I really think I can learn from you.. lets say, we are 1 on 1.. you are bow tanking in your Staling.. I am pushing from 15kms in my hindi.. you saw that I will not stop.. then decided to go forward and turn.. It will take another 2km between us for you to find top speed.. when I see you I will hold my fire because either you are coming to ram me.. or you will turn.. you decided to turn, It does not matter how much damage you will eat.. but when you will be completed your turn.. there will be 10 to 12 kms in between us.. may be less.. I really wonder, what is after that.. lets say, we are in a complete flat line to each other.. you are going forward away, I am chasing in hindi.. what next? what will your move be? How do you think you can turn this into your favour?

Yep does not show it as new.. But If you have a fast computer, and there are more than dozens of messages, you will see, when you get back into port, all messages actually will be posted by the server all over again.. with the bling! I agree all of the points you made.. But I, again, wanna point out that I think, all of this strenghts are from the people who does not know what to do. Does stalingrad need a little bit tweaking? Hell yes.. Is she OP as hell.. Hell no.. Is she broken.. Hell no.. the thing is, It is the yamato of the cruisers.. You need to leave the yamato to the end of the battle.. If you fight with a yamato when there are friends supporting him, you will have a bad time, Like stalin... First you need to get him alone... More than a couple times, I found a lone stalin, pushed in my hindi.. and obliterated her.. Can't disengage because of the concealment, can't start running away because giving broadside to a hindi in a RU cruiser is not a good idea, and what will you do? kite in a stalin?? :) cannot push and torp.. no torps.. They just reversed back, burned down a lot, try to hit my bow at first.. then my SS, then reverted back to HE.. which I have the legen.Mod and tanking build in hindi.. and waited there me to finish them off.. completely helpless If you ask me.. The bottom line is actually.. yes again, Stalingrad is a massively powerful ship.. but so as hindi.. and moskva... The difference between these ships I say is the captain, not the ship.. So If you put same captain into those ships.. the deciding factor of the engagement will not be the ship but the skill and concentration and decision making...

That is the sound of getting a message in division screen or any other open chat window. Just check it, when somebody writes something in division chat for example, at 22:32, you hear a "BLING!" Then you go in battle, when you get out, check the division chat again... If you are out of battle for example at 22:45, all the messages will look like they've been sent on 22:45, and you will hear bling again. Be careful this time, you will always hear that ghostly bling, when you come back to port after a battle.

I agree that the Stalin is a very very strong ship. But I believe most of her strenghts coming from people who does not know what to do against it.. For example, If you try to turn and give a broadside, she punishes you more than any other cruiser.. But If you charge her 1v1 on any HE spammer with Torps... she will have a very bad time.. Or If you just sit bow on in a moskva against it.. she will burn down.. I want to note this again.. Stalingrad is an extremely good ship, in defensive positions... If you want to push.. or attack.. against more than 1 enemy.. you will have a very short life If those enemies have at least one working brain in between them..

I say yes.. Don't have stalinium.. but I love my Moskva, and I witnessed so many times, a lone stalin was hopless against bow tanking Enemy BBs.. Moskva has far superior HE performance. On the other hand, Moskva is a little more nibmle.. even though very tiny, have better concealment. After adding the legendary upgrade... Moskva is incredible.. really.. incredible.. when you get 45% accuracy in a match, which you fired almost %95 of your shells over 15kms or far... you really see the effect of the LM... and.. I remember a couple times.. I got 1v1 against a stali.. in CB last season.. You sit bow on.. nothing he can do.. unless he charges against you.. and that will give a great opportunity to your teammates to blap his arse to the moon.. Stali is an extremely good ship.. but an opportunitist.. If you give him the chance.. he wil wreck you.. does not matter which ship you are.. but thats all.. If you are not in a position that you are forced to make a move.. then you are golden.. sit.. and wait him to make a move.. This is the scenario you want an enemy stalin in.. not bow tanking and reversing..

I agree... really.. the last days.. something is wrong.. or I must say, more wrong than the usual.. I support your vote kick idea.. but with a slight difference.. In the end.. ask the top half of the team to cast a vote on the player who though is a complete glue sniffer in their own team.. Give players 10 votes per day.. no more.. The player who gets the most votes.. becomes the Gluesniffer of the team for that match. then when a player gets an average gluesniffer award for >0.5 per battle.. after 100 battles.. Paint them Green! and show the rest of the team his/her status.. for another 100 Battles. If they continue to collect awards like greengrass... just put them in co-op for 100 battles.. or block the ships they get most votes in.. something like that.. Because vote kicking during the battle.. will be a harsh penalty for some people.. anyone can have a brainfart moment time to time.. and it will not do good for the teams both in short or long period..

