  1. I made a "tour de force" the last two days, thinking that event would finish when 12M diamonds were collected, and played 36 and 28 games. It's really exhausting. I cant believe some people will do it every day for 2 weeks.

    Info from the game client (checking your profile): -Tiers 5-6 until rank 16 -Tiers 6-7 until rank 2 -Tier 10 in rank 1 As rewards there are camouflages, loads of flags, 1 premium day at rank 16, and some doubloons and credits in the top ranks Starts in 9 days from now.

    New Arpeggio Missions tomorrow 1st June

    If it's just the rest of Kongos and Myokos, I will pass this time. I already have 3 ARP Kongos and ARP Myoko, and don't need any other since they are exactly the same ships. If it was some different ships, though... I'd still think about it. Last month has been pretty intensive with the missions of GNB, and I'm quite burn out.
  4. Would you mind mentioning your source for that? You keep repeating it like a parrot, but never read or saw anything official that confirms it, and when Project R was taking place, I used up some of my pearls way long after the event had finished.
  5. Event will probably end by the 12M diamonds sooner than June 8th, but the boxes can be opened for a few extra days. I did it in Project R, and I see no reason why they would do it differently now.

    +100% is for the weekend. Usual is +50%. They've just changed the display, but it's exactly the same as before.
  8. Guess you could defeat Yamatos in your Erie... but most players can't, and don't like the people that tries. because it realistically breaks their chances in the battle.
  9. I'm at 400 battles, I don't think I'll make it on time to reach 500. Now I feel those 3 days when I couldn't play due to technical problems with my Internet line. I couldn't finish that week's 100k XP mission, and now I won't be able to get another 100 diamonds .

    I have both Furutaka and Aoba in my Port, and Furutaka has a 4% reduction, and Aoba has 7%. EDIT: OK, I found the culprit of the different numbers. If you mount Damage Control System Modification 1, it increases the torpedo protection by 3%. Both ships have a base protection of 4%.

    Koningsberg

    In ships like Königsberg, Omaha, Furutaka, Nürnberg, Aoba etc you have to learn how to fight at long range and dodge incoming fire. Try to not take any hits, specially from battleships, because they are potential citadel penetrations, no matter the angle. Close quarters fights are funny, but you won't last long if you take enemies 1vs1 from the very beginning. Leave it for the final part of the battle, when you have superiority in health or in numbers. WASD are very useful! Use them!
  13. Well, you said that it could not be improved, and that was false. That's what that modification was made for, to improve turret turn rate in otherwise slow turning turret ships. Of course, if you put it in a ship that has a better basic rate, Myoko will still be worse. But in Myoko you can afford to do it and not choose the typical "improved dispersion" module, because the guns are good enough without it.
  14. Sound for guns have gone for worse in most ships in my port, not in 0.5.6 but a few patches ago.
  15. This is not true. With Expert Marksman and Main Battery Modification 2, Myoko turrets turn in 34 seconds.

    I had played it early in Open beta, when it was a real turd, before any buffs. Back then I played it night and day taking profit of some premium time I got to make the bad experience as short as possible. I even did this when the rumours of a buff came in I just bought it this morning and played a couple of games. Now I can see Furutaka's average damage statistics skyrocketing in the next weeks . This is with a 2-skill captain: Just 30 extra seconds and I would have won the game by sinking the New York.

  19. I've always found this (and WoT's Sixth Sense) an extremely weird feature, so I'd say " Situation Awareness commander skill is removed, and nothing replaces it".

    Shhhhh, I made a similar comment on reddit a month ago in a similar situation (they had like 4 premiums ships on sale at the same time) and a WG Community Manager didn't like it.

    The 2-4 88mm of the Bayerns are WW1 vintage, not exactly great AA guns. A WW2 hull for the tier 6 BB would need at least the 88mms of the Konigsberg or Nurnberg (maybe Hipper's 105mm), and definitely a lot more of them. Tier 6 BBs AA next to nothing? I have to disagree. According to WG stats, my best number of splashed planes in a game is 12-16 depending on the battleship. That's hardly "nothing", when CV compliment at tier 6 must be around 40 planes.
