Can the screenshot be enhanced by filters or any other stuff? To get for instance a night effect.

As expected. This has been very clear to me since the beginning. Some people should check their reading skills. I have another question: what if the 10M pearls are reached BEFORE anybody can collect the 260 pearls? Has WG ever contemplated this happening and what would they do about it? And as I was writing this, another one popped up in my head. Originally only the lottery was the final award. Was WG aware of the thousands of people that were going to get 150 pearls? In the 8th day of the event many people here already had 179, imagine how many will have reached that amount in yet another 3 weeks.

Well, probably too little to win something, but nevermind...

Because they were a class of training cruisers. During the war they mostly escorted convoys. They were never intended to be part of the Fleet.

Yes, I remember reading that they extended the time in SEA. But as it was the pilot test, it makes sense cause they probably didn't know what to expect from the players, at what rate the pearls were collected etc, and maybe they realised they had stretched the numbers a bit too much. With the Asian experience, I believe they will have better calculations and no changes will be needed. I won't expect a bend of the rules to extend the period. I'll play to get my pearls the sooner the better, and then wait to see if I can get the ship. If I can't... I already have Minekaze, so it's not the end of the world, and this event hardly made me play much more.

I've always thought the rules were pretty clear: event finish when 10.000.000 pearls are collected, or Feb 24th. If Feb 24th arrives and the goal is not reached, there's no Kamikazes. If the 10M pearls arrive earlier, people with the 260 pearls will get their ships, and the people with more than 150 but not enough to get the ship will enter the lottery. What if the goal is reached so early that nobody had the option to get the 260 pearls? Only WG knows, but I don't think this will happen..

Your pic is small, but I'd swear you already have 179 pearls. That means you already completed this week's missions, so no more pearls for you until next Monday.

I had no problems getting fires recorded for the mission. Cleveland was my main ship to get this done. My record during the ARP Myoko mission were 14 fires for 47k damage.

Killquest ruin the average players game experience
JapLance replied to zgrssd's topic in General Discussion
I disagree. Holding fire until the target is low on health IS kill-stealing. And if some people is holding fire to get the kill and that means that you are dead because of that, when that enemy ship could have been killed earlier, it is working AGAINST the common goal of winning the game, possibly affecting XP earned by the whole team. Also, leaving the cap circle to get another kill works AGAINST the goal of winning the game. Kills should not be used as mission goals. -
I also have these two missions shown as completed, but my pearl account is as I left it yesterday. Anyway, the missions reset have a total of 50 pearls in them. I expected different missions, not the same ones, but nevermind. With 4 weekly resets left, I'd reach the 260 pearls with still one week to go (since the missions are really simple, I expect to complete them easily).

I had a game like this, with slightly less damage but 7 kills and with 1 carrier per team in the battle... And you know what? It was still a defeat. At one point I had to decide if I was going for the carrier or for the half-health enemy Wyoming, and since I couldn't handle the Wyoming with torpedo planes forcing me to maneuver I decided to kill the carrier, but then I run out of time to finish the job...

Casualty report due to anxiety attack: 654 players

A bit late and I guess you would have already guessed, but NA always updates to new versions earlier than EU, so in your situation you will have to wait until EU server has updated the server. If this is something very disturbing for you maybe you should consider uninstalling your current game and installing the EU client from scratch.

These events are designed with the intention of increasing your game time. I don't think you can get the Kamikaze with just a few battles a day. I'd say play it as you do normally, and if you see you can do it in the last days make a "tour de force" to get the last pearls. Also remember that with 150 pearls you enter the lottery to get the ship.

Myoko ain't a bad ship at all.

Compact Carousel in mission overview missing?
JapLance replied to IsamuKondera's topic in General Discussion
Yes, I had realised. But then I thought that when you click in a mission, the client highlights the ships you are allowed to use for that particular mission, and probably this wouldn't be so clear with the smaller pics. Anyway, it's a very minor issue. -
Good job WG. You sometimes do things right. My +1

Changing the name of the folder res\audio\Arpeggio will force the standard English audio.
-
I was hearing constant messages in English, but must admit that enemy team didn't look at me at all (so I could just citadel and wreck them to hell without disturbance) and haven't checked the "the ship is on fire" or "torps spotted" situation. Just try it, and if something is wrong you can revert the change.
-
I just tried by renaming to whatever name the folder in res\audio\Arpeggio and didn't hear a single Japanese voice.

Feel free to ignore anything, but missions work perfectly. EDIT: and please, dont lie. Your stats are public.

Playing tier8 cruisers is quite a pain, but paying to play them is just...
-
The one that should pay more attention is you: your BASE XP was not 1923, but 1282 (which is exactly the amount showed in the screenshot).
-
Your example is not very clear, as it shows a battle with a tier 5 ship, and the tier 5 ship kills are the ones showing up in your screenshot of the missions.
