread with the usual suspect being angry about a perceived slight. If I see that the playerbase in general is angry and thinks that additional resets are needed, I will certainly bring the topic up internally. But I don't think we need to be discussing additional resets while the first reset is still ongoing and before we know if something like that is needed in any way.

Let me jump in here and try to provide a bit of context and clarity. Firstly a PSA: The more toxic, insulting and aggressive a thread is, the less likely it is that we will show and and talk to you guys. Even if we don't agree on things, please try to remain civil if you expect us to answer your questions. To address the main things: You announced details on this change to close to the update. There have been numerous announcements and updates on the dev blog, streams, videos by contributors and a portal article detailing the changes in depth. While I am sure that there are quite a lot of players who did not see all of this information, I doubt this applies to the people in this thread. In addition you had the chance to look at the changes yourself on the public test server. I know the scope of the changes seems daunting with the number of ships it affects, but the changes are well explained and work as they are intended to, you can easily look at a ship now and know how IFHE will affect what its shells do to the ships you will be meeting in battle. If you don't feel like reading, @StatsBloke did a great job summarizing everything here: Why not more testing on the test server As you are surely aware, the usefulness of the data that we can get on the test server is limited both by the amount of players who are active there and the fact that people play differently and on different ships. We are confident that the changes will work well and while there will likely be some tweaks needed to individual ships, things should overall be entirely fine. Tweaks will be made quickly where we see a necessity. Not enough time to reset While the time to reset could have been longer, the advantage and disadvantage of IFHE should be clear to everyone. If you want, you can simply go and reset all of your captains now and then respec them bit by bit when you have a feeling for how the changes affect things. BUT your old builds will still work and still be effective, so even if you do not make the change, you will be fine. For example. IF we see that there is a big need and demand for this, it is certainly a possibility. But right now I don't think it will be needed in any case. I would have come earlier, but was busy with other things :)

We'll see how this option works, please let us know what you think when it is live. There will be more information soon, but even without coming to any of our streams you should be fine, but I would recommend coming anyway ;) Free to play users will be able to get a lot of rewards in the coming update, of course some may end up being more lucky with the token drops than others, but I still think it will average out in the end if you get all of the available ones. -
With the release of update 0.9.1 we will be updating upgrades. The following are changes from the previously posted devblog. Torpedo Lookout System (slot #5): Removed the bonus that gave +5% to the ship's torpedo protection. Damage Control System Modification 1 (slot #2): Removed the bonus that gave +2% to the ship's torpedo protection. We decided to remove bonuses to ship torpedo protection, as it could lead to excessive efficiency of these upgrades. Please note that the information in the Development Blog is preliminary and subject to change.

First of all let me address the main topic: The random amount of tokens in EU DD Containers. As you may have seen over the past few updates and arcs we have tried different options to get early access ships and event currencies, both to see what works and to keep things a little different and interesting. If you actively play and participate in some of our streaming activities (SPOILER ALERT ) you will be able to get a significant amount of containers for free, which will guarantee that you will be able to get the tier V ship and if you collect all of the containers even more. I consider this a better solution than last update's solution where you could get unlucky and end up with no ships. Whether or not the amount of tokens is random doesn't really matter much with the amount of containers available, the amount gained from the containers will average out. I'll make sure that we look into that specific ticket, unfortunately our agents are just human and fallible. Regarding PTS: The entire purpose of PTS is not to test new ships, but to make sure the client is stable and no major bugs managed to make it passed our internal QA processes and the super-testers. We have given out some very nice rewards for helping with the PTS tests, but we don't want to turn it into a ship-testing ground. This. If you need an urgent answer to a question, support is your port of call. Unfortunately we sometimes have a lot going on here (we moved offices Monday) which means that our forum responses can be a little slower at times. -
Critical Bug | Spotter plane position and extended view range

Sorry for the delay guys, we've had a busy few days. Let me just jump in and clarify: The fact that the plane stays in one place when being launched is indeed a bug, the fact that the plane extends your view range during a cyclone is not a bug and working as intended. -
The ship has a hard-cap of 21.3km due to the shell ballistics and their initial muzzle velocity, this cannot be exceeded even if you stack the bonuses up. Working as intended :)

We are not planning and additional coupon reset and Jean Bart will also leave the premium shop at the same time.

The issue is not only the fact that there are problematic ships, but also that the skill was effectively mandatory for a vast amount of ships. We want to turn it into a choice rather than something that will flat-out make you better. It is still a useful skill, but it now also has appropriate drawbacks. The tree already has ships from some other nations and will receive more in future, we simply started with a mostly Swedish tree to provide logical progression and consistent gameplay throughout the tiers. Mogami has the armour buff as she is ultimately a heavy cruiser, albeit with a light cruiser option. You can of course check this yourself on the PT server, which is up since last night.
