Favorite shipgirl (Kancolle,Azur lane, Arpeggio of blue steel,Haifuri)
Pururut replied to Kancolle_Kongou's topic in Off-Topic
I am slightly shocked to see a tier 3 premium after all these years. Kinda ironic considering how powerful she is in Azur Lane. Same here. All of my active and promising ships are fully enhanced. On the side note I wish I could purge the META ships. They are the only ones remaining that aren't fully enhanced. Can we implement a one Marie Poppo per post policy? I am having flashbacks to late high school and the time I lost a friend because of that game. -

Probably the quickest and to-the-heart decision I have ever made as far as Azur Lane is concerned. -
ARP Content Request: Petition Of Request (with Poll)
Pururut replied to AGT_ZURU's topic in General Discussion
I am not really into ARP but something in the poll got my attention. ARP Yamato was around 700 liras back when it was released. It is downright hilarious to propose let alone think about restricting access to certain game modes for someone willing to pay that much.- 47 replies

This event was slightly problematic. I have just recently returned from conscription so there wasnt time left to stockpile on coins or cubes besides what I already had. Did 130 pulls over the last days to no avail and then in the classic gacha fashion pulled 3 Musashis in a row. I don't like her design but UR ships are generally too good to pass on. The real star of this event is Sakawa. Noshiros personality is off putting so my heart sank a bit when I saw Sakawas outfit mirroring hers. Thankfully Sakawa takes the best of Agano and Noshiro; open, very cute, self-aware, hardworking and bit of a tease. I am undecided between whether to give her the ring or wait until December for Alaska. -

Despite all the links shared here and others I found online, ultimately I couldn't find my loading screen. On the bright side I found a lot of pretty nice Azur Lane and Kancolle fanart. PR grind is too much effort so I kinda gave up on it. Returned to playing the game for dailies. Dunkerque is the best waifu in the game with Kumano being a close second. That is no opinion btw, just facts. -
Why did you try to tell people the truth in the first place? Are you like a messiah or something?

This will be a bit out of nowhere but it has been gnawing at me for the last 3 hours. Azur Lane has these loading screens. One of them had a wolfpack underwater. They had torpedoes in their hands, the background was dark green with a depth charge or two exploding in the background. Despite all my efforts I couldn't find it. Most people here are old timers. Do you remember a loading screen like I have described? -

It is your decision and the lines have completely different playstyles which even differ in the same tech tree branches. Try it and decide for yourself. Personally I am a huge fan of 2x4 forward firing fighting ship concept so I like and own Dunkerque, Richelieu, Cherbourg and Brest. Going to get Jean Bart in the next Black Friday. Either way if I were you I would prioritize what I enjoy playing over what the end goal is especially when the end goal itself has been recently changed and is at its infancy at best.

I am not going to lie; my heart skipped a beat once when I read it and twice when I saw Garibaldis art. Said it before, will gladly say it again; God bless Ohisashiburi and Cirilla Lin. Roma and Da Vinci are also eye charmers. Personally I like the base skins of the new ships over the fantasy ones. That said... Kumanos new skin makes me feel things. I already have a soft spot for gyaru and that belly dancer skin resonates so well with my semi Oriental heritage. Mashallah. -

Ships like FdG, Azuma, Drake, Cheshire, Gascogne, Odin are all well worth the grind. Skills and stats aside some of the PR ships have really unique personalities if you are into that. Either way if I were you I would do at least a bit of PR grind here and there. As for PR5 ships, I like them all except Ruprecht. The grind will start with Brest followed by Harbin, Plymouth and Chkalov. My only hope is to finish collecting blueprints for PR 5 before PR 6. I was always a cycle behind. -

Yostar has just announced Brest as the third PR5 ship. I wasnt going to say it but coupled with Plymouth this entire thing right now is just an unofficial Gabriel Dropout collab with booba. It wouldnt surprise me if we get some interesting oath lines for both where their personalities do a 180. Even if they dont I will prioritize getting them which is not something I have done from PR 1 to 4. -
I am curious do you play other games together with WoW? Do you have time for other games?
Pururut replied to VedranSeaWolf359's topic in General Discussion
I play Azur Lane with World of Warships as in looking and interacting with both at the same time. It does reduce my ingame performance substantially but it is alright. It is not like I am bothering high tiers or ranked. Besides those I usually shuffle between Monster Girl Club Bifrost, Touhou Mystias Izakiya, One Way Heroics and Armoured Commander II. One of those might be a tad embarrassing but only until you find out the excellent management sim it actually is. -
Kidd has access to three charges of heal, has an additional gun, doesn't get matched against superships and cant be rebalanced directly. I will not repeat myself with the AA as we both know it is useless. As of now Velos is just another mediocre ship which will likely be purchased by the Greek audience and that will be it.
-
As of now Velos is just a Fletcher with 5 torpedo tubes less in exchange for faster torpedo reload/speed and minor boosts to soft stats and the option to carry Defensive AA as a standalone consumable. AA is garbage on both but what bothers me is the different torpedo arrangement. Fletcher torpedoes are low range and open-top thus quite vulnerable to HE shells which can easily disable or outright destroy them. I would rather lose half of my torpedo output rather than all of it. Feels like more of a downgrade really. Wish Wargaming had given us Averoff as a unique tier 4 secondary focused heavy cruiser instead.

