Started at rank 16.. had 2 amazing and very much fun battles in NC, plof! tier 15.. no more tier 8s for me! I love my tier 10 ships WG.. but I was an FC in the last CB season, 4 nights of CB in the last 45ish days, adding legendary upgrade grind into that.. a lot of, tier 9 - 10 missions from campaings.. I am really getting tired of playing top tiers.. Usually I personally go mid tiers for grinds.. or some occasions to play with friends.. so.. May be it is too late for this season, but in the next CB (I know it is unlikely) and/or Ranked season, lets make it a little bit lower tiers.. tier 8 for CB or both 8 and 10 in 2 seperate leagues.. and tier 5 - 6 or 7.. or even 8 for ranked.. Dont get me wrong, I love my tier Xs.. but tier 10 is generally too much adrenaline and stress loaded..

Khronstad is just an inferior Moskva, but almost similar. Like the relationship between yamato - Musashi. I bought musashi because I don't have time and patience and enough hair left for the yamato grind. I am gonna do it.. but since I feed my inner captain's 460mm hunger with musashi, I can do it way way slowly. but I know yamato is better.. If you have time and will to grind towards moskva.. dont get khronstad at all.. Moskva does everything Khron does.. generally better.. and for the money / credit grind. tier 10 prem camo works wonders for that part.. If you ask me about nelson.. I think the prime time of that ship has passed. With monster heal, amazing HE, impressive AP.. that ship is very good. With no planes, hydro or radar.. she is completely blind. adding mobility of a floating brick.. you are a very nice target for both DDs and CVs. I say wait for the jean Bart.. that thing will spice a lot of things up at tier 9..

Thats what I am saying too :) BB population is not unhappy. and lets say the %50 of the rest is unhappy about the BBs right now, one cannot compare it with the CV situation right now. Hardcore CV players are a rare anomaly right now, and the rest of the player base are either unhappy or don't care about the CV situation.

It should have been / already started with the ranked season on friday, and I think you already know that :) You are right. Respeccing captains for CB is not enough for 1 week If you ask me. Not only for those who use rental ships but for the others as well. I think anyone who participate at least 1 CB should have the chance to respec captains for free.. They even can make it weekly. Like you join a CB and respec captains free every week. And must be the same with Ranked.

Don't fool yourself, People are not unhappy in general with BBs. The forum / social media is just consist of %2 of the player base (WG said that) Don't think that the player base are all here and talking left and right.

Skill floor is the minimum skill requirement to play that ship at worst on the average level. Skill ceiling is the minimum skill requirement to play that ship at worst on the top %10 level

You are all wrong! I have a great source.. for the upcoming RU BB line. First there will be a tier 8 prem to check the pulse for the community. Then they will go in the same line with that. Meet the upcoming Russian tier 8 BB.. This will be RU carrier which will be released after the rehaul!

That ship is strong. And If you play on its srenghts you will get punished. But this is not special for the stalingrad. Yes it may punish you worse than the other cruisers.. but.. Don't give broadside or big angle to him.. 20 seconds reload.. Did you try to give a broadside to a desmo?? with 5 second reload.. yes it is a very strong ship.. ok.. But that thing has worse stealth and mobility than a MOSKVA... really?? Last night in CB.. We had a Yamato for BB.. and yes.. I was the one with the WORST stealth in the entire match :) that thing will be spotted from the other galaxy.. Put 2 same level players on a stalin.. and a zao or a hindi.. let them go against.. If the captain is a moron.. staling wins.. captain is average.. zao or hindi has slight advantage.. If the captain is good or above good.. that stalin has no chance against a hindi or a zao.. It will not break the randoms, it will not break the CB for sure.. Yes.. great players will club %40 seals in their tier X BBs and CAs.. but thats all.. you don't need stalin to club those windowlickers anyway!

I am not a CV player at all. and I accept it as a whole pack in the current situation as a player. I know how to defend myself, I know I have to change playstyle If there is a CV in the game.. etc etc.. But lets look at the big picture from the gaming and bussiness side. you have 4 main classes in a game, in which 1 of them is, has extremely low battle numbers at the level, forcing only 1 of them max in a battle does not impact people and on the contrary there are much more battles which does not have a CV in it than they does! Regardless of the reasons, that class has a low popularity. Very very high skill floor and skill ceiling is currently undiscovered Being highly effective of the outcome which actually because of the intelligence levels of the playerbase, but That is a lost cause that you can't get in. has a very different UI and playstyle that WG never used before, which is quite buggy. So basically, highly effective, very low in numbers, outside of the general playstyle of WOWs other classes, having very high skill floor, which most of the playerbase fails to recognize in them in the battle until they got striked out. So if you ask me, From the company side, or developer side, Current CV problem is beyond fixing. A complete overhaul is a must. To change the gameplay of the class completely. Because I think fixing the existing problems will not fix the population of this game and CVs will remain same or even worse If the UI gets better, faster and responsive. I understand, respect and actually support the decision of rewriting CV gameplay from scratch from the bussiness and gamplay perspective. and yes there will be a lot of unhappy CV mains. Why shouldn't they? they are extremely good in it. They are having much fun! so yes. They have the right to be pissed. But I guess WG is thinking like. "There are more unhappy people about the CV than the Happy ones" If we can make the unhappy bunch happy, after that, it does not matter If the happy guys becomes unhappy. then there is the console thingy, premium sales etc etc.. But please don't get me wrong, even though I understand and believe WG's decision for re-creating the CV gameplay is a correct and good one, I don't think they can do it properly to make people happy. At least in the first try. :) May be on the fith or sixth.. Lets hope!

