Gute Gegner musste man schon immer unkonventionell ausspielen.
Farewell.

    Pick your favorite (many categories)

Favorite ship by enjoyment: (The ship you feel like is the most fun to play) Khabarovsk: When you know that the enemy DDs are praying at the countdown that you will spawn on the other flank.... But all in all the ability to quickly roam around the map and pop up at the most inconvinient locations for the enemy. Favorite ship by carry potential: (The ship you feel like is the best to carry your team to victory with - in random battles) Zao: Has the toolset and the damage potential. Favorite ship by economic potential: (The ship you feel like is the best to gain credits with) Atago: Pretty hard to do really bad in her Favorite ship by achievement potential: (The ship you feel like is the best to farm achievements/flags with (focus on the ones you need/are useful to you)) Zao: Witherer obv. High Calibers, Confederates Scharnhorst: Will just steamroll T7 games. Tough as nails and the toolset to both brawl BBs or delete Cruisers. Good for the BB achievements like Dreadnought, Fireproof, Close Quarters and the occasional double strike. Personal favorite: (Simply the ship you like the most, maybe because you like it's history, it's looks, it's feels, it's power, you were on it in real life, a combination of these, etc.) Best looks award goes to Scharnhorst I guess. But other than that no real favorite. Budyonny looks good too. Least favorite ship to face: (The ship you hate playing against the most) Depends on what I am sitting in myself. But I would have to say Hakuryu/Midway Good players in those ships have the capability to ruin my game in the first 3 - 5 mins and I can do very little about that. They either force me to retreat from an aggressive position by spotting or, if they decide to dump their whole load on whatever ship I am in, they will either do an substantial amount of damage or at the very least occupy my attention on their planes for a longer period of time.
  6. Bist du echt wegen dem ProBowl aufgeblieben? Respekt.

So, how was your weekend ?

24/34 won + 10 Dragon Flags - 10 Karma couple of reports away from a second chatban shitload of flags/camos/other stuff Weekend as usual, only that I played more games and broke my losing streak in the Gearing and switched the streak to the Donskoi.
  8. Thx for the condolence. I was pretty salty in chat, sorry about that.(had all chat still turned on after the greetings) Had 0 damage and finished 8th on my team ^^ Nope no Des Moines yet. I grind trough all the ships T5+. I only skipped the Ognevoi I think, because I wanted the Kiev for ranked when it started some time ago
  9. According to our Yorck (who did the world tour exploring the blue line up to the enemy cap) I didn't do anything and I also received 2 reports. So not everyone shares that opinion

    BB division limit please

I honestly have never encountered a good 3 BB division. Good players usually mix it up to use the strenghts of different classes and minimize being dependant on the rest of the team. If you have a 3 BB division on your team: good luck with those double spotter plane Kurfürsts or Survivability Expert Montanas.
  11. Met piet11111 (not sure if enough 1s ^^) today on my team and he knew I was a forum spammer Was a nailbiter of a game which we won at literally the last second. My smoke unfortunately couldn't save his Texas from enemy focus fire, but our Saipan made the herodrop at the end.
  12. More games in the Zao than you and you claim to be oneshot trough the bow more often than I have ever used the reverse on my Zao.
  13. At least? You only died 32 times in your 80 games..... Come on people stay serious. I could understand Minotaur players saying that because they are often stationary in the smoke that might or might not do 2 puffs. But not in the Zao, even when played aggressively and not on perma stealth fire.
  14. warships.today added the missing IJN DD games yesterday. So he surely didn't play 226 games and I didn't play 276.
  15. I have 119 games in the Zao and cannot recall being oneshot from full HP to 0 (in 1 salvo) from a BB. Not even once. Does that answer it more clearly?
  16. Can a Zao get oneshot by a BB ? Yes. But it is not common. Only if you make a mistake and give them full broadside so they can land multiple citadels. 1-2 citadels can happen even if you wiggle and angle but not full HP oneshots. Since I also read that you actually chose to use Survivability Expert on your Zao, maybe you should look at the Cruiser forums or some recent YT vids on the Zao to get back into it, because a lot changed the past year. (Hint: SE is not a good perk for the Zao)
  17. I remember the end of CBT and start of OBT a little different in regards of CVs. Unless you mean the UI and the general implementation of CVs, they would probably be the most played class today and we would not have any DDs in the games.

    the baltimore sucks

USN 203 mm shells never had the best normalization but the best autobounce angles. So the forementioned change to standard normalization was in fact a further buff to USN 203mm shells. The bounce angles have not been touched. from 0.5.6.1 USN Cruiser shells Caliber Name Auto-ricochet Normalisation Ships used on 5"/127mm Mark 15 60.0 8.0 Erie 5"/127mm AP 60.0 8.0 Chester 5"/127mm Mark 38 60.0 8.0 Atlanta 6"/152mm Mark 28 60.0 8.0 Erie 6"/152mm AP, 105lbs 60.0 8.0 Chester, Albany, St. Louis, Phoenix (stock) 6"/152mm Mark 27, mod. 5 60.0 8.0 Phoenix (top), Omaha, Marblehead 6"/152mm Mark 35 60.0 6.8 Cleveland 8"/203mm AP, 260lbs 67.5 5.6 Pensacola (stock) 8"/203mm Mark 19 67.5 5.6 Pensacola (top), Indianapolis, New Orleans, Baltimore (stock) 8"/203mm Mark 21 67.5 4.4 Baltimore (top), Des Moines, Buffalo Source:

    Ranked T7 And T8 P2W?

    What a stupid poll
  21. Good luck with your 8.x km radar especially on Epicenter maps where the middle cap is huge. I really doubt the massive influence of this consumable (being on very squishy ships) in this ranked season. It is not remotely comparable to the 11.7 km radar on the Chappy which has a longer range than any T8 torp, so the DDs had to get in that range. NO also has a 9km radar but could not effectively use it in the past T8 season.
  22. Would take my Fiji over any premium cruiser anytime. Belfast is close though.
