Die alte T9 Kagero hatte nur ~13km assured aquisition und konnte ihre Ziele für die 16km Torps nicht sehen. Die Shima hatte zwar mehr aber konnte die 20km nicht sehen, das stimmt.

Airplanes Squads are not affected by islands in terms of LoS. They can see trough islands. At least that 's how it was but I have to go trough your post tomorrow in detail :)

You opened it yourself ;) Well the answer is another "depends": - Spotter plane helps you to temporarily increase your range and engage enemies further away. This is especially helpfull in a slow ship like the Colo since you can engage earlier and chase something running away from you. It also has a larger radius around your ship when in the air, so it is slightly more helpfull if you use it to spot torps. It has a longer uptime but also a longer reload - Fighter helps you when you get engaged by carriers since it attacks enemy sqadrons in range and widens the dropspread of the attacked squad.

Noone can really answer that tbh. WG has brought back older missions like the Bismarck collection for people that may have missed it, but if that is going to be a regular thing is unknown. The only things they will definetly not bring back are rewards that are tied to a collaboration with companies or people due to contract necessities. (e.g. ARP, Steven Seagal) For everything else its all about WG deciding it because they own the rights themselves.

There is the possibility that foreign game servers are blocked even via VPN ( I read that for Overwatch) because you use other connection ports for gaming. I am not certain about this and would have to dig in here because I am no expert in networks/routing. The Chinese server is exclusive and run by a chinese company with different rulesets and laws. So maybe contacting the support (I don't expect good answers here) or one of the community managers directly would provide some clarification on this regarding this game. You are a EU customer trying to access their product after all. Community managers you could contact here are: @MrConway, @Tuccy @Crysantos or @Sehales that can maybe help you

I was looking around on reddit but actually only found some vague answers from WG officials that they are aware about the rendering delay. The thing is that this rendering delay has a history in this game and is most likely added on purpose by Lesta. The last official change was the fade in/ fade out mechanics which were added in 0.6.1 The history and speculation stuff: - Lesta has been altering this delay since beta with various stages with 2 goals in mind making the game playable on potato PCs without too great disadvantages avoiding the blinking of ships, which was in the game at release in 2015 - In the last months, probably with the introduction/altering of detectability in smoke and or the upcoming weather effects/night battles they are fiddeling with this again and it has become very noticable as of late - It is only losely related to your hardware/internet connection and you will always expirience that delay since it is artificial Update: @loppantorkel Jingles just posted a vid where this is mentioned: Answer from the Devs at St. Petersburg (Lesta) It is a technical issue with the server core and parts of this have to be overhauled to fix this. 7:30 of the vid

Since you are in China I guess you know about the internet situation there aka the great firewall. (?) A friend of mine was in China a couple of years ago and he used his own VPN with a rented server from digital ocean which he set up. He did that because he told me that some VPN services are regularly targeted by the chinese shield and slowed down or interrupted. He did not play WoWs though.
