was unsure where to post this so i posted here, feel free to move it to the correct place is this was a mistake. so i have been trying to reset my password for 2 days after i got really drunk and changed my password, and no i cant remember it. but i am not receiving the email and i have checked whether or not i had blocked wargamings mail's but that wasn't the case, is their password reset broken? i have also written a ticket without any reply for 2 days now as well. any help would be greatly appreciated! forgot to add, the only reason i can post here because i was somehow auto logged in on me opening the page

if you are still having the problem, request a temoporary password from them, that was the only way for me to get my account back Edit: you should send a screenshot of your last 3 payments to wargaming in the ticket, it is necessary for them to believe its your account

well, thing is i've tried for almost a week with recover account/reset password and i am simply not receiving the email. so obviously something is wrong here. and i've checked that the wargaming email isnt blocked and even added it to safe sender etc but no luck

there is a limit how much you can buff everything before everything is way too strong....and when that happens the fun disappears. there must always be nerfs in every pvp game or crap will get out of hand real fast. take world of warcraft for example, it ended up with everyone just going around 1 shotting eachother. they actually had to release an expansion that downscaled everything because everything was simply too strong. tho i do agree there is a limit to how much you can nerf things before it ruins the fun, but the same also goes for the opposite side of the scale.

when firing at long range you must always spread your torpedoes to account for them dodging at least the first set, i still fire them with the tight spread option and just shoot 1 at the lead indicator 1 slightly in front and one slightly behind, there is pretty much an 80% chance that at least 1 torpedo will hit, and even 1 torpedo hurts... alot. you just need to take whatever damage you possibly can to get the very high damage ones, and the torp reload is more than fast enough to keep sending them constantly. i will admit that skilled battleship captains are a lot harder to hit but it's still a hell of a lot easier than hitting cruisers or destroyers with torps of course it is more lethal, it's 3 tiers higher than most of what i was facing, i have met them quite a few times. but the warspites firepower doesn't matter whatsoever vs the minekaze, the only thing that is dangerous for minekaze is planes spotting you, or other japanese destroyers suddenly showing up at really short ranges. but then again that's what you have your smoke for. i have sadly sold my minekaze to afford the Fuso, and i just found out yesterday that you can enable replays by editing the preferences.xml file i might rebuy it later and see if i can't get you some good replays. i am by no means a pro or anything at this game. i've only played for a week, which should reflect how easy playing the IJN destroyer's really is i should have probably said what my exp range my bad or semi bad games go as well, its usually between 600 and 1300 the low end is when i get seriously unlucky at the very start of the game. I.E getting spotted by planes at the start and the planes just keeps following me till it has to return that might be the case but i can't for the life of me get any good games in the american ones, i am more likely than not playing them completely wrong. though i personally feel IJN destroyer's in general are fairly easy to get good games in and i don't think IJN destroyers need a buff, they are more than fine as is now.

sadly i have now sold my minekaze to be able to afford the tier 6 battleship, even though i enjoy using destroyers, i like battleships more and i just found out yesterday that you can enable replays by editing the preferences,xml file i might rebuy it later and see if i can't get you some good replays. A little of topic here but has wargaming made a site for uploading replays? like wotreplays

seem a lot of people here are forgetting that myogi is the most manouverable battleship in the game and it's also the fastest, at least of the non premium ones. don't really know much about the premium ships. but i'm guessing that they aren't faster then the myogi. Battleships in general are seriously easy to hit unless you get spotted, at that point the start turning immidiately... the torpedo spotting range isn't very high, and if you aim them properly with a little spread its almost guaranteed that at least 2 of them will hit, and as tajj7 mentioned it's all about the torp reload. if a few of them miss who cares, you can send more right after your first set of torps reach them. i should probably add that hitting fast cruisers from a distance is mostly up to luck and the awareness of the cruiser you're shooting at. but then again you really shouldn't actively mess around with the ships that are specifically made to kill you, unless a golden opportunity presents itself. and as people here say it is very good at sealclubbing, but its capable of so much more. if you play in a high tier game things do get a little more difficult, you will need to plan way more ahead and really pick your targets well. one wrong move and you're probably dead. my average exp in the minekaze is almost 1400exp. my good games vary from 2100-2800exp and i mostly get tier 5-7 games more often than not on the high end. USN destroyers straight out sucks compared to the IJN, worse camo, worse torps, slower and less manouverable. the only thing they got going for them is the guns which really aren't that impressive. in terms of balance between the 2 nations IJN is completely broken. they either need to nerf IJN destroyers or buff USN destroyers

well, what tier you play against doesn't matter whatsoever in this ship. you wont get detected before you get to fire your torps...... and ALL battleships are slow and slow turning. so the fact that they are tier 3 doesn't matter whatsoever, the only thing that would change is the fact that i would have gotten more damage if they were higher tier. destroyers vs cruisers is not a good idea, unless you get the ambush on them and torp them from like 4km range. hunting slow lumbering battleships with torps is what destroyers are best at. if you're focusing cruisers from the start of the game you sir are doing it wrong. one of the 2 ships you cant see was a murmansk, which has plenty of speed and turning speed so your point is invalid. cruisers job is screening battleships from destroyers and AA, so goes without saying that cruisers generally are destroyer hunters. so on that note, hunting the ships that have the easiest time killing you is not a good idea. i have also gotten similar games "2600+exp" in tier 6-7 matches. don't have screenshots tho so it's your choice whether or not you choose to believe me on that. tier's makes absolutely no difference in this ship, just because of the single fact that you cannot get spotted unless you get within 6.1km range or 3.1km from air and that your torpedoes has 10km range. it's really not hard to tell from those stats alone how easy it is to play this ship.

this ship really needs to get nerfed or something.... no challenge whatsoever to get games like this. keep in mind that this is 3X exp and i have premium, but its still a 2800 base exp game
