Anyone have the Brisbane and is it worth getting?
ziratulbihac replied to EireannGamingNetwork's topic in General Discussion
You can have 9999999k coal, Brisbane is not available :) -
I have 2.5k games, and I have JUST STARTED learning some tips and tricks. Every now and then I can be TOP 3 with DD's, BB's but other than that ... Keep in mind that tthere are players with 50k games Just to compare: 1. They have 50k games 2. I have 2.5k games 3. You have less than 400 Just enjoy the game, try new things, watch twitch, youtube videos and you will get better overtime :)

I was positively surprised by the guns. They are bad of course, but they are much more usable than anticipated. I was like 'meh' 3 guns, but 150 mm do hit hard, also 12.5% fire, 3k alpha 880m velocity and 4.3 sec reload is not abysmal - but rather 'usable' I agree with you about Volume, spamming 12 95 km/h torps from 4 launchers = you will always hit something and it adds up overtime.

Well 3 other guys died in 30 sec, killed 6 other ships and 200k dmg+ couldn't do more -- but I do win 80%+ of them

Independence day for Greece and the OXI DAY (NO DAY)
ziratulbihac replied to telxinos's topic in General Discussion
Yes and they don't call themselves Greeks but 'Rum' - It was interesting to me since we call ourselves (Aromanians i.e Romans) so I went further to investigate why are they calling themselves with the same name. There is a guy Mehmed from Trebizond who is friend of mine, speaking 'Romeyka' and I asked him if there are more people like him he said that: Trebizond, Erzurum and most of the Turkey are 'Rum' I was surprised with that info that I cannot grasp it even today. He told me that 'Turk' means 'muslim' basically and nothing else. Greetings from Dalmatia :D -

But aren't those Ottomans in fact mix of Greeks, Armenians, and other Anatolians? You are basically celebrating freedom from muslims right? There are more Greeks in Turkey than in Greece. -
Was very very happy :) :) 3rd box out of 10

ChatGPT suggest Cruise Missiles for World of Warships
ziratulbihac posted a topic in General Discussion
If we consider the time period of the 1950s and 1960s, there were several cruise missiles developed and used by navies during that era. Here are a few examples of cruise missiles that could be considered for inclusion in World of Warships based on that time period: Regulus: The Regulus was a subsonic cruise missile developed by the United States and used by the U.S. Navy from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s. It had a range of around 500 nautical miles and was primarily deployed on submarines and cruisers. P-5 Pyatyorka: The P-5 Pyatyorka was a Soviet cruise missile developed during the 1950s and used by the Soviet Navy. It had a range of approximately 200 nautical miles and was launched from surface ships and submarines. SS-N-3 Shaddock: The SS-N-3 Shaddock was a Soviet cruise missile developed in the 1960s and deployed on Soviet Navy ships. It was a subsonic missile with a range of around 250 nautical miles. These are just a few examples of cruise missiles from that era, and there were other models developed and used as well. The specific attributes, including damage, reload time, and range, would be determined by the game developers to ensure gameplay balance and historical accuracy within the context of World of Warships. Given the technology available during that time period, the average damage for cruise missiles in World of Warships could range from several thousand to around 10,000 points of damage, depending on the specific missile. This damage range would reflect their effectiveness against enemy ships while still maintaining a balanced gameplay experience. A suggested reload time of 3 to 5 minutes for those missiles would be in line with the game's mechanics and ensure a balanced gameplay experience. However, considering the context and the need to avoid rapid sinking of ships, a suggested realistic miss chance could be in the range of 30% to 50%.- 27 replies

Whenever I launch torpedoes (every single time), AI ships move away when torps are 4-5 miles away. I have tested their movement when Torps are not fired and they do move differently. How we are supposed to kill them successfully if they see our torp locations, torp movement etc.. I understand that AI needs to avoid torps, but they need to do that within the same scope REAL players do. They should not start evasive actions if torpedoes are NOT detected. I understand that they COULD be moving to prevent possible torp attack (just like real players) Still, they do that 100% of time when Torps have been already launched (so they have an information about incoming Torps and that's cheating)

AI is cheating (Asymmetric Battles)
ziratulbihac replied to ziratulbihac's topic in General Discussion
Better Results: 1. Target (calculate torp. direction) 2. Target another AI 3. Fire Torps towards 1. by aiming manually. -

Few times out of curiosity, but Asymmetrical battles promoted "Improved AI" not Coop AI. -

Well they should be using everything we do - but still they are cheating and that's not fun. Perfect AI can be made without cheating. -

I did hit a lot of them, that's not an issue, but the fact that they see your torps. Sometimes they can't move away on time of course - but they DO see those torps. -
What are your thoughts on the Halford?
ziratulbihac replied to EireannGamingNetwork's topic in General Discussion
Update: Halford is more fun in Assymetrical battles. 1 x Torp salvo, 12 km gun range and rocket planes are really situational in Random Battles PVP -
With Brisk it goes 24 but it has average camo so... xD It's a historic ship, played few games and I have noticed the following: - Secondaries are fast 2.1 sec and will kill those lower tier dd's easily (9.5 km is the range if I remember) - AP's are so so slow, mega slow. You need to double pre-aim basically I would rate it 7/10 It's not a must have ship, but if you love American Naval History, and if you are FAN of american ships then go for it.