Summer is really bad this year. Turkish sun has always been the type that melts the asphalt with a sickly yellowish afternoon sky but in the last decade there has been this trend of tropical rainstorms. The change happens so fast that you can feel something invisible draw the warmth out of air as the sky turns near pitch dark with clouds moving in a spiral like fashion. Anyways in lieu with the proper arrival of summer I have started and completed another seasonal purge of the port. Reduced the ship count from 240 to 160 including Hiryuu, Souryuu, Javelin, Laffey and the majority of French, Italian, Russian and Chinese ships. Would have reduced it to around 140 if META and PR ships could have been retired. The majority of normally obtainable ships have been a lost course for a long time in terms of obsolescence but it is saddening how this now applies to older PR ships as well. I have revised the depot and deleted plenty of obsolete of equipment while keeping some to create their advanced versions from the gear lab. While revising the depot and the gear lab I realized I had accumulated so much material over the years that I could craft whatever I wanted except the very high end gear. In a twist of irony and boredom I removed the Operation Siren Fleets out of my fleet roster, disbanded the PR fleet and started creating waifu fleets in their stead. The only rules is that they get historical gear and are nation specific. I have a small collection of Kongou, Akatsuki, Le Fantasque, Richelieu, Allen M. Sumner, Yorktown, 1936A and Bismarck classes as of now. I will acquire C class destroyers shortly for my RN fleet. It works both ways; waifu fleets are fun to collect and refit while functioning as PR grind fleets on the side. I was considering removing Shoukaku and Zuikaku until I checked Shoukakus voice lines. Not only are they staying for the second Sakura waifu fleet but the former is also getting that last ring. There is savagery and then there is savagery. Jesus Christ. -
Japanese AA with 25s and 100s, shell catching stern and guns that cant overmatch. As the video showcased, that 32mm plating and upper belt is not up to task against a Musashi and Wargaming has just started introducing superships. Another mediocre ship that doesn't uptier well already and will get considerably worse as time goes on.

I heard somewhere on Reddit about the upcoming fifth anniversary for JP server. There were some speculations about new swimsuit skins, figurines, chest pads, artwork, ASMR and etc but no fumos. Where are the fumos? I want a Yayanami, Laffey or Nicholas fumo. I am seriously considering getting some tailoring lessons to get the basics of which I will try using as a springboard into fumo making. They are absolutely adorable. Edit: Finished 14-3. 600 gems ready for oathing Alaska... whenever she comes. -
Do CV players even look at the map, have situational awareness?
Pururut replied to ARE_YOU_HUMAN's topic in General Discussion
Maybe he just didn't pay attention to begin with? Either way the self-defeating case of ingame tutorials have been covered before so in lieu with OPs pfp I will say this; Embrace monke, return to tier 1 or 2. Ironically since Yuro posted his Eire video tier 1 became host to some of the most hardcore matches I have ever seen. -
The answer is tier 5. It sits right in that sweet spot; the game becomes more available in terms of missions and rewards, ships start assuming their distinct national and class based identities, everyone suck at playing so there exists somewhat of a balance unlike higher tiers, the gimmicks are limited and there is more room for error. While carriers and submarines do exist, they don't have the potential of their tier 8 and 10 counterparts. Also the classes are defined more rigidly; no fast battleships, large cruisers or super destroyers. Most importantly unlike tier 6 or 7, tier 5 doesn't uptier into another generation of ships. Despite having less variety compared to upper tiers, there is still a healthy amount of it in terms of gun caliber and ship designs. It is ironic that tiers that are modified the least by Wargaming tend to be the most enjoyable.
-
It is a terrible idea to waste resources and/or money on tier 9 ships with tier 11 and submarines in their current unfinished state.
-
No thanks, I don’t want tier 5 to be flooded with Iwaki, Nikolai, Kamikaze, Julio Cesare, T-61 and etc. Then again they have just released Musashi in auction so it is possible for removed ships to return. Just don’t expect discounts, old customers don't mean anything to Wargaming.

500th Anniversary of the Swedish Navy
Pururut replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Interesting that the ship and the crispbread share the same name which also happens to be pretty amusing since the latter's nickname in Turkish is edible plywood. The rewards look generous but I will pass. Good luck to those interested. Wargaming cant profit off patriotism unless the target audience is both populous and wealthy. Hopefully they will add the cruiser Averoff some day. -
I was considering Dunkerque since I have the captain but I couldn't find the AL camo for it in the armory. Is it like Roma where you can buy the ship specific premium camo by clicking the exterior tab on the main screen? It is weird that only this years new AL ship camos are sold individually with the rest being in a bundle.
