Wow, I won something which is not based on luck... I went back to check my good games during that period, and I think I found the culprit: Basically because I couldn't find any other decent game on Warspite in those days. Funnily, I remember myself typing in chat before the battle had started that it was not going to be funny for me in that battle with tier 8 BBs and no cover to use. I was completely wrong. If anybody is interested, I uploaded the replay to http://wowreplays.com/, but it is from the previous 5.8.1 patch, so I don't know if it will still work. Thanks WG, I appreciate the Premium day and the flags.

To be honest, a few days ago (may have been still in 5.8.1) I had a similar experience. I was burning from dive bombers, but some torpedo planes were coming my way, so I waited before starting the repair. They hit me once and flooding started. Then I pressed repair, and the fire was gone... but the flooding continued!!! It's only happened once and I didn't sink from it, so I didn't think again about it.

Don't count on it. It's 1 extra slot per nation, and we already got the German one when they released the German cruisers. You can expect one when the British are released, though.

It makes all the sense. Read it properly and you'll notice the word Battle tier, not ship tier

I spent a few games in a division last night and it worked flawlessly. I only changed the default V key to Space, as I think it's more comfortable to use.

The battle tier is established by the highest tier ship of the match. So, If you're in a tier 3 ship, the battle is at least a tier 3 battle, even if all the rest of ships are tier 2s.

Yes, it is. At 28 knots is a bit slow, but it's basically a cruiser, and the Germans rated it as such.

This morning I've been thinking exactly the same thing. I only use premium Damage control party in my ships, so when I checked the issued stuff by reaching level 12 (which I reached long ago) I thought that many of those things were not in my inventory: premium radar, premium fighter, something called "torpedo reload booster"... I have some of the others, but they may have been awarded through missions or ranked battles.

If it was the slowest before modifications and captain skills, obviously will be the slowest after any other DD gets the same treatment. But you probably won't choose the same in a Minekaze and its clones. Right now my Minekaze has 30 seconds traverse.

I don't really care. My tier 5s have been like months in almost exclusively tier 7 battles. Specially Furutaka.

Bearing in mind the underwhelming performance I'm having with Hipper, I don't think I would ever buy Prinz Eugen. Not even if it was cheaper than 25€ (which is my absolute limit to pay for a ship), which is not going to happen.

This is exactly what I did in Gnevny to cope with the bad turret traverse: 21 seconds traverse is faster than most cruisers. Thanks for the tips. I think I'll go for AFT in the 4th line of skills. Hopefully soon .

It would've been nice if the referrer got the low tier ship as well, but a free slot, some camouflages and a bunch of flags is OK. It's a nice way to try to bring people back.

Which level 4 captain skill to choose for Gnevny: Demolition expert or Advanced fire training? Probably will keep it and stop here for a while in this line (Ognevoi seems like a painful ship), so no need to think about moving the captain to other ships.

We had no evidence until 0.5.7, but we can see it now with the new separate ribbons. Penetrations for 0 damage, overpenetrations that do more than 10% damage, hits that should be citadel hits are listed as overpenetrations... Then we have battleships citadeled by destroyers, or Clevelands detonated by HE shells. The damage model is a complete disaster in this game.
