If your skill is anything like your posts here, I would say your stats are probably a pretty accurate representation. I get a good laugh out of reading threads like these.

worst patch ever: APs/dispersion/smoke bug/disapearing shells/balance
Mayv replied to celeb2k's topic in General Discussion
Had a game in the Farragut, 2011 base xp, less than 10k damage total, 2 base captures and 3 assisted base captures. Love the new base capture rewards. -
worst patch ever: APs/dispersion/smoke bug/disapearing shells/balance
Mayv replied to celeb2k's topic in General Discussion
The Fletcher always had the Mk16 torpedoes with 10.5km range, only its stock torpedoes were changed. However the Benson and Mahan both got torpedoes more comparable to their IJN counterparts and all 3 (Mahan, Benson and Fletcher) received a rate of fire buff from 13.33 to 18 rpm. I don't understand why they buffed both the torpedoes and guns of USN DDs. -
That has always been the case. You will automatically detect any ship within 2km, regardless of smoke or islands, sonar increases this range.
-
I know WG patch notes are far from complete, but they have speed changes for 2 of the russian dds in them. A nerf to a whole line of ships seems a bit to big to be missing.
-
What??!? Nearly a whole knot knock off Fubukis top speed!? She was already on the slower side of DDs to begin with. Why wasn't this in the patch notes? Have the speeds of other DDs been changed?
-
Its not in the patch notes but was the case on the test server. The Farragut now has 6.4km torps, the Mahan and Benson 9.2km

High tier IJN destroyer gameplay, pure RNG
Mayv replied to fallenmemories's topic in General Discussion
After 250 games in the Fubuki alone I understand this, but unless they start rewarding for this, why shouldnt they buff IJN DDs? A major buff isnt needed currently IJN DDs can preform well, but USN DDs look to be gaining a lot of power with this patch. At least remove aerial spotting of torpedoes, since torpedoes cannot return to being invisible. BBs can just take vigilance if they are having trouble with torpedoes, in the same way that DDS can take Last Stand if they are having trouble with engines being knocked out. -
Standard mode was the mode where capping rewarded points. This was replaced with the two point domination game mode due to players complaining about draws. In the next patch capping points in domination will reward xp and the zone game mode will be introduced, which is centered around capping.

I think the rewards will be given out at the end of the event.

High tier IJN destroyer gameplay, pure RNG

Where did anyone say they want all their torpedoes to hit? Torpedoes have the lowest hit percentage in the game at less than 10%. DDs are generally at the bottom of the table for average damage past t5. This is forum whining in the same way that nearly every BB captain comes to complain about their RNG accuracy, even though BB are the second highest class by average damage? That's the damage on paper, just like the damage on paper for an AP shell is for a citadel hit. The increased torpedo defenses at high tiers and taking a torpedo on the bow of your ship reduces the damage done by at least 50%. Your torpedoes are less like to cause flooding as well. With USN DDs getting a torpedo buff so that the can start stealth launching from t7 (t6 will be pretty close with camp equipped) I think IJN DDs should get their buff as well. I think a reduction in IJN torpedo detection range (especially since vigilance is being buffed to 25%), removal of torpedo spotting by planes for all torpedoes, and a gun turn speed and/or rate of fire buff. -
Ships are split into 4(?) damage sections for torpedoes. Each section has a separate HP pool. When the HP pool of a sections is depleted it will no longer take torpedo damage. This is what likely happened.
-
Fubuki, the highlight of the IJN DD tree so far for me. 3x3 15km torpedoes Good guns 3x2 127mm (now with 3km to stealth fire) Stealthy (5.5km) Only bad thing is that she is a bit slow (35.8knots)

The smoke screen in this game works by producing a sphere (radius 450m I think) of smoke every 5 seconds while the smoke screen consumable is active. the his is why you can be detected periodically when laying smoke and moving at full speed.

Freecam in Spectator Mode, why doesn't this game have one?
Mayv replied to WhiskeyWolf's topic in General Discussion
Pressing cntrl + shift + backspace enables a free camera. It can be activated in game as well but you can only see ships that your ship or the one you are currently spectating can see. -
Sorry, my comments weren't directed at you but at jinx_uk who was saying players who bought the Fujin lacked sense and discipline, even though he has most bought a fair few premiums himself.
-
I couldn't care if you had every premium, but I don't think you should be calling out others for buying them, if you have bought them yourself.
-
Nice to hear this coming from a player with the Sims, Murmansk, Atlanta, Atago, and Tirpitz. You sure have demonstrated some self-discipline in the past.

Again isn't the only thing to do in Dota is win the game? (Haven't really played it) The rewards CAs would get for providing AA support is minimal. It doesn't help that CVs only use their fighters as escorts for their attack groups. If the reward system is reworked to promote team play and perhaps a limit on the number of capital ships in a game (maybe 4) you might actually see players work together.
-
You are more than likely against people who haven't reached the high tiers on the live server, so their knowledge of high tier gameplay may be lacking.
-
They are changing the stats of the Mk15 torpedo to 9.2km range and 55knot speed as well.
-
But isn't the only objective in Dota to win the game? If you want to earn a decent amount of xp you are required this abandon the notion of supporting your team mates. Its not just a balance problem but a reward problem as well.

Demolition expert is additive. If you have 5% fire chance with DE you have 8%. Fire prevention skill is multiplicative.
-
When did you ask for help? Sorry I must have missed that. I have only seen you complaining.
