it actually looks kinda weird without them
-
for furutaka: always keep in mind that shes probably the best ship in low tiers for close attacks - shes very small target from the front and her torpedos are great. dont be afraid to setup ambushes like dd or charge lonely battleships
-
i hated cleveland when i unlocked her...and still im feeling uncomfortable with her
-
poor furutaka...so much hate...she carries considerable punch and you should always try to storm lonely bbs becouse of her torpedos and shes very slim from the front...also she is one the most beautiful ships in the game imho

sorry i missed these pictures...these are indeed a lot better than the stupid tiger stripes by wg

my main problem with in-game camouflages is that they are not historical...yours look really good indeed, but why dont you try more historical approach? ...my 2 cents http://abload.de/img/nrnbergssupv.jpg http://abload.de/img/camo-1r6u0n.jpg http://shipbucket.com/Real%20Designs/Germany/BB%20Bismarck%201941%2003.png http://shipbucket.com/Real%20Designs/Germany/BB%20Scharnhorst%201943%2012.png https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/3x2xrcddaotfa8g/CA%20Admiral%20Scheer%201942%2008.png?dl=0 http://shipbucket.com/Real%20Designs/United%20States%20of%20America/CA-68%20Baltimore%201944.png http://shipbucket.com/Real%20Designs/United%20States%20of%20America/CB-2%20Guam%201944.png http://shipbucket.com/Real%20Designs/United%20States%20of%20America/CB-2%20Guam%201945.png great sources: http://www.bismarck-class.dk/books/camouflage_1/german_naval_camouflage_vol_1.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_ship_camouflage_measures_of_the_United_States_Navy http://www.shipcamouflage.com/warship_camouflage.htm

Youre right about Eugen. It never crossed my mind before. N00b32, on 27 April 2016 - 08:08 AM, said: Wallenstein But the problem would be that czech are slavs - so inferior people in eyes of nazi propaganda. I don't think that religious differences would matter so much as his etnicity. But as you somewhat said before - another controversial aspect about him could be that he also spent most his career fighting against germans...even though alongside other germans. But Heydrich was interested in Wallenstein and used him for propaganda purposes in the Protectorate. He sounds somewhat more probable in A-H tree...although i think that he had reputation as a traitor. german ships were named after mythological beings before and many nazi leaders (Hitler included) were very fond in germanic mythology. Nazi way was after all anti-christian and more occultist. As for real people my vote goes for Ludendorff...but it would sound better to have bb Hindenburg and cruiser Ludendorff at tier X these are the best picks imho anyone mentioned Frundsberg? although he may not be popular or significant enough for tier X either... (Neuschwanstein seems highly unlikely...) -

what about some mythological names like Siegfried, Fafnir, Nibelung, Wotan, Heimdall... or Walhall? ...or Rienzi perhaps but more importantly he was czech and not german -
range isn't the problem becouse right now there is like "effective range"s rather than "full range"s in the game and 152 and 127 on these ships had pretty much same effective range (so not a big deal to make it the same) ...but shell velocity could be problem EDIT: http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNUS_6-30_mk1.htm http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNUS_5-40_mk2.htm different velocities 610mps vs 701mps but more importantly the 127 rate of fire is almost double than the 152...so yeah. probably not a good idea i was just curious
-
enlighten me then kawachi for example also had different guns and we are pretending that they are the same...but as i said. i wouldnt mind so much make them all 127 or didnt pick montgomery at all (but there are many mixed calibers before 1914...)
-
i'm not saying that their performance is same. but the only thing we have in game is rate of fire, damage, ap value and fire chance. they can have different stats for these (except for rate of fire perhaps) but i see no problem to controll them both at the same time but make her guns of a same caliber may be the way also
-
i know about chester. she has some fantasy gun layout in game for balance purposes perhaps...well not a big deal to give her 4 imho mixed caliber indeed. but is it a problem? guns are elevated automatically and only thing is rate of fire...but we can say that they will have identical ...i'm not saying that my choices are ideal or only possible...

Tier I USA JAP GER RUS Chester – curr. Tier II IJN Yodo (1906) SMS Gefion (1893) Novik – curr. Tier II - speed - 24 knots - speed - 22 knots - speed - 19,5 knots - speed - 25 knots - guns - 2x127 mm - guns - 2x120 mm - guns - 10x105 mm - guns - 6x120 mm - armor - belt 51 mm - armor - deck 62 mm - armor - deck 25 mm - armor - deck 50 mm Tier II USS Montgomery (C-9)(1894) Chikuma Dresden Izumrud (1902) - speed - 19 knots - speed - 26 knots - speed - 25 knots - speed - 24 knots - guns - 2x152 + 8x127 mm - guns - 8x152 mm - guns - 10x105 mm - guns - 6x120 mm - armor - deck 11 mm - armor - deck 57 mm - armor - deck 50 mm - armor - deck 76 mm
-
Why?
-
well i did some research and i'm starting to see the problems... the first criterium was the speed. these are the fastest. examples: SMS Gefion (1893) - looks like ideal candidate for tier 1- speed - 19,5 knots- guns - 10x105 mm- armor - deck 25 mm or SMS Niobe (1899) - also...- speed - 21,5 knots- guns - 10x105 mm- armor - deck 25 mm or USS Montgomery (C-9) (1891)- speed - 19 knots- guns - 2x152 + 8x127 mm - way too strong- armor - deck 11 mm or USS Panther (1889)- speed - 26 knots- guns - 6x130 mm- armor - nothing or IJN Yaeyama (1889)- speed - 21 knots- guns - 3x120 mm- armor - nothing or IJN Yodo (1906)- speed - 22 knots- guns - 2x120 mm- armor - deck 62 mm - strong? there would be maybe beneficial some switches between tier 2 and 1 - like Novik and Chester since they are the least armed and armored ships, yet still quick enough
-
...
-
i just think that these 1930s patrol boats look out of place/time with 1900 designs...if they at least wouldnt meet other tiers or had their own rampage mode. but their performance wouldnt be such dramatically different. they are maybe a bit slower but we can pick faster ones.
-
i dont think that players would be sooo confused with them more than from the current ones. you'll stick with that archaic gun placement for another 3 tiers. isnt more confusing to jump from gun turrets to side placement right after tier1? to not deal with turret rotation (because of guns on both sides) could be actually an advantage for a newcomers
-
well, that's not exactly what i meant...

banning...is a way of...FEAAAR
