Get a higher resolution monitor? Try changing the resolution in the preferences file.

A Zao can have a detection range somewhere around 9.6km. I wouldnt want to be out spotted by a Zao with those railguns and monsterous HE shells.

I curious what it would be like if all CVs were balanced like the Saipan. Apart from the 8 plane DB squad. Less damage in the air at any given time, but planes have a quicker turn around.

I'd prefer it. Unless it is RN DDs.

HE shells have a splash radius. With the low armour of a DD this can cause module damage. I have even seen detonations happen this way.

Where would you put the Udaloi then? It fits in well at tier 9.

Forgot to mention that all skills work fully when the captain is in the premium ship and retraining.

You dont need to retrain a captain for a premium ship of the same nation. 1. Retrain your Mogami captain for the Ibuki. 2. Move the now Ibuki captain to Atago or other IJN premium ship. This doesnt require retraining. And all skills work fully. 3. Earn the xp on the Atago until the captain is fully retrained for the Ibuki. 4. Move the captain back to the Ibuki and play with a fully retrained captain.

I do spend doubloons to retrain my captains. I sometimes use my free xp to unlock modules from the start. Buy upgrades on the high tier ships.

I cant remember what HP value the Kiev had when it was first introduced, but it was nerfed shortly after. Along with reduced fire chance (and HE damage?) for all of the 130mm guns. The Kiev had somewhere around a 60% average win rate before being nerfed and is still strong. It wouldnt be balanced with 17000HP. The Udaloi also has less HP than the Tashkent.

Maybe some players are focusing on shooting the enemy ship or dodging enemy torpedoes or shells, assuming their teammates wouldnt try and torpedo them?

Actually they might sell it again. "The designers are unsure whether to release the Gremyashchy because of markedly different performance of this ship on different servers (some people actually manage to suck in it). Perhaps this ship will not be sold continuously, but be made available during a major seasonal or thematic event." So I might get my hands on the totally balanced RU DD sometime in the future.

They have said they never plan to sell the Nikolai again. The Gremy may be sold in limited time offers in the future.
