I guess it would be more successful launching a model of any of the completely invented ships (Roon as an example) or paper designs than yet another Yamato model.

I don't own the Emperator, but I watched it in action in streamings... The dispersion of the shells is amazing for a BB, let alone for a tier4 BB, which are usually real shotguns at any range. I wish my Arkansas salvoes were so tight.

Kirov is more or less OK. You trade armour and manoeuvrability for range and hitting power. If you know how to handle that, ship is fine. -

Your data is not inaccurate. Some L-Class (Lance, Legion, Lively and Gurkha) were finished with 4x2 4in AA guns due to the complicate manufacture of the new 4.7in mount that delayed deliveries. HMS Gurkha

They don't, as I have chosen this upgrade and EM and the turret time is around 50s. 72s*0.85=61.2s 180º/61.2s=2.941º/s 2.941º/s+0.7º/s=3.641º/s 180º/3.641º/s=49.43s Yet I get 50.3 seconds... The correct calculation is this: 180º/72s=2.5º/s 2.5º/s*1.15=2.875º/s 2.875º/s+0.7º/s=3.575 180º/3.575º/s=50.34s

I fully support EU server vision of these missions. They are giving away good ships (at least the ones we've had so far, no idea what's ahead), so you have to do something harder than playing a few games to get them. They give plenty of time so even the least committed players can get some of them. My only complaint is that, being sister ships, they're all exactly the same so other than the challenge to get them, there's little interest in having more than one. I only used ARP Kongo and ARP Myoko. ARP Haruna and ARP Hiei are rusting in port. -

In a nutshell: -guns became much harder to use at long range, and HE shells hardly do damage to armoured targets. -citadel was fixed (for some unknown reason it was splitted in two parts with an empty space in the middle) and made much easier to hit as well. Then came the captain skills changes that reduced AAA power, range, rate of fire and turret turn speed to Light cruisers. All four affected Cleveland. Cleveland is now a shadow of the CBT ship. It needed a nerf, but as usual with any cruiser that is good enough to carry games, WG took the hammer and made it a painful ship that now is only good to start fires on Battleships.

Battleship tech tree doesn't start after WW1. Starts in WW1. Even tier 6 battleships in its stock form are WW1 ships.

Expensive? Sure, everything in WoWs is expensive. But I can buy something from time to time, and certainly Warspite is no clone (even when they release the RN BBs and Queen Elizabeth class is in the game, Warspite is still unique). If I'm to buy a premium ship, I'd buy this rather that another Omaha clone or a Gremyaschy wannabe.

I could fight off the temptation to buy Tirpitz, but Warspite... Set up my 3 captain points as survivability and expert marksman, and the modules for better rudder and better turret turning. Just played one game. Nice so far, 111k damage. Noticed that the repair party gives back a good chunk of HP.

No need for another game mode. Just the MM should also create battles with no BBs. Usually the number of cruisers is much, much higher than BBs (something very clear these days that Russian cruiser line has been released), but strangely enough I can't remember a single game without BBs after tier 2. The MM makes you wait until you get your assignment of battleships for the battle, doesn't matter that queue have 20 battleships and 300 cruisers. Cruiser task forces were perfectly normal in the game timeframe, so it wouldn't be out of reality. This problem doesn't happen with DDs, though. Not very often, but I've been in battles were one or both teams had no destroyers. It's just a MM programming issue, I think. -
I don't see why would it be unfair for the rest that you can develop faster. With that line of thinking, Premium time is unfair as well, because you earn more XP and Free XP than a free2play user so you can go up the tiers faster. Having WoT gold or free XP in WoWs (or the other way round) doesn't give you any advantage in the battlefield.

The first thing I usually do when I log in is checking what daily mission I have for the day, in case I don't like it press the button to replace it. I did my daily yesterday, and when I logged in today... 3 daily missions Bug? Server malfunction? Broken countdowns? Infinite WG generosity?

Well, good things about anniversaries is that there is one every year. Maybe their plan was releasing HMS Campbeltown on March 28th 2017 . Which would be 75th anniversary, by the way. They have 8 months till December 7th. Will they release Arizona on time?

I've been playing a lot the Myoko recently and I really love the ship. But I just finally started to play with the Yorck (it was unlocked since... forever, but the bad words I heard even after the buff made me stop after Nürnberg) and I'm also loving it. Guns are very accurate, turret turn feels sooo great after playing the Myoko (I set up both with the modules that slows reload but buffs turn speed ,and both captains with Expert marksman). More agile than the Japanese cruiser, and when angled seems to suffer less to enemy shells. Average damage is still a bit low, but I've been heavily engaged in anti-DD duty, and while it gives XP, the damage suffers. I'm having loads of fun with Yorck by now. I'm seriously considering try Pensacola as well, as I'm in a similar situation as was with Yorck just a few days ago: scared by the bad press it has.

Still a bit too expensive for my economy. But nice of them selling it with no bundles. They're keeping their promise.
