I've only had a couple of games last night after the patch, and hopefully it will settle down a bit so initial observations
1) The whole game feels a lot more laggy (still running a 60FPS with a 30ms ping), but feels slower, especially when playing as a destroyer, just not as nimble any more.
2) The matchmaker is currently flooded with Carriers - new patch problem i hope
3) The only game I played as a carrier was almost completely devoid of fun / skill - admittedly it was lower tier but you line up for an attack then press the button - that's about it.
Overall very underwhelmed and doesn't actually feel any better in *any* respect.
