    That would be an interesting choice considering the reaction it would get from the Turkish community. Ironic how Churchill's decision amidst paranoia and underestimation of German High Fleet and Ottomans in the aftermath of Balkan Wars respectively earned him three additional fronts, Soviet Union and a portion of the world that is yet to be stabilized. Yavuz would be a much.. safer choice.

    That was unexpected. Hopefully this event signals the addition of Yavuz as a tier 5 battleship in the short term future.

    For the first time in the games history a collab event (Dead or Alive) is having a rerun, starting on next Thursday. I think the recent events with Yostar getting reported caused more troubles than anticipated. Hopefully they will release Alaska in late May or early June. The holy trinity of Bremerton-Anchorage-Alaska must be completed. I am still seething whenever I think about December. There was a notion of ritual posting about Mainz having a skin, might be worth giving it a shot. I watched a full playthrough. It is an alright game but I would recommend Sunless Sea over it.

    I am back to Azur Lane. There was some news about the creation of a new AL server for the global. Since all of us have max or near max level accounts, would you guys be interested in starting over in the new server? Might break the monotony of having done it all. Either way I have installed Bluestacks and it is a lot more comfortable and smooth compared to playing it on an old tablet. Tried it last night. It is alright but feels a bit outdated in terms of gameplay and stages.

    It wont be. 5 years ago they closed Turkish and Spanish forums. Italy followed last year. Last month they closed French and Czech forums as well. Given the way things are it is only a matter of time before Polish forum gets the axe. There is no reason for an Ukrainian forum unless it can generate activity comparable to Anglo/German forums.

    When I read the news about Poppo mode I knew this was going to happen. Don't forget to get insurance for the inevitable rage and subsequent destruction of your PC. On a different note Mystias Izakaya has finally translated DLC 3 into English. There are 2 more DLCs to go so given the 4-6 month translation delay I expect the game to be completed somewhere around early to mid 2024.

    With faces like those, I can say with utmost guarantee that Sevastopol is going to be a mix of Pamiat and Vampire. It took me three days to marry Sakawa. Seems like it wont take more than a day this time around. Time to do a fresh install and carry on.

    I like nun vibes but overall Implacable looks a bit bland. It is high time Yostar introduced some minor factions with their own unique themes for skins. There are so many unexplored themes like Jewish, Islamic, Byzantine and etc. Just take a break from lustful skins or maybe mix those with something different for once.

    I am happy that Turkish navy finally has its own vessel in the game even if it isn't battlecruiser Yavuz. As for the rest of the DD line, they all look good except that Greek abomination masquerading as a destroyer in scout cruiser dressing. It looks so off when compared to the rest. Should have added one of the historical Italian or British designs instead. There is no can of worms except that which is in your head.

    I have been busy with Diner Dash Touhou. Purchasing ingredients, cooking dishes, getting hungry, pausing the game, going to my kitchen and pretending I am having an Izakiya of my own 3 in the morning only to find a messed up kitchen on a Sunday noon. The omurice did taste good though so cant complain.

    I have taken a break from Azur Lane. The game is fast turning into a daily chore with constant stockpiling of cubes and blueprints for PR ships and gear lab. There is nothing else left to do.

    I don't like these threads as what is meta might not be compatible with how you play. I prefer consistency and that means tech tree US carriers. They are decent ships; good old fashioned squadrons, focus on reliable HE and fire damage and actually historical content. Ranger is my favorite in terms of design and ease of play. Most of the tier 5-7 ships have very poor AA. For the odd tier 8 some basic knowledge and WASD suffice.

    This event was surprisingly good in terms of luck. Got everything within 112 rolls. As for Yorktown II, her stats are very good but she is not beginner friendly all. You need Hornet II, Essex and New Jersey to make good use of her skills. Northampton II is also decent and a keeper. Langley II will be purged. Hammann II is a mixed bag. She has no use as a TRP focused DD but her limit breaks give her special ASW attack and a %30 buff to AUX gear. She has enormous potential as an ASW ship so I will give her the Ingraham treatment; keep her in reserve and gradually get her to level 125. I had something cross my mind lately; excluding your starter ship, do any of you still have kansen that is a part of your fleet since day 1? Personally Enterprise carried my fleet for the last three years. Got her in day 1 and she saw it all from World 1 to 14, Operation Siren and PVP. I find it fascinating; in a game where power creep has rendered hundreds of ships obsolete Enterprise is still a decent choice be it in PVP or PVE. Now that the game has given us another 200 gems I think I will get her the Heroic Finery skin. It looks majestic and she deserved it a thousand times over.

    The mere presence of Marie Poppo suggests 200 at least. I heard the next event is going to bring Murmansk. I think I will build a historical (lol) Russian fleet as the event has a lot of authentic Russian gear from the map drops. It is comforting when you have enough gear to equip multiple fleets both competitively and historically. My luck with the event is as usual. Got everything except Yorktown and Hornet. Going to get both in the next two weeks be it through luck or pity.

    From what you said I assume you don't like overmatch in uptiers nor HE spam. That and the state of tier 9-11 leaves you with Roma. It has excellent armor, objectively the best 381mm guns, cruiser stealth and speed. The downsides are poor AA and citadel is above the waterline. It is a sleek design and an eye candy with the best camouflage in the game; Kobayashi Maru. It can brawl, snipe and hold its own even in tier 10 matches. It is my favorite ship and a decent credit printer on top. Just one thing about the guns. They are very good but the vertical dispersion can be a bit wobbly. Still miles ahead when compared to something like Tirpitz.

    Tirpitz commanders rejoice! You can all now use those secondaries to their fullest without getting farmed 5 minutes into the game and be a dead weight on your team. An honorable mention goes to Massachusetts commanders.

    That is a pity; a lot of the girls didn't even get a chance. I didn't know there could be multiple artists per ship, thought that only happened in special instances like it did with FdG. Either way I still have a smidgen of hope for Brooklyn. We recently had new skins for Oklahoma and Nevada so who knows.

    You hit me with nostalgia train on that one. It has been more than 20 years since I watched Digimon. Now I have to rewatch. I think I will go and read Azur Lane lore straight from the wiki. Managing kansen is nice but I don't get what is going on with the story anymore. That aside I have done yet another reorganization which probably has long surpassed how many times Plymouth tells us to rejoice. It is 4 Operation Siren, 1 PR, 1 ASW and 1 PVP fleets. Finished grinding Persival and Chkalov. I have started revisiting some of the forgotten purple and blues in hopes finding waifu material. Brooklyn is a new favorite of mine; her design is criminally underrated. Wish her artist could divert some of his attention from Eugen to others.

    Fast forwarding several hours, initial confusion has lead to disappointment. What is the point of having Yorktown II? Could have added retrofit to Essex instead. I cant believe I am saying this but I am genuinely frustrated over what they have done. It is fine if Alaska wasnt going to cut it; it could have been Gearing or Midway; something that runs along the line of what is established with URs. If Yorktown II isn't game changing this will be the first UR event that I will skip. They had one job and they botched it.
