Yes. The Yamato torpedo belt will reduce the damage taking by torpedoes by 55%. Most of the time I hit a Yamato with torpedoes I get damage numbers between 8k-10k.

So there isnt anything official. Going by this post, we have had 4 sets of weekly missions and 3 of the 100k xp. Giving a total of 980 diamonds available. The max according to Ph3lan here is 1000 diamonds from missions. One more reset of the 100k xp mission would give 20 diamonds bring the total to 1000 diamonds. But maybe I have no idea what I am talking about.
