    I am happy for the waifu community is mostly saved. Never had much passion for World of Warships; it was only due to their collaborations with Azur Lane that I kept playing this game. I will play it some more when they release the new AL content in the upcoming weeks and then hibernate until the next years collab. My biggest regret is registering in 2015 and not joining the forum until late 2020. Back then I was active in World of Tanks Blitz... funny how its forum got abandoned but stayed alive due to the moderations ignorance whereas this one is getting the axe despite being active. I don't know the rest of the forum much nor see any reason to type further. It was fun while it lasted.

    I have sent requests to @LOZFFVII, @Panocek, @MK1D Added Zemeritt and Lastbutterfly And waiting a response from @El2aZeR, @gekkehenkie50, @WWDragon, @Khaba_Gandalf and @Marblehead_1 for their Discord names. My new job will start next week so I have some free time. I will look up some tutorials and stuff about discord servers and once the foundation is laid with everyone from this thread in we can build it up. Feel free to suggest channels.

Final Azur Lane Update: Built the rainbow French AA gun solely for its looks. Expanded my dock for the first time in years... META ships are just Yostars way of bullying the players. As for the ring... I will wait for Alaska... it is such a weird feeling to have the forum close prior to her release. Would have really enjoyed it had I been able to express and share my to-be bliss with you all. Started playing Blue Archive again solely for Kayoko, switched jobs, cooked a brownie and.. that is it. Business as usual besides those. Wish you were all playing on Lexington server so that we could play together but this is fine too. Either way I am done with this game. Might return and may not return till the end based on how the schedule goes. One last word... @LOZFFVII Some spoilers of Higurashi, Kimi no Na Wa, Perfect Blue, Black Swan, Ghost in the Machine and Matrix below.

    Announcing it three days in advance... they are not even trying anymore. Well there is one thing to do; keep in contact with as many people from the gacha community as I can. Have fun in your bubble Wargaming but don't blame anyone when it inevitably bursts.

    I would pair Kearsarge with Belfast or Yuudachi.. those two had some damage modifiers for when their target is burning. I completely gave up on game mechanics ever since I finished World 14. Took some precautions against a potential submarine focused World 15 by preparing Chaser, Cooper, Odin, Ingraham and a few others but that's that. Switched to faction focused waifu fleets which is more fun. FS grind is %50 over. I will do the rest tomorrow.

    I know that Alaska will be a Brem-Balti mix in looks and personality with close ties to Anchorage, reminiscent of a mother and daughter. I refuse anything else.. maybe with the exception of a bigger Minneapolis which honestly would make more sense given how Alaskas layout has more in common with prewar US heavy cruisers. First stage of Felix is %25 done. I created two German fleets for 12-4 and found myself in a dilemma. No idea how I missed it before but turns out Lützow is a carbon copy of myself when I am not working. Now who to oath... the eternal dilemma of a F2P AL player.

    Kearsarge's futuristic attire is very reminiscent of New Jersey. I wish they didn't do that; as useful and likeable as she is I genuinely dislike that futuristic outfit. Was it really that difficult to go with casual clothing or some relaxed formal wear? Regarding the other ships; Hindenburg is your standard Yunsang design, Shimanto is armpits with stoicism ramped up to 11 and Flandre's proportions are just off. Now Felix on the other hand is a feast for eyes. Sleek design, purple hair and clothing, twin tails, lots of expressions, that one particular expression, spider lily, much needed correction and etc. Given the trend of German DDs I don't expect much in terms of meta but she is %100 getting the ring. I will prioritize her and get the remainder throughout the year... maybe. Edit; The updated version of Flandre looks better now.

    It is not surprising given how ugly that war got through the decade with Greeks massacring both Turks and Albanian civilians to the point that even Hellenophile Western advisors and volunteers left in disgust. The revolt in 1821 was initially more "romantic" but then again the original aim of it was not independence but simply a reaction to the cruelty of sultans governors and the said governors mercenary army. Even Western countries that intervened proposed a tributary solution where Greece would be free to handle its interior affairs but still dependent on Ottomans in the international affairs; similar to Tunisia of that time. It was due to Mahmud II and his overconfidence in the newly built European style army that the war continued with Russia and Greece given its independence at the end. Nationalism and history don't go hand in hand, sadly. Either way I agree that Wargaming should add it as an event and finally release Averoff... we have two Greek destroyers and a cringy trireme camo but the real deal has yet to arrive. Unbelievable if you ask me.

    Nice design but she is literally -_- in 5 variations. I have no idea why they didn't add Zao; Japan already has very good CLs but its CA roster is so outdated. Oh well. As always, fingers crossed; this time for Puerto Rico as a PR 6 DR. They didn't add Alaska so adding a bigger Alaska it is the least they can do.

    I probably sapped one of you peoples luck. After Bismarck II I got New Jersey in 7 rolls. Upcoming Italian ships looks a bit bland imo except Attilio. You all should see the new skin for Essex though, it is beautiful. I am a bit shamed to admit this but I missed both Shimakaze and New Jersey solely because I was rolling non-stop for Minneapolis. I wish Manjuu included girls like her more often. I now conclude my post with my sincerest expectations for Alaska and still not getting it despite it being MID YEAR already. Yorktown IIs event wont be forgotten.

    Good thing that removed CVs are returning but it would be silly to have a full fledged fleet carrier as a support carrier. Relocate smaller CVs like Ryujo and Zuiho to support tree and move the ones like Taiho back into main CV line.

    This thread belongs to the off-topic section of the forum. I started playing Warthunder back in 1.27 more than a decade ago. After all this time I just roll my eyes whenever I see the player base acting like spoiled brats. Warthunder belongs to Gaijin and as a monopoly in their genre they will naturally do as they please. Gaijin is going to postpone that roadmap until people forget and then the changes planned for now will be gradually implemented over the next year or so. Same old same old for a decade and people still don't learn. Either adapt to changes or get out. Simplicity itself.

    I don't know what to say really. Azur Lane subreddit will likely be a warzone tonight, one which I intend to avoid. A day will come and they will release Alaska. I shall wait. Edit 2: I see that Taihos new skin has Perrier and lemon flavored Coke. I am disappointed to say the least. Edit 3: Just discovered to-be-released Touhou 19 on Steam and ZUNs art is improving. End times are near.

    What tragedy has befallen upon this thread??? There is an IB reveal tomorrow and not a single guess about what will it be... Judging from the art alone it is guaranteed to be a capital ship but which one.. it being a carrier is unlikely given the predominance of guns and secondaries. With 6 main turrets I thought it was going to be another O-class battlecruiser like Brünhilde but she has only six secondaries whereas we have 10 in the picture. Also the background art is reminiscent of META. I think it is going to Bismarck META or Tirpitz retrofit. H-class battleships have 12 secondaries so I don't expect another H-class. What do you guys think? I don't know much about German projects besides H and O class so please do go ahead and tell if you think it is something else.

    According to Reddit the next AL event is going to be Iron Blood themed. I wallow in self pity over Alaska but mine pales in comparison to the sorry state that is Iris and Vichiya fans. Fingers crossed for getting another wave of WW1 ships. If I cant have Alaska at least let me have Yavuz.

    Which is further enhanced by the irony that the Christian god explicitly warned Israelis about the consequences of having a king as an intermediary would only result in oppression, enslavement and over taxation.
