Komisch , ich mach mir eher Gedanken welchen "must have skill" ich bei meinen DDs weglassen soll, da man ja nur max 18 Punkte hat.... (19 ist unrealistisch)

Ibuki / Zao - How did you guys set them up ? Modules/Captain/Signals

Hey guys, just sat there looking at my newly bought Ibuki and was thinking about how to set her up and equip her. Maybe get some opinions of some guys with expirience with them. My mindset and setup atm is to bring them up to max concealment and max range to have all options in the higher tier battles. Support Role and aggressive DD counter will suffer a little to this because i would set her up differently. Would like to hear opinions of people who actually have these ships. (Please keep the meta discussions out of this thread please) 1. Captain I brought in my Myoko Captain and skilled him with the for me most obvious choices up to now. Still have some points to spend and plan to go for Concealment in the long run as 5 Point skill. Not sure yet if that is worth it. Options: - Enhancing AA (Basic FT, Advanced FT ), together with the consumables Fighter and AA Buff: I am not too overwhelmed by the AA abilities - Enhancing Survivability with repair skills - Enhancing Aquisition 2. Setup Here, as I said, I have chosen concealment and range up to now, bringing her to 19.2 km Range and 11km concealment. Consumables are momentarilly for AA. Open for suggestions. 3. Signals Leaving aside the XP/Money Signals, there are only a few which really are an option IMO. Some Signals are harder to aquire than others and maybe make more sense on other classes. Atm I have only this one Equipped: And these are Options I am thinking about: Looking forward to hearing Opinions. -
It worked when CVs where present in every game, and DDs where a very rare species in T8-10

If you really still believe what was written in July, and was probably one of the first iterations of general gameplay design, then it's actually worth it to put you on my personal Ignore-list. You will be accompanied by Archeron, Goktsu (that's the guy who thinks Shima sucks btw) and probably soon followed by Spartan1963 if he keeps posting in every thread that the Fubuki sucks. I have spent some posts in another thread to try to discuss DDs with you, but nothing seems to have helped in your pretty ignorant view. This pretty much sums it up perfectly:

too many good choices for 18 points . 9 points (SA, Superintendent and Camo) are more or less set for all DDs. But inbetween there are , depending on the numbers, some decisions to make.

That's not my point. My point is diversity in a line. What WG is trying to do for the respective Nations, should also be present in a shipline. Take IJN BBs: From Kongo to Yamato, every Ship has his own strenghts and weaknesses, and they have to be played a little different. Some differences are minor like Nagato / Amagi, some are bigger like Amagi/Izumo If you take away the difference, the 155mm are right now on the Mogami, the line from Aoba to Ibuki and even the Zao have too few differences. The Mogami is a highlight in the grind atm. As an opponent (because I stopped at the Pensacola) the US Line is just that. I don't really care if the enemy has NOs or Baltimores. They both are the same to me if I play against them. -

Mogami is (or was before MK) unique at T7+. Every other Cruiser has 203mm guns and playing it with the 203mm is kind of meh, since from T7-9 you basically have the same ship. Even as an opponent it is boring if it doesn't really matter if you play vs a T7 or a T9 Cruiser if they all are the same. (At Ranges of <15km) -

I actually just responded because my BS-Meter went crazy. I don't own it and probably never will, but I'm with allufewig here because logic. Btw noone knows what will happen to Mogami. If it gets the possibility to mount the Artillerie Plotting Room 1+ gets a little Buff in her damage to compensate the DPM loss, she might still be viable to play with the 155mm -

Ist doch noch gar nicht raus was mit der Mogami passiert............ Aufgrund solcher BS-Aussagen sollte langsam jedem klar werden warum Supertester ein NDA haben. Da werden schon Emotionen hochgekocht ohne eine wirklich verwertbare Grundlage dafür zu haben.

Das sind grob die Werte die er mit BFT, AFT und dem Turmdreh - Skill momentan hat, die alle angepasst werden sollen und nicht mehr wirken würden bzw. nur z.T.

#this in addition, with AFT and BFT also being the best choice for MK, it was a perfect Captain-Retrainer for RU-DDs, which also use both skills. Now you will need either a seperate Captain for the MK to use these extra perks or live with perks not working for it anymore. If this goes live! -

You are a bit too early to already clinch 1st place, since this week is pretty young, but you are a strong contender for the " most retarded rant of the week". Archeron won't make it easy for you, so don't count on being on top. -
Vor allem, da es schon offizielle Aussagen dazu gibt. Aber hauptsache die "Diskussion" in einen neuen Kreis getrieben indem man einfach alles wiederholt. Alle 3-4 Seiten dasselbe.

Thank you (again) for the work you put in here. Very good looking and usable overview. One point of feedback, since I noticed you put the Mogami with the 155mm guns into the overview, since I guess it's the way most people play it atm: For some ships, the last hull upgrade is not always the best choice. Especially DDs often lose Main Guns to gain some (questionable) AA. Sidenote:

Erste Gerüchte besagen, dass zumindest die Kutuzov (auf 19.1 km) und die Albany( auf 8.5km) ihre Reichweite erhöht bekommen. Mal schauen was noch so durchsickert.

Letzter Kommentar in diesem Thread: Meine Aussagen bezogen sich auf genau dieses Beispiel, nämlich die Zusammensetzung und den Spawn der einzelnen Schiffe , inklusive "Troll/Unwissenden"- Division in der Nähe von A und ohne zu wissen was für einen DD Trigger hier steuert. Und ohne Info zum Gegnerteam. Die Spawns auf dieser Karte sind im Übrigen gespiegelt. Kein Team ist näher an einem Punkt als das andere. -

Hätte ich genügend, aber ich wills nicht in einen Taktik-Diskussions-Thread umwandeln. Triggers Grundgedanke und sein Appell an Teamplay sind ja vollkommen richtig. Das sollte auch das Hauptthema hier bleiben.
