I find that while the game is a very commentable and novel effort, there are a lot of realism issues to be taken into acount:
1. Ship crushing on terrain are just slowed down instantly, with no other consequences... Ships that ran aground cannot always float on their own and get out. I believe that terrain-ship mechanics need to be revised.
2. The impact pistols of shells and torpedoes never seem to fail which is also inaccurate.
3. The damage model of ships is far removed from reality. Ships should only have modules that can be damaged (either destroyed or reduced function options) and the game should end only when the ship is sunk. Somebdoy could also beach his ship and use it as a floating battery until all guns are out of action. Moreover as a ship is floating it should be visibly settling lower in the water and slowin down.
More such suggestions can be made but I am anxious to see your opinions on this
