  1. Du bekommst für jeden Rang den du in dieser Saison geschafft hast in der nächsten Saison je einen Stern. @ Gejammer + Schuldsuche Das System ist wie es ist momentan und hat Vor- und Nachteile. Diese threads sind ja jede Saison die ranked Frusttherapien, aber wie immer gilt: Es liegt zu 98% an euch selbst wenn ihr nicht stetig aufsteigt. Solange ihr die Schuld immer beim MM, dem System oder bei Mitspielern sucht und fest davon überzeugt seid, dass nur diese Sachen euch davon abhalten R1 zu werden, dann habt ihr es nicht gerafft und seid nicht fähig irgendwas an eurem eigenen Spiel zu ändern. Egal ob es Schiffswahl, Spielstil oder einfach nur eine Kopfsache ist: Ändert was an euch selbst, da es das Einzige ist was ihr ändern könnt.
  2. Weil es zu ~10-15% Unentschieden kam in diesem Spielmodus. Und Unentschieden sind sogar noch um einiges frustrierender da sie immer 20 mins dauern und es nur Verlierer gibt. (ich habe 65 Unentschieden in meiner Statistik, die sind alle aus meinen ersten ~500 Gefechten der Open Beta)

  4. There are a few things you could try: - problem could be caused by Antivirus software (mainly) or other software conflicting with WoWs. Try turning the AV off during updates - You could and should run an integrity check of your WoWS, which can be found i the launcher: - you can delete the files in the updates folder (X:/world_of_warships/updates). Do you have enough empty space on the drive the game is installed on? - conflicting rights on your system? Maybe try running it as admin?
  5. Tier <=6 is still learning an trial and error stage (which OP seems very well aware of) So why should this be a big deal/worth a thread? Open one for all the double spotter plane/survivability expert Yamatos and Kurfürsts, bluelining Shimas with 20km torps or Des Moines bringing fighter and spotter planes and I would maybe understand you.
  6. After some thoughts about this I am uncertain about this being a good or bad change. So my thoughts on this are fairly neutral when thinking about my own ships and playstyle. Since it is not officially announced I presume that the changes will be: - The 20s detection penalty after firing your main guns are exactly the same as your gun range at that exact moment (including captain skills, modules and spotter plane) - all the exceptions we had from the rule (caliber*6 in m) are naturally removed. Same rules for every ship - the mechanic itself does not change. Meaning that the penalty is only applied when having a direct LOS to an enemy which is inside that range. Fire, secondary and AA penalties are unchanged. - I don't know what the factor will be for detectability from air Going forward from this assumption just my shower thoughts: Some specific ships which made great use of the current mechanics will lose efficiency. But I can only think of one ship where this is a big deal and that really needs looking at if that change comes like this : Akizuki thinking about own games, yes I did use the mechanic during portions of my games on ships that had the ability but not to a point that I was totally relying on this to be effective. On the other hand I remember one specific ranked game I spectated after dying, where our team was down to a BB vs the enemy having a Blyska. The BB, despite there being 5 mins left had 0 chance of winning this game while being spammed from stealth. He could no catch him, he could not cap he basically had no chance other than blindfiring at open water >11km away. That indeed is one example where you could basically feel the frustration this mechanic was able to cause. If these changes come like assumed there will be some thoughts needed on the own playstyle. Prime example would be US DDs like Fletcher/Gearing were the bloom/gunrange varies between ~11km and ~15km depending on how you spec them. I, personally dislike AFT US DDs and think that its a good thing that those ineffective dudes now will get spotted while doing ineffective things. Stealth will still be as important as before, no real change to that All in all neutral.

  10. Falls es weitere Funktionen für Clanleader gibt (ich kann zum Bleistift einen erstellen und hab auch die Einladungs und Bewerbungstabs) wäre diese Version benutzerfreundlicher als sich ständig einloggen zu müssen.

    They stated multiple times on different sources why they changed the possible loot from SC - too many flags could be gathered through different sources (Missions, campaigns, ranked, containers, playing gud) They never officially stated the chances for SC - same reason as not officially listing (premium) ship income modifiers, XP and credit earning formula for the different modes, etc. : game economy things are NDA so they can adjust them at will and when needed. Was it really a nerf to the chance for SCs? - perception can be a bit**. Everyone posted his/her great SC at the beginning because it was new. You saw it everywhere giving the impression that SCs have an enormous dropchance - I personally listed all my SCs at the beginning and did not really feel a nerf in dropchance, but ofc it is possible that that chance was *2 or *3 in the first weeks and got adjusted I had 5 SCs since the change of the loot and got: 2 modules 2* 50k Free XP 1000 dubloons not bad for just playing some games.....

    Torpedo hit ratio: How low can you go?

    If you really look at this stat and try to improve it you would have to do it by ship. All in all I personally think that Torpedo Hit % is one of the stats that is nice to know but is basically useless in terms of defining your game. Rule of thumb: The shorter the range of the Torpedos on your ship, the higher the hitrate should be. Torps with ranges of 8km+ can be and are often used as area denial or to chase someone out of smoke screens. If fired with the intention of doing those things your Hit ratio will automatically be very low. If you for yourself know that you only fire them on spotted targets with the intention to do damage and never hit anything, then you should think about adjusting your aim or spread. Instead of always using the ingame aim assist (grey cone) you should try to predict the enemies movement and aim ahead or behind. Torps with short ranges (4-6km) are only used in close combat and mostly to damage or kill a closeby enemy. Here the Hitrate should be higher because you are taking risks to use them ( show broadside for launch, enemy secondarie range) If you don't hit in these cases, then you took the risk for no reason and are doing something wrong. (A shoutout to my beloved Derpitz captains launching 6km Torps at enemies which are 15km away )

Hatte bei meinen 2 oder 3 Khaba Spielen gestern eher den Eindruck dass sie nicht mehr den Punch hatte wie vor dem Patch.Schaden gegen DDs war wie vorher aber gegen CAs hatte ich zT einen recht geringen Effekt. Rein subjektiv und gefühlt! Mal gucken was beim Datamining rauskommt, war wahrscheinlich Einbildung ;)

    I'll just hijack this thread to get some tips here. Just got the Moskva a couple of days ago and I am struggling a bit to make her work. My questions are more regarding playstyle and positioning. I play a lot of Cruiser and usually can have my impact to games but the Moskva is different for me atm. I caught myself playing it more like a BB and less like a cruiser which makes me kind of dislike the whole ship atm. Bow on positioning and being kind of stationary is not how I like to play my cruisers but my first impressions where that this ship is too big and too slow in turning combined with the bad concealment to play it with constant movement. I found it very hard to disengage fights and reposition. So how do you guys play it successfully? - Do you go for a more passive positioning where you are more or less stationary for portions of the match at ranges 13-19km ? - Do you play it with constant movement and wiggeling in the background (15-19km) roaming around the maps? - Do you play it aggressively and push caps being the bow on tanker at closer distances 8-13km? As I said I would appreciate some tips for making her a carry T10 Solo ship like the Zao is for me atm.

  23. Wie gesagt, bin schon über kopfschütteln hinaus Hier sind noch die alten Werte: http://shipcomrade.com/ships/udaloi Die Torpedos haben sich verändert und sind insgesamt schlechter geworden. Zwar schneller aber dafür längerer Reload und höhere Sichtbarkeit Rest ist eigentlich gleich (Kanonen sind die vormaligen upgrades 130/55 B-2-U, auch wenn es da einen Anzeigebug im Hafen gibt) Ausser natürlich das DefAA anstatt speedboost.
