This update is at the date of where the CB season ends and new ranked starts.. so there has to be an update for that day. and they are adding, + UI scaling, + main battery booster for french cruisers into that too as a plus.. I say this is not a bad update !

as I confessed earlier, whenever I pause them, they tend to restart after for a given time :) and I was unable to spot the auto update options as given how a lazy frick I am :)

nope, I have 4 ram slots, at first it was a 4+2 set.. I've found another one from my brother, and made it 2x 4+2 I am planning to remove all of them and put 2x8 for the near future.

ok then, I think that is my mistake because I've tried to find the auto update options but failed. To be honest, I guess I didn't looked for it hard enough. About the ram issue, I do not know what happens on my or your computer but I know what I experience. I have 12gb of ram, and If I let the client update arena or wot in the background while I am playing wows (on ultra settings) The game starts to stutter after 5 mins roughly, and If I do not stop it, it completely freezes my computer after a while. I've managed to run task manager (waiting 2 - 3 mins after clicking for it) and I've seen the client using 8gb of ram at that time.. so that may be is a problem with my gig and setup I am not sure..

The combined client is a good idea but in reality it sucks right now. I am using it from the first day they introduced, and though as it has some improvements in the past couple months, my chrome stays in awe of the clients ram eating capacity when it updates the game in the background. and there are no options for manual update. you can pause any update.. but it resumes automatically whenever the clients seems it is ok. Without asking you. I played WOT for 20k games, and playing a couple with my brother from time to time once in every a couple months. I am a closed beta tester for the arena so it is installed too.. I am checking it from time to time.. I do not want to uninstall those games, but I don't want them to be updated unless I want it. Client does not let me to do that. So my solution is, I am running wows from the standalone application shortcut. I just use the client whenever I need an update to a game.. On the other hand, I've never ever seen any other problems than those. Unwilling updates and ram eating. Never had crashes, no similiar problem or else..

This is a great attitude! Thanks for it.. The best thing right now is to cancel IMO as the things are still early, and redesign it and re-launch! Let me give you an opinion here.. Let the CCs design their special captains with skills.. let them have it.. let them show what their captains do.. and let people chose by voting the videos on your channel. This way, the better captain will probably win because It doesn't matter how much subs that CC has. People will vote for the best captain to have it in game..

Dear OP, The most important skill in this game to have is situational awereness.. Other than that, you need experience, ship knowledge, game mechanics. The second part can be learned only by reading the game wiki, talking with people and ofcourse playing the game. The first one comes from playing the game, and watching videos from CCs, good players, etc etc.. So, as everyone said, at high tiers, expected outcome from you is higher.. and punishment for mistakes are bigger. You may give a complete broadside to a BB at tier 5 around 15 kms and you may live with it.. then you can say "Phew! that was lucky. I shouldn't turn from that side next time" But when you do that in tier 10 at 15kms against a yamato or a monti.. you will not have a time to judge your decisions and take lessons.. My advice for you is.. go back to tier 5 and start playing. take 100 games as measurements, and try to reach %50 WR.. after reaching that in the LAST 100 games.. go a tier higher.. If you cant.. stay at that tier until you do. On the other hand, read game wiki for your most loved ships. Read the weaknesses, strenghts.. If she has, read little white mouse's ship reviews.. and go watch youtube.. Flamu, and especially for the newcomers like you, ichase gaming.. İchase has a great serios for the people who are new to the randoms..

Ok, saipan is a monstrosity against the other CVs, but as I've understand It doesnt start deleting ships after deplaning the enemy CV, So basically we can say It doesn't affect the match in general but only kills the other CV's fun. But I am probably wrong.. correct me If so..

A lot of Streamers and CC's announced that they will be picking sharks way before the event starts. A group of highly skilled players from clans picked sharks as a directive from their clans since every win in a CB match means 700 points for the team.. No amount of compensation will make the gap getting closed.. wait for the 15th day, when a lot of players complete the 75 loyalty points then it will be a stream of players towards to the eagles... to get more tokens.

I don't have any source for that, But I have experience. but It was like that at the last season. I don't know about the first season but 1 week after the previous season, I was able to reset all my captain skills free.. I don't expect them to change it. People usually spec their Desmo Captains for AA.. or their GK captains for Secondaries. Since no need for AA in CB and very less need for Secondaries, people change theirs builds in those ships for example. and they need to change them back after the CB season ends..

I do not agree with you completely, that the IJN DD line is dead, yes very UP with the recent changes.. but Shima has a great spot and used very very frequently in CB. That should say something. On the other hand? I am just curious.. why people call SAIPAN an abomination? and I heard some for KAGA as well?? A little enlightment may be?

Last night, a radar mino tried to surprise me in my hindi, coming behind an island completely broadside.. 4km away :) and he thought he can citadel + torp me :) he didn't know that my guns were pointed at him.. and I used my hydro just 2 seconds he was out of the island :) result... 9 cits.. deleted mino.. he couldnt even fire the rear guns.. let alone torps :) But that was in CB.. he was just "[edited]this ship! I am out of here!!"

Next time when you were against 1 vs 10.. try to change sides.. :) offer them some drinks..

If people try to balance out this game according to the people, we won't stop seing utterly dreadful failures! when you try to do that, you get no citadel BB's.. when you try to do that, you get HE spammer BBs, when you try to do that, you get a 50mm bow and aft belt moskva, when you try to do that, you get GZ, your aim cannot be, should not be, must not be, "Even the most average or worse player should do some good in this ship!" If people are crap, let them be crap.. let them lose, let them suffer.. let them learn or leave...

Hey there! Yes I had a clanmate but he was in the reds! that traitor!! So fun battle we had together, morons blaming you and me for camping when we were next to enemy spawn and trying to fight with %10 of our HPs :)

I am not saying that, I am saying, there is a clear, easy and not so rude way of pointing people's mistakes out (which I do every match) without getting a chat ban. (which I've never got) Never ever seen this.. But I am only talking about my own experience.

Hello Ladies and Gents, Since the ranked battles ended and new CB season started, I thought, It would be good to open a discussion thread about this. And May be It would be better to pin this at the start after removing RB season 9 topic. @MrConway care to help? Anyway, It's been 3 days since the CB started (active playing days) Going good. My only concern is the maps. Rotation is not looking good! Last night, We played 9 battles in CB, and 5 of them was in the sleeping giant! On the other hand, I want to share another oobservation, In one battle, there were 2 moskvas, side by side, bow on, little angled, 1/4 speed pushing into cap, constantly radaring. that was one hell of a problem to deal with...
