    Graphics Bug/Artifacts in Port

    I have exactly the same effect. And every time I tried to capture it in video, the damn thing was working flawlessly. I have simply used a mod that puts my ship in open sea with no port or islands, and have switched off trees. I think trees must be related, because it all started with the patch that added them. I also tried the latest NVIDIA drivers (GT610 card) but nothing solved.

    I think you overestimate a lot some of the ships in that tree. I would rate Java as a tier 3, Tromp as a tier 4, and De Ruyter as tier 5. Eendracht could make a tier 6. I'd use Flores as a tier 1 (would need a slight buff in speed, but it's tier 1, I don't think anybody would notice), and instead of M.Van Nassau (too slow) I'd use Van Kinsbergen (25 knots), but as a tier 2. Together with Java, Tromp, DeRuyter and Eendracht you could have a decent cruiser line up to tier 6. Put the Battlecruiser at tier 7 BB, and we only need to make up 3 ships up to tier X . Destroyer line could more or less be the same. Using British ships used by the Dutch Navy in (EDIT: and after) WW2, including the Admiraalen Class (tier 4) and the Callenburghs (tier 5), you could reach easily tier 7. Then... imagination to the power!

    disappearing shots

    At the beginning I thought it was lag, but when it happened so often and the lag markers didn't notice anything special, smelled like a bug. Another one in a patch. As usual in a WG game: fix one thing and break another. Next patch they will have it fixed, just to break something else.Things are not properly tested.

    My experience with WoT and WoWs tells me that weekend player base is worse. My experience also tells me that in weekends with special bonus for the 1st victory or some really special events with mission it gets even worse if that's possible. Try to get advantage of it, or don't play if it gets you mad!.
  6. I've had full salvoes of Nürnberg (that is, all 9 shots on target) doing 0 damage to a New Mexico. But quite long ago I reported that my Cleveland had lots of impacts of HE on higher tier battleships that did 0 damage. There's definitely something wrong with 152mm-gunned cruisers HE, because 203mm shells do really make lots of damage.

    They used a few British ships later on in the war (G, M and N classes, Hunt escort destroyers). Still not enough for a full line, unless WG finds some "obscure special project".

  9. Tier 9 battle, bust mostly tier 7-8 ships. 5 kills, because my shots were on low health targets, and all of them lowest tier ships (my equal). The only torpedo hit was an area denial launch that happened to hit a DD that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hardly 30k damage, and my impression at the end of the game was "shitty game". Yet, almost 2000 base XP. WTF?
  10. Here are the screenshots of the battle results. You will have to take my word that it was the 1st victory of the day, since I can't prove it. Perhaps when you check the XP results in the detailed report (3rd screenshot), those reddish stars are the mark that it was the 1st victory as they look the same as in the ship symbols of the port, but multiplier is x1 instead of current x3.
  11. craphappens, and I accidentally torped and sunk a friendly DD at the beginning of the game. Game progresses, and I get a few more legit torpedo hits (was trying to finish the Destroyer mission for the weekend), we win the game and I even end up in the top of the list, get some XP and a lot of credits deducted from my balance because of the team kill. Everything normal up to this point, but my x3 bonus of the 1st victory with Minekaze is not there, and it has disappeared from the ship in the port. Not upset, I find it OK if its a feature, but didn't know this could happen.

    Cleveland Woes

    I use very long distance shooting only against battleships or carriers. Cruisers or destroyers usually only at 10Km or less. And still only a 24% hit ratio. Once I finished unlocking the Pensacola, I only take Cleveland when I need to shoot down planes in one of the daily missions. I don't feel comfortable with the long arch that requires to zoom out to see where my shells are falling.

    Damn it, I used to have a good bunch of those when I played DDs and it was all full of aircraft carriers. Usually they were 100-200XP at maximum...

    I think the problem lies in the number and size of textures that the game loads. Using the 50% textures size mod might help a bit for some loss of quality.
  18. 1500 -2000 base XP is nothing mediocre. Your 3249 are actually 1083 base XP with the x3 multiplier of the 1st victory of the day, which is OKish for a victory.
  19. Not in the current missions. If you take out your destroyer and get 6 torpedo hits, set 3 ships on fire and kill 1 Battleship, only the torpedo hits will count, because missions require the Battleships be sunk with a BB and fires be started with a cruiser. Perhaps when other missions are implemented, multiple mission requirements can be met in only one battle (definitely you can with daily missions) but not in this batch.

    Regularly only cruisers and battleships. Occasionally Isokaze and/or Minekaze to get those daily missions that require torpedo hits.

    For what I read in the NA forum, they were gifted to the players who reached Rank1 in pilot season of Ranked Battles in a similar manner as we were gifted the Königsberg and Ognevoy prior to the launch of the German Cruiser and Destroyer lines, and they'll be taken away when next ranked battles season starts.