It was long ago! There were a bunch of guys, who called them Dingers! all around the battle field. Driving tonks! spamming gold! Having fun! There were 2 teammates! Played a lot of battles together! side by side.. shoulder to shoulder! getting killed like morons together! And the years passed! They responded to the call of the mermaids! came back to the sea! They've answered the call of the floating steel! but seperetaly! and one hot august night, he was there! @Strappster Not in randoms.. but in Clan battles.. in a different clan this time.. was in his rented by the hour japanese prost... cruiser Zao! they had a very coordinated and nice push on the completely wrong side :) so we had them! But they killed me! When I saw that the battle was almost decided.. I stopped commanding my team, get focused on deliver some much needed citadels on a broadside zao! as a friendly gift! RNG saved him from me!! But it was good to see an old friend as an adversary!

You are asking the wrong questions to the OP, First you need to ask "How dumb are you?"

and after your first time discovery of your inventory, your warehouse will start to look like this.. Because there will be no modules being collected there anymore! So.. Imagine your inventory as a piggy bank.. you break it.. its gone forever :)

This is basically what I was saying. So I completely agree with you. Even in WOT, waiting is frustrating for a lot of people. In WOWs, I am sure a lot of player will say, neaah! feck it! I don't bother with this.. WOWs, clan wars is actually same as the WOT Team battles. 7 players, agains generally same level 7 players. The only difference is, that is tier 8+ 1x6 in WOWs it is tier X, and in WOWs, you can actually see your level, in WOT you can't. But you have a level to get into the MM.. Thats all.. If WG decides to put WOT style CB into the WOWs, I don't care, unless they give us same as WOT like Team battles. but a little more rewarding than the WOT TB.. something in between WOT TB and WOWS CB

as an FC of a CLAN who has 50 players, I am having hard time finding 7 players to start out the CB some days, and even though I have more than 7 players, only 3 to 4 of them sits for the whole duration of a CB night, people keep come and go. So, I think not only 12v12 but also 9v9 would be too much for most clans such as us. The reason behind this is, the general demographic of the population is too different from WOT, add this the total number of players at peak hours is just only a fraction of WOT player base.. I think that won't work. Low tier CB like WOT may be good to take people in like tier 6 and 8 but as I've said, Imagining some of the tier 10 players will go down for tiers just to have more casual CB.. numbers, yes will go up in total involvement in CB but will diminish in tier 10 CB leagues. On the other hand, teams are not as competetive in WOWs as in WOT. I frankly myself, just participating in CB to be with friends and to have a all communicating team. Like TB in WOT. We as a clan never joined in CB in WOT because, You have Attack hours, you have defense hours, I don't think most of our clan member will agree that the best defense hours is 3 to 4 AM in the morning :P you wait aimlessly for those hours.. just chat in TS or Discord. People here, don't have that much time to just wait. So, If team battles would be included in WOWs, I am totally ok for doing a global map CB here like as in WOT, But Global Map style, Trust me, will alienate a lot of players from CB. On the other hand, because of the low population in here, there are only a handful of high level clans, which will completely dominate the global map. It already is a problem with tier 10 CB in WOT with hundred thousands of players with hundreds of clans which at least there are more than 20 purple clans there..

I understand it is harder to play DDs when there are more than 1 radar in the enemy team, but no, it is not fubar. Some even find it more challenging. But everyone entitled to their own opinion. I can only ask one more question.. do you really care about that you get reported by window lickers? really? let them report as much as they can.. what can you lose?

what about not directly going into cap before seing there the radar ships are? or baiting radar?

It is basically this.. What are the weapons you can use in a CB Stealth : they dont have Torps (area denial) : They dont have DPM : they don't have Tankyness: they only have it bow on Great armor and turtleback: they dont have speed and agility: they don't have radar: they only got this.. So they were in a ship which can be seen from the moon with battleship agility without any torpedo threat... I see that is not an advantage at all.. But I didn't played or commanded against them.. May be If I see any replay of a said team setup, I may see that there are factors I do not see.. Because frankly, from where I stand, that team can use only 1 tactic without flexibility but any other team with a mixed composition can have more than a couple tactics to rekt them..

Everyship has its strenghts.. and weaknesses... If you put 6 in a team.. that means they have a very strong side.. but a very weakside at the same time. Trying to dpm a 4 moskva push is I think was wrong to do. Lets look, Strong side: insanely tanky bulk of floating HP with good guns. Weakside: they dont have torps.. they are spotted from the space... they have a very very squishy citadel.. I hindy.. rushing towards them.. sacrificing himself.. would get you enough time to push onto the moskva in C and take better positions to flank them. and that pushing / sacrificing Hindi, would be enough to take at least 1 down with him.. because... Remember, they don't have a DD, and no torps on CA's either.. If you ask me, that is a great advantage for the enemy team...

Last night, we were in a division with a clanmate I guess it was in northern lights... I was in my minotaur and try to move between caps at the start around 2 min mark. Got detected, targeted hard, full left turn. There he was, running away from that same hard focus. Mr. @eliastion I've hit and scratched his paint for a traditional hello! I went to D cap to support my friend in the gearing, got stuck in, tried to run away, crossfired by to ZAOs, rekt! But we won in the end! Nice to see you forumite!

Right and left mouse buttons are fixed. The only way to change them to go into preferences.xml in the game folder. If you search the forum enough you will find it. You can go and dig in into my posts.. 3 to 4 months back. I got the advice from someone and it worked. But I forgot what did I do :)

De-Grasse... Sometimes Duca (depending on the operation.. That spotter plane comes very handy!) But If I want to have so much fun! I get my Buddy!... oh those guns.. (I have a 19pt captain for her :) )
