I really hate the copy/paste maps recently added to high tiers. They're all 3 caps located at the same line in the middle, surrounded by islands, with open sea in both North and South. The only difference is the disposition of the islands in the centre. Names like Loop, Warrior's Path or Shatter make me wanna puke POOR JOB, WG map department.

WG should add a warning to their legal blah blah blah for WoWs: Any similarity of WoWs with naval warfare is pure coincidence.

They can say whatever they want. I have the Warspite in my port and after the latest patch it has exactly the same draught as before.

Well, I didn't keep a record, but I already had that impression of tier 5s constantly in tier 7 games with 0.5.8. I rebought the Furutaka then and it was a constant of tier 7 games. I updated with the games this afternoon/evening. 5 more games, 1 in tier 6 and 4 in tier 7 . I'm only playing tier 5s when a division colleague needs to. Otherwise I prefer to go to tier 6-7-8.

What has top speed to do with the range of a ship (which was always achieved at economical speeds)

The thing is that we could perfectly have all in the same ship. A 1930s early hull as stock, a WW2 hull with Atlantic bow (both armed with the 28cm guns), and a final what-if 38cm-armed hull.

Usually engine or rudder are the last of my problems. My main concern are battleships AP shells directed at the citadel. Concealment expert is of great benefit to ambush enemy cruisers with AP. Spotting an enemy cruiser before he spots you allows you to maneuver before firing so you don't offer your broadside, for example. Also gets you out of the BBs sight earlier, which may be the difference between having 8-10 more AP shells in the air at you or not.

Since we have multiple Myokos, I have my normal Myoko like this: for improved fire chance. And then one of the ARP ships like this: for AA duty The other ARP ship is for the moment with no use, as will be the Ashigara (and Nachi if it comes) when I get it.

I ended up buying Texas for doubloons. It was the only appealing discounted premium ship that I didn't already have.

They've been milking Kongo and Myoko models. I don't think they have anything else in store.

To be honest, since all summer time weekends have been a x2 first victory, I expected something more juicy for the Anniversary. Discounts and all that stuff, not really interested anyway. But I already know WG EU, so not really disappointed.

Myogi improves a lot with the last hull. And then the Japanese BBs get better and better. Kongo is great, Fuso is excellent and Nagato is a great ship. But always with the ship fully developed. Don't expect stock hulls to be great.

I've been playing tier 6 ships today to finish the ARP Hiei mission, and the problem is in no way as intense as with the tier 5s. I've hardly seen tier 8s.

I didn't mind that tier 4 and 5 BBs had a refurbished hull, but for what it seems, they don't have the WW1 hull, which is absolutely ridiculous. And Bayern final hull is awfully ugly. WG, you did a nice job with the Japanese ships (Myogi and Amagi) but this time you screwed it big time.

This could actually be the 3rd Hiei captain we get, as the ship came with its own one before the 16-point captain mission. Let us dismiss the ARP captains!!!

No more tier 5 ships for me for a long time. It's disgusting.
