Due to an issue that we had with some players getting kicked from the server, we have initiated a rolling soft-restart of the cluster. This means that you might be seeing a message about being transferred to another server. We hope that this will prevent any further issues from cropping up today. We apologize for the inconvenience!

The mod only provides additional information, you still have to figure out where to aim yourself and take the shot. If it just put an "X" on the screen and said "click here" then it would not be OK. In general you can assume that any mod included in this official pack has been vetted by the devs and is OK to use!

Because the rewards are tied to other conditions and are not the same for everyone we cannot use the regular missions system as we are doing it for the day of premium and the anniversary camouflages.

This should no longer change. The system that we use to run these special missions seems to need s first battle to activate and then the second battle to trigger the crediting. As I am not a programmer I am not sure of the exact reason behind this. Definitely not something we are happy about, but it is to late to change it so shortly before the event. This change should affect all clusters as it is a problem with the software we all share.

Unfortunately we need to announce a few small changes regarding our 2nd Anniversary giveaway event! Due to some technical limitations that we uncovered with the release of 0.6.10 on other clusters, the following changes needed to be made: The prize campaigns will start on 15/09 instead of 14/09 To get the goodies you need to play 2 battles on any tier I-IX ship instead of 1. To get the supercontainers for playing on tier 10, you need to play 2 battles per ship, instead of 1. All other giveaways and rewards will stay available under the same conditions as announced on the portal. We apologize for the inconvenience this has created and hope you will enjoy our anniversary celebrations nonetheless.

Why don't we hold off on the pitchforks until the ships have finished being tested... The British BB's are in the final phase of testing and might very well still change based on how they perform now. I've played quite a few games in the Conqueror and find her loads of fun. She is definitely strong, but I am not good enough a player to tell if she is too good. Statistics will tell.

Captains, As originally announced in our May Calendar, we are planning to bring you a new version of the forums. While the May deadline didn't work out in the end, we're more than happy to announce that it is finally here, coming on June 14th to a forum near you! Please note that the World of Warships forum will be down on June 26th from 09:00 to 11:00 CEST (UTC+2) to facilitate the update. What improvements are coming? Improved Search With better parameters, the search function should now only take the forums you can visit into account, making the search faster and more useful than ever. You will also be able to filter for Private Messages. Activity Streams In the updated forum, you will be able to track all activity much easier. These streams can be customized according to your wishes - do you want to only see your posts? Posts in the Mod section? Kandly's posts? No problem! Files In the current forum version, a player can have a total of up to 500 KB of attachments. This sometimes prevented users from attaching more “heavy” screenshots to their messages. This problem will be resolved in the new forum version: there will be no limits for the total size of all attachments. You will be able to share replays, screenshots, mods, and other materials easily without having to use use external services. A limit of 50 MB for each upload will however still be in place. Sorry, this cannot be helped for now! Calendars The new forum will introduce a calendar function. In a similar format to other online calendars, this feature will allow you to follow community events and news! Mentions Do you want to address another player directly / notify them when you reply? Easy - just use @ to "mention" a player in your post and he / she will receive a notification! Using Assets from External Websites Using assets from external sources - YouTube, various image sharing sites, Reddit and so on - will become significantly easier. Just copy and paste the link and the forum will do the rest! Staff Replies window In the current forum version, we often face a situation when a developer is engaged in a discussion in one of the forum topics and the Staff Replies window only shows the replies of this member. In the new version, even if a staff member has replied several times, this window will only show one of his replies. If another staff member posts anything, this window will display one message from each. Questions The forum upgrade will also bring the Questions function. This will be especially useful for Newcomers, game guides and tech issues. This function will allow you to rate the questions' usefulness, making sure the relevant replies will be seen and will help other players! Action Stations!

To pass the time leading up to our next King of the Sea tournament, we decided to hold a small fun clan tournament together with our colleagues from the CIS region. It is going to be radically different and will serve as a fun experiment and test of the format. Tournament name - "4x4" Important features of this tournament: The tournament is held in 4x4 format. Each team has 4 main + 1 spare players. Tier 8 The tournament will be attended by 16 teams from the RU server side and 16 from EU server side Clans from each server can be represented by only one team. If there are not enough teams, the clans will be allowed to add another team. The tournament has 16 slots for EU teams, 12 of which will be given out by random draw after the registration period. Only complete applications with at least 4 players and a team name will be considered. (read the requirements in the Regulations) 4 slots are reserved for the King of the Sea semi-finalists, should they wish to participate. Games will be played on weekends (July 15-16, July 22-23). The Grand Final will be held on Wednesday (26.07) in the evening. To ensure fair and equal conditions, all participants will play on tournament accounts. Registration starts today. End of registration is 11/07/2017 (23:59 CEST). Battles will be held on the RU cluster. Sign up here (read the rules first!) All other details can be found in the detailed regulations.

In this case each group of 30 players is its own separate clan. We will check that all players are in the same before accepting their application. - That's a very good question, I'll discuss it with my colleagues and let you know.
