First of all, for the way you write, I'm thinking you must be an angry teenager, so I will give you an according answer. 1. Did you read the main question here? "Is there anything a BB can do late game against kamikaze?" I'm suggesting to sail close to the border when you are sailing a BB, late in the game, and facing DD's. I'm not suggesting to play like that the whole game. 2. DD's will always go for the kill. having all your guns pointed to the same direction usually gives chance for a full salvo to destroy an enemy DD. Has worked great for me. 3. As you said "Do yourself what ever you want (though preferably not when in same team with me)". I can imagine you spamming the chat noobing all your teammates and not remembering this is a game. Dont sail on a straight line, and also like Akula said:

The "protect you team" strategy only works 10% of the time. You can not trust your team will think like you and will follow the same strategy (platoons solve that, partially). In not so fancy words, do not completelly trust your team. As a BB player, when facing DD's with no support I follow 3 rules: 1. Use your plane 2. Never sail on straight line manner. 3. Try to stay close to borders. (Map edge or large islands, that way you have your guns pointing to one side of your ship only...the same side from where the torps will come.)

Sorry Ectar, but people has their reasons to do not believe in what WG says, or maybe just a couple lines from the whole speech. Back to the main idea here...I do hope to never see a sub in WOWs.

Hi. I looked at the forum and there is one topic about the torpedoes at the Kiev, but the topic is about the damage calculation and not the torps themselves. I was wondering if it's wise to sacrifice speed for damage. The torpedoes have 4 km range so maybe 5 knots are not a big difference. Thanks for your opinions.

I've seen many -2 or maybe -3, but I got 7 games with -4, 4 games with -5 and this lovely -6. Curiously, the maximum advantage I ever had was +3...once. When closed beta was around (despite the CV variety) the MM was never this crappy. WoWs...Sort yourself!

You will never get an objective answer from WG. They advertise the game as realistic and historical but when something in the game is not and you point it out, a member of WG comes and tells you its an arcade and some other reasons of why they did it this way (which is always the opposite of the historical idea). And when the main fleet of ww2 is going to come after one of the smallest, they say its not about the money, but about the region whit more clients (money?). I suggest you to see WG like they see us...Cold eyes and just a bussines relationship.

I have my playlist when I play, but so far the only song that I feel the obligation to play while spamming some shells is "Rule Britannia" in my Warspite. Can not imagine what will happen when the full tech tree is released. In my defence I can state that piratery was promoted by the British crown in order to assault the Spanish colonies (I'm Mexican, there are lots and lots of forts in the Caribbean and are amazing). Also in my defence, I live couple miles from HMNB Clyde, at Scotland (aye), so if I go full pirate the Queen will nuke my [edited]. But I will try to get the song and see how my game improves.
