    Started off reasonable asking about BB torpedo tubes, (submerged tubes won't be added in game) but then goes on about "OP" DDs.
  5. I have played games where there have been 3 or less DDs aside, it doesnt change anything. I rarely have been in games with more than 4 aside, and have been wondering how everyone seems to run into 10-12 DD games consistently. One game for example there was me in the Fletcher and a Hatsuharu on one team against 2 Fubukis on the other. I killed one of the Fubukis in the first few minutes. The friendly Hatsuharu died not to much longer after. Both teams actually retreated back away from each other. The game finished after 20 minutes with a good few ships on both sides still alive. Apart from my engagement with the Hatsuharu it was the most boring game I have played. And I am sure the BBs and CAs on my team enjoyed taking shots at each other from their starting locations. You can blame invisible DDs and Shimakaze torpedo walls for the cowardice at high tiers. Before it was CVs. Next it might be something like no pushes because all BBs sit bow on to each other alternating between 1/4 speed and reverse, and pushing up means someone will have your broadside. I think it is a player problem, "Why would I push up and take a risk, when I can wait for them here with the rest of my team?"

  7. T8-10 RU CAs dont have the option of fighter/spotter planes, and have Radar instead. Assuming that it will be the same slot for USN CAs.

    Sounds like your planes are getting strafed. Solution: don't have your planes in one big group.

    Help reduce turret destruction. Oh yes please. Buff to RU DDs. More Yes. Rework IJN DDs. I would take a gun buff for a torpedo nerf.

    Was definitely a case of me sucking at the game and being a noob back then. Probably would do better in the Mutsuki and Hatsuharu now, but my memories of them are horrible. I actually liked the Mahan and Farragut (Mahan not as much as the rest of the ships). I have since bought back the Farragut to train up another USN DD captain for the Gearing.

    A lot of my games in the Fubuki are back from the OBT, when CVs were OP and didnt have mirror MM. It was also before the torpedo stealth buff and changes to the rudder shift time. But above all else I was still learning. How about my stats from the last 3 months (86 days) in both ships, a more fair comparison. Battles Win-rate Average damage Average XP Ship kills Plane kills Survival rate Benson 8 DD USA 105 70% 52,916 2,126 1.25 0.45 70% Fubuki 8 DD Japan 31 61% 53,804 2,132 0.97 0.03 65% These dont show much difference between the 2 ships. Maybe you should learn how to play.

  14. It is a 45% increase in the detection range of torpedoes when using both the module and vigilance. Hydro-acoustic search sets the detection range so it isnt affected.

    Just saying a ship is OP doesnt make it so, at least try and say why. But I guess you have trouble dealing with Bensons in your Fubuki. Didnt you also make a thread about the Benson being OP in ranked battles a while ago?

    Pretty sure IJN were the only nation to carry torpedo reloads. The other just had what was in the tubes.

    I use the 15km 57knot torpedoes without torpedo acceleration. But I seem to be the one in the minority.

    That 1 in 50 includes all ships (possibly even CVs), so it is inaccurate for DDs. Couldnt finish a game in my Blyskawica the other day with more than 2 of my 4 turrets.

There was a similar bug last patch (not sure if they fixed it yet) where when you had Superintendent on your captain giving you +1 consumable (3 smoke for example) and then hovered over it again it would say that you would have another +1 (4 smoke). Some of the port numbers seem to be taken the current value as the base value and applying changes to it rather than the actual base value.

    I would still go with Demo and Concealment on the Benson and Fletcher, likely the same on the Gearing when I get it.
  23. There are two likely reasons your credits earned (assuming that is the total earned) is different. 1. It isnt damage but percentage damage. Doing 5k damage to a T4 BB is about 12.5% of their HP while doing the same to a DD is 50% of their HP. So doing damage to lower max HP targets earns more. 2. Doing damage to higher tiered ships than your own have a positive multiplier, and doing damage to ships of a lower tier has a negative multiplier. In the second game you might have been doing more damage to DDs, that were equal tier to you. Than doing more damage to BBs and lower tiered ships in the first game

    Try asking in the modding section, or one of the modders there. They will probably be able to tell you what files to change.
  25. The credit and experience you get are based on the percentage damage done to the enemy ship. So there is your kill assist reward. It is damage more than kills (and winrate) that is important in this game stats wise.
