The "You have not proven yourself" is from a mod. One of the team panel ones, I think.

Those torpedoes go at 48knots. The +5knots for torpedo acceleration brings it to 53knots. The skill is being applied correctly.

I have played a few games in it. The guns are terrible. Low RoF and a max of 2 on a target at any given time. The torpedoes are good. Just under 12k damage at makes them the strongest at the tier. And the longest ranged at 7.5km. Reload isnt bad. A bit awkward only having the one triple launcher a side. Quite fast at 35knots. Good rudder shift time and small turning circle. Does well as a torpedo boat. Not great, but not bad either. A bit different to other ships at the tier.

I havent noticed much of a difference, playing tier 7+ mainly.

Are you sure it isnt by using standard consumables on your high tier ships?

Yes. Hydro is against Defensive Fire and Radar is against spotter/catapult fighter.

Capping a contested cap in RU DDs isnt a good idea. They play like CLs. Your concealment is poor, other DDs will spot you way before you can spot them. You dont turn too well which can make getting out of some caps quite difficult. I sometimes try to cap one of the more open caps at the start of the game.However if I get spotted I leave the cap.

So now that DDs are no longer the majority in high tier games, the games are so much more aggressive. Wait that doesn't sound right, they are as passive as before 0.5.5 and as before the CV nerfs as well. I always thought that BBs were the problem at high tiers.

Have premium consumables and camo been added to post battle results? They are resupplied separately when you return to port IIRC.

What OP Benson? Can you give us any reasons as to why you think it is OP? The Benson is an all round ship. The Fubuki focuses on torpedoes (and the least affected by the recent changes). The Tashkent focuses on guns. I would say the Fubuki is the highlight of the post Minekaze IJN DDs.

Can I claim to be an expert? The Benson is not over powered. The Fubuki is not under powered. The Fubuki torpedoes received no changes last patch, but received a new option. The Fubuki wont be affected much by this patch either. Kagero and Shimakaze are another story.
