spoiler alert for all you honored adversaries
from a seasoned midway and hak driver controling all squadrons individually ...(yes, even on the hak ...)
- there is now more delay between selecting a squadron and giving it orders
this involves selecting all squadrons sequentially with number keys and clicking on the tactical maps for giving orders within 1 or 2 seconds
If I want to reroute my entire wing quickly due to flying into fighters or AA more squadrons get left behind,
this screws up planning awfully
and fast reactions of entire wings are now out of the question due to an implemented delay of about half a second between selecting and giving orders
giving the order before the delay results in squadrons simply not executing them
- I had my tactical map under my right mouse button but I can't seem to get it back there while driving my carriers , for all other ships it works fine now ....
this one is essential as having your fire button and manual attack button on 1 hand just does not work., it screws up timing in full attack wing sequential manual attack ordering
Long training on your controls is very very important for playing at this level and being able to rely on fast selecting and ordering is imperative .
I'll get by , but I'll have to go back to hiryu and ranger for retraining controls which will take me considerable time of intensive gameplay way below the level I've worked hard to reach.
So is this an improvement of controls for my personal situation ?
