They are making steps to discourage it in WoT now. -
It is the first USN DD that can stealth torpedo. Which is the biggest thong going for it over the Farragut. It is the lowest point in the USN DD line, but then the rest of the USN DDs are very good ships.

How many games do you have in the Mahan? Your win rate can change a lot if you have a low number of games. (and the Mahan isnt terrible, average I would say.)

I dont think I will complain about WoWS teams after going back and playing WoT.

I have seen CV players get 8 or 9, before the CV nerf and MM changes. 10 wouldnt have been surprising then.

I havent played when DDs had citadels, but that seems like a huge nerf to survivability. And what would be changed on CAs and BBs since they would benefit from Detonations being removed as well?

I have been detonated 29 times, once every 69 games, or 1.44% of the games I have played. Considering the fact that I have used up nearly all of my stock of over 400 Juliet Charlie signals recently, has reduced that frequency a bit. Yes, I will bounce that shell with the 20mm of armour my DD has. Why didnt I think of that?

Doenst the Zao have these guns as secondaries? WG will put in something themselves. I dont think the 127mm IJN guns had an AP round, but they do in game. -

The Albany was given away for free at the last WG anniversary. The Tachibana was given away with the October issue of PC gamer. The other two haven't been available previously -
USN DDs have both good guns and torpedoes since the changes made. The Mahan and up can stealth torpedo. I guess since the Sims got a new set of torpedoes a patch or two before the USN DD torpedo rebalance it was left out of it.

They might have had it on the test server then. But it was removed since then if they did. It is considered too strong for the RU DDs.

I have had the opposite experience. The BBs on my team seem all to happy to shoot an angled Yamato, instead of the CAs beside it. -
Didnt you hear that Ap has been nerfed every second patch and BB dispersion nerfed every third patch? Now BBs are lucky to land a hit and when they do 97% if them are over pens.
