I still want a water-only map... Learn to play in it, just as in any other map.

Just openend WoWs this morning and I see there are new missions. Two of them are from the manga which i'm not interested in, and the other is a Happy New Year mission. Stage 1 is destroy 5 ships. Easy, unless the "complete in a random battle" means they have to be destroyed in a Single game. But I don't think so. But then comes stage 2: sink 15 ships (OK) and shoot down a 100 aircraft... in four days. I don't think I've shot down 100 aircraft in the last month... How do they expect us to fulfill this condition in four days, with tier 3 to 5 ships? Are they mad?

How does it affect you that other people got free XP? Do you complain in the same way every time WG gives a few premium ships away?

Some people have got a New Year gift from WG. In what sense would it benefit me that they lose their presents... none. So why all this noise? Let them have their free XP and keep playing. WG will find a scapegoat and somebody will lose his job for screwing it up. That's all.

Russian and German are discarded, and most probably British too. One of the big French contre-torpilleurs would fit. Possible Italian ships, a Navigatori maybe. Anyway, being a tier 8 will be a 50-60€ bundle, so really doesn't matter too much.

Only pussies play carriers . I'm stuck at 34 planes for the HNY mission, and carriers simply don't show up, and if they do, they ignore me. Only 1 good game with Cleveland, that bagged me 14 planes in a single game. the rest, crap

Isn't that a bit too much? I mean, I have zero interest for anime, that Ars Nova stuff or anything related, and have no intention to make an effort to get the ships, but I don't mind that the missions are there. It hurts nobody

Slower ROF, slower turret traverse... I wouldn't take it for granted.

I bought Mogami and used the x3 XP event to level up its captain together with Yubari and Ishizuchi, which I also bought on discount.

This morning the reward was 1M, now is only 500k... bye bye mission, and WoWs for this weekend.

There's no such thing as "too much" Free XP: You never know what new turds WG will release in their new nations and lines. Use it wisely, it doesn't hurt not to use it if you don't have the need. I only use it to skip stock hulls, which are usually bad, and also in the engine upgrades in the slow US battleships (as if 21 knots top speed was not slow enough).

I've bought Ishizuchi in the Christmas offer (8.30€) and I'm having lots of fun citadeling cruisers left and right. I was a bit scared of the bad comments I had read about it, but it's been a nice ship so far. Has a bit of a bad time in some situations, for example if there's a competent carrier player (due to the bad turn radius), with the longer-ranged tier 5 battleships (you can outrun a NY, but not a Kongo), and the tier 5 cruisers like Königsberg or Omaha, that rain HE on you. But once in range it can give those cruisers a beating. The 305mm guns seem more accurate than Myogi's and, while they won't citadel a Wyoming, they can sure take some health points away from it. I'm really glad I bought it. Together with the Chirstmas x3 XP and Yubari it has helped me retrain my Mogami captain.

I have no problems with someone knowing me from the forums. I've met some forum users and streamers during my WoWs career, and that's perfectly fine for me. He may, or may not, have checked my profile and know if I do well or not. But with that XVM or whatever is called now, any player can know for sure not only my stats but the stats of most of my team, so I may not be a Unicum player, but may be the best in the team sometimes, and then focused accordingly. This is what I want to avoid.

Really? Damn... I'll have to rethink my position about that then... EDIT: Now I've seen that you can let people see your profile through a link. Would this be enough to keep this programs from working with my profile? Don't like being specially targeted because of my numbers.

While no XVM-like app exists, I'll take for granted that anyone hiding his stats is just a terrible player. I keep my profile open for anyone to see, at least while no such software is around.

B hull is 11k XP and Updated propulsion 4k. 15k XP may take you like what, 40-50 games in co-op? Is it really worth it? That's the best use you can find for Free XP.

I've actually done it twice, as I keep two accounts. Super easy to do with cruisers, but not so much if you only have battleships: it's hard to set fires in battleships. % of fire for HE is much higher than in a cruiser shell (30% in New Mexico, 25% in Fuso or Kongo), but for some reason I don't know, you do damage, you destroy AA or secondary turrets, but it's hard to start fires. For future missions, I'd only ask for a large amount of damage done. Asking for kills promotes kill stealing, and fire is too RNG dependant.

My complaint is not about team composition, which is generally fine in my opinion (maybe at higher tiers is a bit wrong due to lower number of players), but team quality. Last night I lost 4 games in a row with Murmansk, having killed 11 ships (4,3,3,and 1) and getting 2 Confederates and 1 High calibre. I could not get my x3 in that ship, because I was so annoyed that I closed the game. I bet that I could have continued losing games no matter how good I played.

Ocean is the only port I use. I already used it when it was a user-mod, because I get a hell of artifacts with any other ports.
