Nothing like testing the ship yourself. A youtuber can have different habits, different playing style, or different ideas on how to use a ship than yourself. Yes. I'd like to have the chance to try the ship before buying it.

Really? I can't remember reading anything like that in the patch notes. Very interesting for the battleships. Up to now I never used them (because I thought the capability of recovering health faster was a bit meh) so I have quite a number of them ready to use.

Are you not good enough to afford the repair costs of the higher tiers. Then limit yourself to medium tiers. As simple as that. There's the stupid notion that the higher the tier, the better the players, the ships and the gameplay. That's simply not true. Ships are different, gameplay is different and with time even the most retarded player can reach tier 10, but it's not better at all. I'd say mid tiers are funnier, but that's just my opinion.

And that's the reason why I say Cleveland will be crap in tier 8: facing tier 9 and 10 battleships, 150mm and similar guns are useless in its current state. You are exclusively relegated to an escort task. But this is not a question of this patch. It's been like this for months.

Those were the cruisers I remembered. Looked like a decent tier 4 cruiser, until I checked the speed... 21-23 knots

Could someone bring some light on the strengths and weaknesses of the Chinese fleet in the time frame of the game, because I can only remember a couple of small cruisers sunk and recovered by the Japanese.

The surface armament would benefit from a wider arch for torpedo tubes. Apart from that, the main problem with Yubari is being left with no engine or rudder every time it gets hit, not the guns or the torpedoes.

As long as maps in this game are 50kmx50km maximum, CVs should be deleted. They don't belong to this scale.

I wouldn't rate WG's system as "micro-milking".

Current Cleveland already faces tier 8 battleships, and HE shells do almost no damage against them. The buff would have to be huge if you want a light cruiser that performs vs tier8-9-10. I don't think Cleveland could be anything higher than a tier7 if they want a more or less historical ship.

A big thumbs up for the Supertest team, that came to the rescue of the poorly planned event. Thumbs down for... Well, you know who deserve it. Thank god I don't give a damn about flags, but if the possible prize would have been something more profitable, I'd be pretty pissed off.

That "event" is already over, as both the GE cruiser line and the RU destroyer line have been officially released. The prize for getting 4 kills with a Japanese ship was the Königsberg (tier5 GE cruiser), the prize for doing it with a US ship was the Ognevoy (Tier 6 RU destroyer). They were removed from your port after the event was over.

Cheaper than I expected, but still... NO NO NO NO.
