Just tried it to see what it looks like. Unless it was different in earlier patches, it's actually not WGs fault if players can't read.

The Isokaze has a fantastic reload time on her Torps. So missing a shot doesn't really matter that much. From T6 onwards your reload time goes up to 1min+. Thats when you should have learned how to effectivly launch your torps ;) If you press "3" while you are in Torpedo-aim you can adjust your spread from narrow to wide. You kind of have to anticipate where your target will move and what he will do if he sees your Torpedos coming. Most of them turn in. So relesing your second spread more directly towards the enemy with a little time in between your shots often does the trick. Also be aware that planes can detect your torpedos early for all enemys to see which ofc makes it easier to dodge them. An enemy needs a direct line of sight to your ship. So moving behind an island that is high enough to cover your ship makes you invisible instantly.

#this That is wrong though Firing your main guns has that effect, not AA Iso has 2km AA range (2.4 with Captain skill) and is detected by aircraft at 2.8km. When your AA guns open up you are already detected. Firing your AA also adds 1.3km /2km to your concealment which is reset the moment you disable your AA guns by pressing P.

Colorado needs a buff as soon as possible....
LilJumpa replied to andreiversus's topic in General Discussion
After the last patch and the buff to the main guns regarding rate of fire and turret turning I also think the Colorado is fine. For me the Nagato and Colorado are both good ships with different strenghts and playstyles and both are well balanced against each other. Nagato has tons of HP, very good secondaries and speed. Colorado has better main guns (now), better AA and good armor ( angled Colorados are very hard to penetrate). -

LilJumpa replied to EiKarrRamba's topic in Videos, Streams & Blogs
Yes they rock, no they are not untouchable ;) Light Cruisers like the Kuma, Phoenix, Omaha, (to a certain extent Cleveland) with their fast firing guns and good manouverability can be played very aggressively and are very strong at their tiers. But that is also due to the fact that the low tier BBs often don't have the range to fight you effectively before you can engage them. Starting at Tier 5 IJN and Tier 6/7 USN you will have to adjust your playstyle with Cruisers due to bigger guns and longer reload. If you play them the same way as you are playing your Kuma right now , you will actually be eaten alive.

Russische Zerstörer und deutsche Kreuzer im Oktober!
LilJumpa replied to Meltion's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
No you have posted your Angry-kid-style Nagato thread here and it got moved. Now you started another one, same style Just in case you keep on playing. Welcome to my ignore-list. Have fun with archeron there

Kein Können, sondern Glück ! (Ranked Games)
LilJumpa replied to Porter76's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
That must be the fun all the people claiming "I play for fun" are talking about. Another secret revealed , thank you. Going to try this right afer i figured out which maps I don't want to play. Can someone ask this guy where he hides at the ocean map?

Ranked Games - eure Impressionen dazu ?
LilJumpa replied to Captain_Qu's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
I went for secondaries/AA all the way
-
It's always the ship, the team or WG. Never the captain. Some people here told you their opinions and if you looked at thei stats they indirectly showed you what the Nagato is capable of. You still whine and Capslock all over the place so ergo you just want to let off steam and behave like a little kid.

Why has Tirpitz destroyed the current meta?
LilJumpa replied to Rem3mberMe's topic in General Discussion
Well there is one good thing. The amount of Atagos has decreased. Other than that, looking forward to the ranked battles. No Tirpitz there. -
Tier 6+7 is the best choice IMO and I fully agree with the official statement regarding Expirience because it makes sense:

Why I must pay dubloons for selling my ship?
LilJumpa replied to Sky_Bandit's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, very difficult to look at the screen and notice the clickable arrow, which is all over the port - screen for every drop down. To be honest: WG is just using human stupidity. If they earn money through that, one could tell a lot about the average playerbase. -
The reason why CV is OP and RNG is a big part of this game
LilJumpa replied to goodman528's topic in General Discussion
A lot of people are not even aware of the minimap or the clock in the upper right corner. Since the changes to MM and CV loadouts I actually noticed more whine threads from CV players than "CV are OP" threads. Post-4.1, the average battle time has not really changed. So saying it's the average battle length that lets Carriers get more damage and XP than all other ship classes is like telling everyone "don't sail in a straight line". -
Why would it be more fun if guns you can control only to a minimum degree and fire on their own do more damage? I am not sure what you want to hear/read. People stated what secondaries are for, how they can be upgraded and that different ships have better secondaries. You got answers and are still asking why this "made it trough beta" because you (and only you!!) want them to work differently. And ofc the "Stats are useless because............ and my dog played too" statement which never gets old.
-
The upgraded and captain skilled Nagato opens up with 9 *140mm and 4*127mm on each side at a Range of 7.2 km and a hitrate of 15% + Chance of fire I would not call that pointless and I have 20 kills with my secondaries up to date. Most people are just unaware of the strengths of some ships and either don't upgrade the secondaries or don't use them to their advantage because they stay too far back.
-
Replay or it didn't happen Never seen 2 enemy Torpitzes so close together unless they where bordersliding and accidentally met at a corner of the map
-
+1 for the honest self reflection and the good read. (2 things you don't find that often in these forums lately.) I agree mostly with Flavio in his opinion. Above average player with notable learning and expirience-kurve. Keep it up, we are all still learning. Don't worry about your hitrate though, with Flavios definition I suck at shooting too

Either play the game or don't play it at all
LilJumpa replied to Humbug_1's topic in General Discussion
So you are suggesting to dumb down the game. If you want to adapt a game to human stupidity you will receive something like this: -
Either play the game or don't play it at all
LilJumpa replied to Humbug_1's topic in General Discussion
Guess what. It's actually no fun either when some team members just waste their ships with little or no damage done. But it's always the "Team". That excuse is the easiest way out. Too many take that path and too many times it's a waste of time to answer them. Stats should be used as an indicator for yourself if you regularly make the right decisions. Bad stats, too many bad decisions. But this discussion between Stat-deniers and Stat-lovers will never end.
