The only thing the Shimakaze has over the Gearing is being able to put 15 torpedoes in the water at once. WG nerfed the only thing the Shimakaze was good at. It was a one trick pony before the nerf, and now it has a broken leg.

Looks like the Shimakaze will be a port queen for a while longer.

Some one on the NA forums did a comparison of the shell flight times of the USN DDs from the CBT and live. They found that the flight times hadnt changed.

Wait until the DBs are nearly over you, turn hard to one side and hope for the best.

Shimakaze isnt worth playing at the moment.

The EU server average damage for the Gearing is 47k, according to warships.today. I have 75k average damage in the Gearing and make a decent credit profit in most of my games.

First please don't use that font again. Second 40k damage isn't that good for a Gearing, unless that is done exclusively to enemy DDs. And your average damage across the board is quite bad. Repair and resupply costs are high at the top tiers. You aren't doing well enough to cover these costs, even with premium. Your options. -Get better. -Get premium if you don't already. -Grind credits with premium/mid tier ships. -Watch your credits disappear.

So has MM been putting you on teams with all good players then?

DD wise it isn't that great.

All planes spot you at your air detection range.

The Khabarovsk is over 50% faster than the Albany.

Because CVs are fast. They had to be for launching planes. There is no point in chasing a CV as an IJN DD. You won't catch them and you won't be sinking them with your guns. Find a better target.

How does someone manage 14k average damage in the Blyskawica and then claim that it is easy mode.

North tends to be very static. Land of Fire seems to heavily favour the north team.
