No it is not, If you have a friendly in between you and enemy, that friendly is in effective area.. every torpedo has a different effective area regarding to their speed and range.. SO EASY, If there is a possibility for your allies to eat your torps.. DO NOT LAUNCH TORPS.. Or, take the risk launch torps and when you hit allies, accept your mistake!!! YOUR TORPS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.. One of the Easiest rules in the game meta, and I'm amazed how people fail to accept and understand that. PS: Watch amazing paint skills!

Problem can be easily solved.. Do not torp If there is an ally in the danger zone.. It does not matter If you tell them or not.. DO NOT TORP FROM BEHIND! You may tell them and they may dodge, but that may force them to make unhealth moves.. Or things may change, they may get spotted and force to turn on your torps.. again.. wanna solve the problem.. DO NOT TORP FROM BEHING... Case closed.. PS: don't buy a yoshino please..

Try using designers table.. basically the port with most moving objects or animations.. (like water surface as @El2aZeR stated) Is the best port for your PC performance.. There is a mod for complete empty port.. Thats good too :)

Do not torp when there is an ally in the effective area.. AI or Player.. Your torps.. your responsibility.. This fact does not change when you "don't agree" with it :) Look at the bright side.. you are talking about "learning the torps, and how to use them" Lesson 1: when you torp from behind, you can hit allies..

I have an idea.. some people ask for removed ships.. because they are "collectors!" We know WG can limit ships to modes.. like test ships cannot go in competitive or no randoms for rented ships so how about they bring back all the removed ships.. I don't know.. for a quarter of their price.. but limit them for Co-op.. so collecters can get their hands on those ships.. but the balance would not be affected... and easy money for WG.. win-win-win? -

actually for years I always talked against the SBMM with my reasons.. and for the league system, I still have my doubts... but there is only one idea I actually think that may work somehow. MM works as it is.. until the point where it forms 2 teams already.. then according to a formula, calculate the effectiveness of players in that given ship.. and exchange players in between their own classes, to somehow even out the skill difference.. like 4 BBs per side, the MM calculates 3BBs on one side is good, and 1 is bad.. on the other side there are no good BB players.. so it gives 1 BB to other side, and gets one bad BB.. it does not balance it properly.. but tips the scales a little bit.. Thanks @Kenjiro_ for the idea.. -

Don't get me wrong, I hate the stomps as much as the next man.. But the problem do not lies in the MM.. it is actually lies on the players.. and their game knowledge and training. WG can do a better job to train them better and force them to learn the game better.. but in the end that will cost money to WG.. so.. :) -

Ok then, let me tell you that sad story :) The pure random MM (random from player side, line NO skill or stat based) Was and actually still is a very major problem people voice in WOT. I mean, the MM topic in WOT forum is way bigger than this one :) and If you ignore the screenshots, you cannot see any difference in posts between Tonks forum and shipz forum.. So, years ago, A company said, they are coming to end the monopoly of WG with a game called Armored Warfare. Trailers, and ingame videos looked amazing.. Game was basically same with some modern tanks.. and way better graphics and game engine.. It was obvious, that the AW officials and developers, really targeted the flaws of the WG, by following the community, and trying to address all the weakspots and complaints from the players. The biggest selling point was SBMM... Yes.. One day, AW announced, they will have SBMM.. they've said "You no longer need to carry bad ones!" (or something like that) It was celebrated like crazy! People said, WOT will die.. this is the end.. They've said their farewells in the forum.. reddit.. facebook.. they've said.. FU WOT.. You've lost! A few months later... Apart from PVE, game AW has died.. almost everyone who left the WOT came back.. 2 main reasons.. Unbalanced classes.. and SBMM... From people who experienced it.. I quote! (You can't believe HOW HORRIBLE IT IS!) -
From time to time.. I go find that topic.. and look through it.. Apart from the first 100 pages of pure rage... (first 2 weeks of the rework!) the rest is almost the same with this one :)

She does not have British smoke, but pan asian smoke, not long not short, in the middle, with very fast reload, and she has 6 of them :) (with SI) can have DefAA, which is even a better improvement over aki's nice AA on her own tier, and I prefer shoreter but more smokes of the pan asia.. so you don't stuck on one place to farm some damage then get out and wait for your smoke to reload. You can relocate easily.. you'll have more smokes to waste to get away from the carrier, etc etc.. and in reality just 20 second shorter smoke time, fenyang has more smoke time with those amount of charges :) yep... thats one downside, but this thing has to have some downsides eh :)

Mate, this thing has almost no similarity with the asashio.. They just gave her somewhat asashio torps just not to make it even more OP with regular DWT.. :) It is an akizuki.. but better.. which has better captains in Pan Asia.. I agree with you on one thing.. If someone plans to play this thing with a torp build.. yes they should stick to asashio indeed :)

1k less HP than daring, with no heal, 0.7sec more reload on main battery than daring, 1 less torp launcher than daring.. . She has some qualities, but I don't see her as over daring.. If you ask me.. yes.. will be one of the best cap contester / DD killer.. but nothing more IMO -

My 2 main arguments about how it won't work, which I've repeated numerous times has never ever been address by anyone, 1st: teams should stay intact for a SBMM to work, for teams to stay balanced. In a game with no respawn and high RNG you cannot have balanced teams. First ship dies, the balance goes off the roof. With High RNG, lets say, me as a tier 8 carrier, detonate your tier 10 DD with my second salvo.. just about 1:30 into the game.. what now? where is the balance? or what happens when one of your players goes AFK? how about one TKs another in the first 3mins.. If these players are not coming back into the game? where is the balance. The SBMM will actually increase the snowball effect not decrease... 2nd: how do you plan to measure skill? to put people in? I'm gonna give the same example... Myself.. people said we can measure with WR.. ok.. general WR? Ship WR? tier WR? Class WR? how? because.. for example, If you get general WR, My General WR: how about when I play Entreprise, or midway..? or how about taking class WR? lets say I wanna play cruisers..? Where do you put me in my moskva.. or in my helena? How about 2 tier 10 BBs for me? same class, same tier.. Montana and GK Or lets say, I want to play DDs... Kagero or yugumo.. basically very similar DDs.. Where do you think the MM will put me? what to take into considerations? Summary of my second point is, an ELO or whatever you call system, cannot work with ships.. in other games, they have Stats to consider of a SINGLE player.. We have 4 different types (with some subtypes), 10 different tiers, with different MM brackets... It won't work.. -
eermm.. I was talking about this one actually.. It is impossible to devstrike ship with TBs anymore.. Unless it is a detonation.