Again, you still haven't answered yet? What do you suggest to nerf on hood after giving torpedos? If the torpedos are useless enough for not nerfing anything, why put them in the first place? If they are good weapons... then yes... On the other hand, What is with the hood fetish around here? We had an exact argument from VSUK not very long ago.. he desperetaly tried to convince people that hood needs torps :)

Actually a cool idea.. But lets think.. we are still waiting to hear the reason behind, changing a completely working division chat system into something which can't work from time to time. and we are still waiting for at least a stable port. I wouldn't keep my hopes up If I were you

I hope never.. because WOT sucks big time... like sahsa grey level sucks.. about the subject, people from wows explained numerous times... the when the current population of WOWs reaches millions like WOT they may consider putting a choice. right now, even the peak hours is not enough to give people to ability to choose. Dear OP, You have not enough battles, exp and game knowledge to be playing with yugumo If you ask me. Yugumo is a monster but a very tough monster to be good in it with the current meta. You need to learn, who has radar, hydro, charges, ranges, durations. If you wanna play high tier DDs. you are just trying to walk in a minefield with a blindfold and 2 crutches. and you said, you cannot even escape from radar with your smoke. This sentence here clearly states there is something horribly wrong and I think it is the ignorance. You need to learn so much more..

Dear OP, intentionally, shooting a teammate is never, ever, under no circumstances... is ok! I am totally with you there.. but with all the replies you wrote, I get the image of you as a more self focused DD captain, not a team player. I started this game as a DD main, stopped after a while (radar swarm) now back to my DDs again. You need to ask your team... where to? at the start.. dont wait.. dont look.. just gun down... you will have 1 min roughly to decide your strategy.. ask them.. where to? because for the start.. you shouldn't.. you must not go alone to a cap.. you have to be infront of your team.. at least a part of them. Again, these are just my opinions.. I've seen a lot of DDs got shot by teammates.. and I've never ever got shot in my DDs.. and everytime I've seen this happen, It was all about team play vs Selfish play.. Think about your play style.. think about your decisions.. then ask yourself.. Do I really play for the team? Because what you've experienced is an anomaly.. not a norm. Generally people do not shoot their DDs in every match.. So If an anomaly became a norm for you, then there must be something anormal with you (I mean your playstyle)

TL:DR IJN Torp boats are best for stealth torping in the current meta, but they are hardest to play and do good in them. Because stealth torping is diminishing with all the increasing dakka dakka and... STOP DISCRIMINATION AGAINST SHIMA!!! Some of the answers getting here amazes me.. all mixed up tiers in suggestions.. Dear OP, You asked stealth torp boats... On silver ships, all the IJN Torp boat line is the best sneaky torpedo boats, which are hardest to play in the current meta. Shima is the best PURE TORP BOAT in the game at tier 10. The number of games I didn't fire my guns at all.. are higher than the games that I fire them. Your guns can be used in 2 scenario, no chance to get undetected soon. finishing of an enemy ship in 2 to 3 salvos.. Other than that.. you are just a fish lover! Before anyone bashes me and my beautiful girl again (come on guys! this is getting more and more shipism! (like racism and sexism) show some love to shima) Here my stats in her, and let me remind you, my around first 50 battles with her was, %45WR and 30K average damage! Jingles futured a video from flambass. Ranked battle, the subject was rank 2 or 3.. in YY, tried to torp a Z from 3 KM, and went on raging.. cheater.. etc.. because the torps went under. Then people were in shock, and it has been cleared that, this guy just fEXPed his way to YY from tier 2 or 3.. to play in ranked.. just about a very short time ago.. and he has no idea.. I don't know which is more moronic, A person who has the ability of using a highly technological device (exhibit A: A personal computer) is unable/oblivious to read the sentences on the screen. Or.. That said person reached top ranks without learning some of the most important game mechanics.

Never! That ias blasphemy! If I cant beata boss and need help from a summon, I will torch myself alive! NO! Nuuuuuurrrseee!!! Yeah, just because of this, they made offline NPC summons for DarkSouls 2.. just to make plebs happy. Very rare but when you see teamplay and communication in randoms, ıt really makes your eyes damp! I remember a couple occasions, where people actually listened or give sound advice that I listened. Those are the games that you %99 win because tiny bit of teamplay always trumps the no teamplay. There is a saying in my language, You cannot make some people think, even If you shove a brain where the sun don't shine! omg, as an MMO player, this is completely make sense :) I've had tanks who said "I am evade tanking! so the boss cannot/will not hit me!" oh yeah.. I know bad players, they know they are not good, they know their capabilities, they know their limit. They try to learn, try to adapt. I know people who stuck on tiers 5 to 7 because they got pawned 8 or above. I know people who played DDs on low tiers but only BBs on high, because they know they cant deal with radar. these are the people they either help the team or not, but even not helping, they dont hurt. but the other kind, they think they know everything, think they are awesome players but MM screws them never think they need to learn anything actively hurting their team but never accept that never do mistakes. All the others on their team are wrong are the people who never move their fighters away from their strike squadrons when they play CV are the people who put range module on GK and refuses to accept this is wrong and stays around 20km are the people who get mushashis range over 30km and stays around 25 and says that is their mid range are the people who gets on the border with shima and refuse even to go in an uncontested map are the people they chase a zao towards to border in a group of 3BB and actively putting themselves out of the game. are the people who ALWAYS go to A cap on okinawa.. I can go on and on... but I am getting angry every second. I can accept the bad play, low skill. I am no judge to this. but when I see someone, completely and utterly clueless about the game mechanics, like torping a Z in YY and accusing him of cheating because the DWT didnt hit the Z.. I just want to pluck my hair and eat it.. Divisions mate.. divisions the only thing that makes this community bareable.. I am so glad that the bulldangstorm called ranked battles are ending and the new CB season starts.. that is the most fun for me.
